[PROG] Did you know Slyfer - Bada Software and Hacking General

larioteo developer make's verry great program but we know the samsug server changing, there's the source.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=601440&d=1305838631
Why im intersting about this program because difference with CheckFus you can see all about information, binary, can download just what file you want on firmware not all, can check number...etc
Thread for binary version :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1087530

larioteo was so sad where the server was changed
It is really good application and when i saw its source go public i hope that someone will take it to the next level but i think no one have the skills to do it
larioteo is really good developer and i am happy for working with him in Team VEA....he is currently so busy just like me-maybe i am a little bit more free-he is not planning to revive slyfer soon
Please Developers/Hackers if you think you got enough skills to rebuild slyfer just dig in it...i'll ask larioteo to watch his thread so he can answer anyone got a question about his code
Best Regards

hi folks,
you all know how to find latest version of android stock-roms on samsung server,
but only problem is that all software for decrypt them is for .NET (pseudo jvm) for windows...
so if you like to decrypt the files on linux you can get the commandline from:
http ://android.zsolttech.com/index.php?file=GT-I5700_I5700XXJH6_I5700ONEJI1_I5700XXJD1_I5700XXJH6_XX_ONE.zip.enc2
REPLACE the FILE parameter from the URL
pls remove space after http!!!
it just works for enc2 files....

Good idea lets hope someone cones up with a new app for this matwrpiece!

lets open an audiovox 4100 section

i don’t see why we shouldn’t open a section for the 4100 here. A lot of the developments that goes on here also work on the 4100.
I have done some research on it and so far I found out that the ppc4100 use 2 file to flash the rom one is the boot and the other is the WM image just like the others do. Now both of those files are nb0 format and can be extracted with dumprom.exe which is available here. It can flashed back on the ppc4100 using a flash card to hold the image and triggering it by booting with the bootstrap.
Wish list
to edit the image file ( to change certain files)
to compile the extracted files from the rom ( to customize the rom with new programs or to custom update to a newer operating system )
what does anyone think?
u can change the press icon on the 4100 its located in a file called bobo.exe in the windows folder.
see? its almost the same there is very little change i think we need to sit down for a little while and think about how good this will do.
it will bring in more readers that would like to read about the 4100 thus u will generate more traffic that also will generate more donations
so pls i dont know how to get the athoraty's attentions here at least concider it
or comment
thanks
I am very intersted in the 4100 development as well.. I was hoping someone in here or maybe a few would be interested in sharing some knowledge and possible experience. I have done a lot of research and played around quite a bit with this over the last week using various XDA tools as well as hex editor, ect. If anyone would be interested in helping please post us here.
hey jr97ai. might as well start posting here maybe we will catch someone's attention and they will declare the ppc4100 a worthy of this site
---------------
the original rom files for the 4100 are the currunt morst recent update from at& however, both files are *.bn0 extention. as follows.
SP_E0402_230A.nb0
SP_K1112_230A.nb0
i recieved those files from audiovox a little while ago. jr97ai and myself have been working on this and have extracted the files out of the romfiles with the use of dumprom.exe. (great app by the way). i think jr97ai knows alot more about this than i do and can explain a little better.
i will attach the bootstrap rom file along with a letter that came with the cd that was sent from audiovox. i can attach the rom file as soon as i free up my bandwith
I have been playing around with mkrom and have been experiencing some problems. as it says on mkrom its not the most user friendly program. no its not, not at all, not even close. but i still try anyways lost but still trying.
if anyone can somehow point us to a direction it coul dbe verry helpful.
there might be a possibility tto use the exsisting xda WMse existing rom to use on the 4100. they seem to be similar. they do use the same operating windows after all.
well i tryed to post the rom file many times it didnt work. its uploaded in the ftp if someone can post it.
every time i try to post it shows this err.
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/sp_k1112_230a.rar
question to anyone who can answer.
to change the operating system from win2003 to 2003se wouldi need to change the bootstrap as well?
i am thinking i could use a nb1 and rename it to nb0 it should be the same.
if you would like to see a new section appear for the audiovox 4100 please post saying so. maybe that will gets omeone's attention.
we got 60 views and only 2 ppl have posted.
ok .. so the rom for the 4100 is in the xda ftp sire. the file is called SP_K1112_230A.rar under ppc 4100

im working with audiovox ppc4100 , and if u wanna dump with rom for make permenent rill file and dont losse it when u make a hard reset ,,i think the best solution its when u replace rill u can make a completat backup in a sd card then when u have to make a hard reset u can restore your backup and all will work ok...by the way i have working well mms, photo contacts , npencil , ms money , etc.
not jsut the rilgsm
now that we are able to flash the rom to the ppc4100 i am thinking we could change the operationg system. i am running towards the wm2003 se . i am trying to look for a basic rom nb1 format so i can try to flash it.
i am thinkiing it will work but i am worried about the phone part of the ppc.
do u have any thoughts on this?
No ppc4100 folder, any help please!!!

