A great response for a senior member of this forum.
If it is not possible just say so! ( although for this question i get the picture )
There will always be newcomers who will ask questions from members of sites. In some cases they will be the most basic thing (to you) but to us it is a question that is genuine.
If they annoy you, don't respond at all.
Maybe there should be a Sticky folder at the start of each Thread named (questions from newbies) or something along those lines, that the senior members that remember when they were the newbies could respond to those questions, which obviously offend you.
Just my 2 cents.

There are quit a few projects going on in the Development and Hacking Threads, This will give you some idea on where to start.. I had this running on my Hermes.

i think he's referring to the business attitude, not the actual color.
i think sometimes some senior members forget the fact that not all members are as knowledgable nor as experienced as they are.

Until you know your way around, it is HARD to find anything on XDA, I remember when I first came here, It took me a lot of looking to find anything.
I know this is a developers forum, but its nice, to be, nice?

I think mostly it is because these people hate their lives and take it out on people online where they can hide behind their computers.

Also don't think that just because someone is a senior member, automatically means that they know more and have more experience than a Junior Member.

One of the important changes is that we are redesigning our frontpage to be a portal where you can find news and other interesting content from xda-dev. I've just seen the first version of the redesign and it is looking very promising, but we need you!
We are looking for newswriters, to provide us with news articles to place on the front page. You don't need to be extremely experienced, but if you're active on the forums and have a couple hours available to write (short) articles on things happening at xda-dev that you feel could be interesting for everyone, please contact me.

svetius has stated that it is in the pipe line, but we are waiting for the initial bugs to be ironed out and then some time needs to be spent planning it, etc.
Oh, and we'll need the new servers up and running first .

Nope. It's still up. The post is regarding the A200 demo video. In fact, several of their other posts have been overrun by angry A500 and A100 owners.

Referrals are when someone mentions you when registering. Basically saying that you referred them to the site. Moved to About XDA.

BAM! Resurrected once more! However fleeting it may (will) be with 2017 around the corner life has just bloomed into too many introspective conversations with myself. Getting older sucks haha...but I had no idea this was a thing until I was I had one of those bad boys on my stats chart *flexes muscles* :victory::highfive: I feel like due to the nature of that number being very...specific I should know who referred me but I haven't the slightest buaha I still don't have a computer to help with my claims of an aspiring dev...rent shouldn't be a thing IMHO haha
