1. Can I flash this to my phone, if not will CyanogenMod be releasing nightlies for the Sprint version?? http://cm-nightlies.appspot.com/?device=galaxys2
2. Will this phone get Android 4.0?

Yes ibwould fully expect thisnphone too get icecream sandwich. And it been posted in numerous places that it will. Its the freakin gs2 man. Haha long before it was ever released even when it was just a rumor everyone wanted it. Its sprints current flagship.. and the best phone currently available for purchase. And from what i understand yeah you can flash that but it will cause your modem too stop working. Meaning yeah itll work boot and all but no data or phone calls

Nothing was mentioned that I saw, nore did anything get posted afterwards. Speculation is rampant, from 'it should be just a couple weeks now' to 'this is delayed until Q1 2013.' So, grab some popcorn and watch people argue about thier predictions, of which they have as much insight as the rest of us: zero.

[Q] ROMs for Sprint Note 4

I bought my Note 4 today and I am wondering if there are any actual Lollipop ROMS that are cooked up or not... If I knew how I would customize my own, as of right now I have not even rooted it yet... although I want to. I have looked for them but they are all based on 5.0.1 or whatever... I was wondering if there was anything that was actually a port of it or if that makes a difference at all... I haven't rooted and flashed a phone in over a year and a half.... That is why I am cautious

I would use alliance rom its a modes stock rom with lots of customization

Any progress with "blacklisted" devices yet in 2016?

Im one of those guys with a paperweight. During the holidays last year, I ended up with a blocked Fire TV 2 because of a shipping error. No sweat off my back, as Amazon quickly sent the replacement, but still it kills me to have this sexy black box sit around and do nothing. Amazon doesnt want it back, they dont want anybody using it, and I am not ethically questionable haha. I am literally UNABLE to throw this thing away. At the very least I have an extra remote and power converter, but still... you guys know what im talking about.
Anyhow, Im not unfamiliar with small-component electronics and circuitry. I know we will likely never to be able to bypass the registration screen through the software, as ADB has not yet been turned on for USB or network. This leaves me seeking out hardware root methods to install custom recovery and thus custom firmware to bypass registration. But alas, I cannot find any guides on the subject, nor even a simple discussion. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Any discussion with some recent activity involving EMMC or other methods should suffice. If I dont find anything i suppose ill have to delve into this on my own. Deep waters!

A hopeful bump in case somebody hasn't seen this yet, but it looks like I'm on my own here. I'll be diving into hardware rooting and let yall know what happens.

I wish I had an answer by I think I have the same issue. Can't past registration page.
I thought it was from previous owner modifying hosts list. But not sure. I just posted my issue last night and the mention of the device being blacklisted brought my searches to here.
Hopefully someone has conquered this.
(Or at least give me a definite answer and I will cut my loses....

Thanks. I sold it to someone who was a programmer and wanted to experiment with it.

Why is the one on firmware finder not approved for installation? Seems like they pulled the release at last minute or something.

I mean I could understand it being done in waves but nobody on record has received this update as far as I know of

Because if somebody did they would have posted it I'm fairly certain 80 percent of us honor 7x owners are on xda or a similar forum

I saw a Facebook post on the Honor USA Beta group that they did get the official release. Not from a beta member I think. Anyway, I know that I was maybe two weeks behind the first post from when the B140 and B150 patches came out, so I expect this to be as long or longer as it is a larger update.