Android port has began for Wave

I have been thinking of a side project i can start and since i recently acquired a wave and have a SGS myself it seems like a fun project. I found out that it has a hummingbird processor and may not be much difference from a Galaxy S in terms for hardware. Right now I'm just collecting as much information as i can about the device and what similarities the Wave has to a Samsung Galaxy S i9000.
So throw me what you got, its not an easy task and will need help, i have started another thread to see if i can get some Devs interested in this project and are willing to help in the android section
The idea is to port the Galaxy S i9000 firmware to the Wave that way you still have the samsung feel and since its made for the hummingbird processor. We will first need to see if we can get access to hardware and use that to inject code etc. This is in the research stage as of now.
THIS IS JUST A START AND MAY DIE BEFORE IT EVEN BEGINS. SO DON'T COMPLAIN WHY IT WAS STOPPED. I AM DOING THIS ONLY TO SEE IF I CAN DO IT AND NOTHING MORE.
If only i know C++ language, ican help you but i don't know. I'll follow and wait your results.
Keep going my friend. If you success (i hope) i will pay you to get the firmware!
thanx for starting this. i have visited forums where people are trying to port android on wave. And there biggest problem is bootloader. they cant dissemble it, just want to provide you this info. i will provide more info as soon as i get on any forums. This is the only way i can help, as i am only a application developer.
adfree is working on bootloader. Please, contact him.
@ jebise101
But you read this first?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=899535
I9000 stuff is available... but remember Baseband is Infineon... not Qualcomm...
Aplication Processor is identical...
Maybe more luck with Galaxy K M130K Firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12083886&postcount=7
But I can't find Firmware for M130K
Go find Firmware from M130K with BootFiles.
it says original firmware for M130K but not sure
pspmaster. tistory. com/48
looks like it is the firmware you wanted adfree
here is the link righ here easier http://pspmaster.tistory.com/48
use google chrome with this page as it is in korean
Well, if you google M130K-KIES, you can get the firmware via 4share, but the file it got was without the boot.bin :-(. But I'm not sure about the firmware from pspmaster.
whats with this project ?

pawlakpl this site androidport.net never end this project becouse no money.
Here is an app someone created i will try it when i get home to see if if i can get it to download the Korean SGS firmware (use to use it all the time back when i had the O2, if anyohne wants to give it a shot feel free

I've downloaded M130K-HOME-REV04-EA29.tar
Thanx to hsingh56 and mylove90.
As I've searched several hours via Google with no success...
Now I have also Bootloader files from M130K... but looks totally different as I thought...
Anyway... I9000 and M130K have similar folders/files...
factoryfs.rfs.img
Rename into *.img like above. And extract with WinImage for instance...
Then use open eyes.
1.
Few Images are QMG... for PowerOFF QMG Animation...
2.
*.so files
3.
lib\hw
...s5pc110.so
But anyway. As long NOBODY try with JTAG (RIFF BOX) + Wave S8500 + knowledge different combinations. If Boot area is secured?
We will NEVER see Android on Wave...

So the wuestion is....
Whos have JTAG+S8500+Knowledge+Free time to help the bootloader creation?
Yes,boot and sbl is secured(e-fused)

Euhmm. If you guys actually READ The site it shows we are working. Only we PROBALY need IDA. But we're in touch with Dopi from IDA. if things work out we will have the bootloader disassembled within 2 weeks and we can start testing the modified FW from the Galaxy S

Please, STOP. I won't comment on that nonsense. Let me just say good riddance to you and come back with the results. We already had enough talking and it's time for you to show whether you can distinguish ARMv4, ARMv7, decrypted, encrypted executables and any basics of code signing.

