when typing out an email address, do you have the problem where letters appear twice?
e.g.
in the To box, I aim to type
[email protected]
and instead appears
ttetestest
this is really annoying, can anyone confirm if they are having the same problem please?

unable to dl attachments from my yahoo account via the mail app, it says attachement missing would you like to download, i say yes the timer spins a bit then puts an ! on the icon, if i click it again it says same thing attachment missing i tried on wifi and 3g anyone know what the prob is ??
Hi, sorry to jump on your bandwagon but I have a similar problem.
Have one pop3 account and a hotmail account configured and when I go to download the whole message, including attachments, I can't see or save any attachments. Just get a white mail with not much else apart from the text.
Is there a tick in a box Ive missed?

I find I can receive certain kinds of attachments. PDFs are no problem, but I receive daily reports compressed as tar.gz files and mail offers to download them but doesn't - just as you described above.
Does anyone else see this?
Using exchange activesync on my Dinc to get my work email, and noticed some weird behavior. when composing an email using the stock email app on cm7, I can type a contact name in the to: field and it will search the global address list, but no matter that name I use it only returns 19 results, where as my co-workers iphone will show all of the related contacts.
is there any way to show more contacts? has anyone else experienced this?

The touchwiz email app when it checks for and downloads emails to my phone they are shown as read when I log into mail.yahoo.com on my laptop. I can't find any setting to change this. NB I haven't even read them on the phone either (and this is shown correctly as unread on the phone) but they show up as read on the main server anyway. Any ideas how to fix this?
Nobody? Come on this should be an easy one for you guys. Someone please help?

Its gotta be the app itself doing it.. Have you tried K-9 Mail or something different to see if the problem persists? I don't see any settings in the stock email app that could fix this problem..

I've had this issue ever since I've been using Samsung phones with TouchWiz. The issue is that when I send mail it shows it as coming from my hotmail USER NAME instead of my hotmail display name. This means that instead of my first name and last name (John Smith) showing up in the from field when I send an email, it shows up as jsmith. This issue seems to have been around forever. It works fine with my work exchange account though. Any ideas, help, solutions etc?

I'm having an issue where inline images in emails sent to my Exchange account are not displayed in the body of the email. There's only a white space shown where the image should be with question mark in blue.
I have researched and i think i saw some users posting issue as android email bug.
I have downloaded Enhanced Email App and it just shows images in email body fine. now issue is when i try to reply email using that app format is messedup when other party receives email. everything is in just one line even you properly formatted when you wrote the email.
Anybody can help with native help.
