Why does otterbox shun WP7 - Windows Phone 7 General

can't seem to find any WP7 device I would use having an otterbox, and even case-mate is slacking...

Because they're idiots.

Or, quite possibly, a good business decision by Otterbox ? Otterbox makes great cases, and has some expense in making the molds for devices, marketing, support, etc. Without microsoft releasing sales numbers , otterbox has no idea which model phone would prove profitable to make skins for.
If microsoft ever releases sales figures, expect cases to follow shortly.
also, if droidrage is the best marketing ms can do, don't expect to ever see sales numbers released.

I just want to see the charging case, for $49 that sounds hawt. Probably bulky, but I wonder how much additional power it'll provide...
$30 for a pouch? That seems like a lot for something that HTC used to just throw in with their older phones.
I wonder what the car kit consists of. For $60 I hope there will be several mounting options.

i like the body glove case, looks pretty cool. think i'll get a boxwave screen protector - they've never let me down.

$30 for an HDMI? Wow.
Fwiw my local sprint store says they will be selling evo accessories starting June 3rd.

Samsung Taylor

So i was given this phone as a gift,

i couldnt find much info on ebay for how much it's worth??
the samsung taylor is what they gave out as pre-release phones for developers. it's pretty much a limited edition phone which you won't ever see hit the shelves. If you've got one, you could probably put it up on ebay for $500, and see if you get many bids on it. It's just that given there are very few of those phones around, you might not get many trying to buy it either.
in saying that though, i know quite a few people who want phones with physical 3-pair keys (back/start/search). So you might get a good deal if you spread the word.
make sure it doesn't have a Microsoft asset tag under the battery, I'd be careful there.
Thats an interesting gift to be given.
I would personally keep it as they are quite unique.

Korea Aluminum bumper

guys look at this, and this is awesome!
LOL. $65 bux.
$70 and it doesn't even protect the ass of the phone.
$69 @[email protected] I think $9 is worth.
It doesn't protect the camera area but I think it looks a lot better than the Taurus. It seems to be similar to the vapor line of cases for the iPhone.
I use korean sweetarmor gs2 and it is much much better than this one.

Who makes this case for the Razr?

One of my coworkers finally upgraded his original Droid to the Razr and Verizon sold him this phone case/belt clip. I couldn't find any markings or manufacturer labels anywhere, but wanted to find the manufacturer. It's perfect. Built in kick stand. Belt clip had fuzzy on the inside to protect the screen, clip can swivel to either vertical or horizontal and has a tight grip on the phone when installed.

So much want.
+1 from me too.
I looked on Verizon's website, but it still does not show the manufacturer.
Hopefully, when this hits the states, it might open up more choices of accessories.
Kind of BS, since they already have "sold" a million, but I guess some accessory companies won't build unless the device is in the states.
Oh man that is fugly!

RIM done for?

Saw this infographic this morning by http://www.firmex.com on the future of RIM and found it to be pretty interesting/relevant to this forum. Any opinions on who you might think acquire them (if anyone at all)? It would be pretty awesome to get enterprise security added to Sammy phones (however unlikely that may be).

Looking for the relevance part....maybe in the general Android forum?
I think RIM will probably move to a services oriented company.

Lol it's relevant in the sense that if Sammy picks up RIM it would impact the nature of Samsung devices. This applies to all the manufacturers but I personally own a GNEx so this is where i posted it