[Q] Making Beta Package

hi
good day
my new friend is a developer
he made an app and wants to publish a beta for tests
so is there any idea on how to make a small package for testing like darijoa from badanation.de did it??
http://www.badanation.de/topic.php?t=3966&page=1
P.S: i am not a developer so i'll just deliver data
Thanks in Advance
With bada SDK...
There is an option to make package... so only "Binary" is included instead Source Code.
If no one is faster, I will make an Screenshot... sooon.
Best Regards
What's the problem? You just need to replace the application in the "\App\" folder on his own and edit the "\App\App.cfg". Darijoa installer is just part of the Bada SDK with skillfully written bat-file.
hahahahahaha
Xenon do you expect from me to understand this??
my friend is just a new bada developer who needed some help
he knows C/C++ but didn't study the bada SDK
i didn't believe him when he told me that he wrote an app just 4 days after downloading SDK (thats too fast for me)
anyway i'll tell him what adfree said and what you said too
Thanks for helping guys
XDA rocks
Hi Guys
adfree/Xenon, is there any way to install any app [without having certificate to this application] by Darijoa bat file? If I'm installing original app with cert, for example Voluntas, installation goes well. But I was tryin' something different - I put MyExplorer app in "App" folder, changed strings in config file. When I tried to install this app using this method, my phone says "Error 0108" - no certificate to myExplorer. Is there any way to install ANY application using this method? Is there any option to create certificate to application what I didn't created?
If you don't know what, I wanted to, I thought to create new spoof method for people using JL2 firmware. After this f*****n' Samsung Apps update, only way to run "non-free" games is to reflash their phones [downgrade to JK1 for example]. Not everybody want to do this
Btw, Xenon, good work with sp.so protection
adfree, good job with all U R doing
Best regards,
wxtester
I am sure Adfree has absolutely no interest in supporting a new "****ing" method of spoofing.
Btw, with that **** you are not damaging Samsung, but small developer groups and freelancers like us.
@wxtester
This installation method is only available for applications signed by developers certificate. And so by this way is possible to install only one application. Create a certificate - a task nearly impossible. Possible way to solve - edit apps_сompressed.bin, so I'm hope for success in the holod's QMD packing, this will open a new stage in the creation of custom firmwares.

[Q] Problem on installing apps to an unpublished Bada phone (GT-S7250)

Hello guys, I'm a greenhand on XDA, English and Mobile-dev, so please forgive any of my stupid words if I do have said in the bellowing description.
Yesterday, I joined the Samsung Bada Developers' Day, and got an unpublished Bada phone, it's GT-S7250 (Wave M). The problem is , I found I don't know how to install apps on it .
At first, I tried the built-in app market client, but strangely, I can only found some test apps on it, I guess that 's because the app market server still can't recognize this phone type yet.
Then, I use Samsung Kies on my PC, wish I could send apps to my phone after downloading them with Kies, but unfortunately, still doesn't work, cause it always prompts that the device is not supported.
So, could anyone provides my any idea to bypass all these limitations ? Thanks.
PS: I have do some monitoring work on Kies, and seems that there no validation requests to the server, and thus I think there might be a configuration file on the local disk, containing the supported devices's info, and if we can find and hack it, perhaps we could bypass the limitation.
what display resolution does your device have?
maybe you could ask larioteo for a copy of his app, he has found a method to install one app without kies, but he's only developing in 800*480 resolution
Can you show us the FW code read by kies???
i want to see if i can get the FW you have right now
About hacking kies...i think your phone is HVGA device so you can't install apps that are in kies right now
Wait until larioteo is back from his work to see what we can do about it
maybe we take you as a tester because you know chinese and we don't have chinese localization
Best Regards

Thanks for your reply, as @mylove90 said, the screen is HVGA, 480x320.
I will dig into larioteo 's posts while waiting for his reply.
Acutally, I have found the downloaded app files on my PC, the path is
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Samsung\Kies\Download\Applications, under this folder, I have found the *.app files, together with the corresponding *.app.img file each. I guess these are the app files I need, but to my disappoint ,when I copy these files onto my phone, I can't install them, it prompts unknown file type.

Hi, mylove90, thanks for your reply.
To be honest , I don't quite understand what do you mean by "FW code", this is the first time I met this abbreviation, I guess you mean the "FirmWare code", right ? If so , Kies shows the firmware version is : S7250XXKI8/S7250XAKI8(XXX) , Hope this is what we need to find.
As to become a tester, I have to say that I'm REALLY REALLY glad to do that, it's an great honor for me that I can do something for possibly all Bada users as my feedback to the community.
And I also had a look at larioteo's post about the voluntas browser, hope I can do somthing for it.
Thank you again,
Best Regards.
S7250XXKI8/S7250XAKI8(XXX)

Thank you for info.
Firmware seems from September... XXX seems Product Code...
About install Apps... as handset is "new" (different Resolution)...
But you could play with bada 2.0 SDK to install few examples...
Maybe be carefully, as it is an prototype and as I know no Firmware is leaked, to fix problems...
Best Regards
I found something, if i wanted to search "S7250XXKI8". There is http://www.badaforums.net/forums/bada2/bada-dev-day-2011-t4913.html discussion on badaforums about Wave M.
Oh Samsung is so evil
XXX is invalid product code for kies updates
you get XXX product code is you damaged your original one
they know that we already got kies firmwares for sure
Best Regards
Hello there i am see left
XXX is not invalid it is the "Default Code", the main product code for all devices, only test devices gets this code, it is the ultimative update everything code.
As i know it from slyfer my tool to watch their server XXX was always the first code that got an open europe firmware, than the others get an upadte like DBT, OXA OXB OXC OXD OXE OXG after that the providers pick another of that and make something liket his VIA DRE and so on.
For more infos you need only to ask.
Picture in 5 minuetes: (also with other codes that you believe me )
note: yes the server changed but not the codes
larioteo know the best, but probably you can't install any apps that already launched. I mean, you can't install the apps that downloaded with Kies. but you can install an app that under development via Bada SDK 2.0 or larioteo's method. I hope I didn't make things worse for you.
Root Cert method via BADA SDK
If you just want to install your own apps on your wave M, ask Laoriteo about the root cert method via BADA SDK.
Really appreciate all you guys very very much, thank you for you kindly replies to my first thread on XDA.
According to your opinions, seems that there isn't much I can do with this problem. Perhaps I can only wait for the publication of this phone type, maybe till that time I will be able to use the built-in Samsung app market client. Or perhaps some hackers may jailbreak Bada, so that we can directly install any apps.
Then, I will be aiming at Bada app development, because I really feel the lack of apps on Bada, especially under the condition that I can't install any apps on this phone now.
Thank you,everyone!

Maybe you could try this...
Maybe you see then Firmware for your handset...
Maybe Apps...

Porting Firefox OS to FP1

Continuing the discussion from Firefox OS is the way to go!
Hi guys!
I am new to xda-devs, but have been visiting it for useful information in the past.
I own a FP1 (First Edition) and am seeking to port FFOS to the FP1.
I do not have any developing experience, I have just done C and Java and I am comfortable with Linux's CLI.
I am following this guide: Porting Firefox OS
Currently I am stuck at the following: Create a manifest for the new device
[edit]
Which changes do I have to make to the hamachi manifest mentioned there?
I figured out, that most of the stuff is hamachi-specific and thus not required. My current manifest is attached. Could you please take a look and tell me, if this is enough?
These files are at hand:

Well there already is a recovery file for the fp1 + fp1u by chrmhoffmann up and running. The MTK6589 source code is kind of released and there has been a lot of work on the android code by the omnirom project, which might come in handy.
Should be definitely manageable to build and try out Firefox OS on the FP1. UnfortunatelyI'll just don't have the time to really dig into that. Maybe someone with a bit more experience can give it a shot. I'd love to see and try out the result...

Yes, the config.sh got stuck at like 93%.
Also I have no idea, what exactly I have to include into the manifest file. I think I need a toolchain, but I am not sure where to get one, and how to apply it. (I somehow know what it is though, I think... )
Ok, running the config.sh comes at the very end, so I probably should continue with the configuration tree[1]...
Does everything in here [2](@chrmhoffmann's repo android_device_fp_FP1) go to the configuration tree?

No haven't been able to work on this.
I still have no idea, where and how to build this configuration tree. Do you have advice on this?
Thank you, Stefan
Fyi, a build is now available. As a new user on XDA, I can not post link here (what a ****ty rule), but check bug 1139642 on bugzilla and search Fairphone on the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) to have more info.
Wrong phone (FP1(U) vs FP2)
The build, you are referring to, is for FP2, not for FP1.
A Firefox OS for FP1 could possibly be built using the source by @chrmhoffmann: http://forum.xda-developers.com/fairphone/orig-development/rom-fairphone-fp1-kitkat-4-4-2-t3243623
