[Q] Latest flash update - drains battery ?

Hi All,
Yesterday I received notification on Adobe flash update. So I updated via market. Since then my battery was draining faster than normal. I checked battery information and it shows "Android System" utilize much of the battery.
- Flash version is (10.1 10.1.106.1)
After the full charge, it used to lost one percent(99%) after 50m/1h (screenoff/no calls/no wifi/no data - everything turned off/idle mode)
But after flash update it came for 5m/10m (same scenario).
BTW, I am using Leedroid 2.3d (Froyo/Sense). After uninstalling the update its back to normal(I can confirm that)
Is anyone observing the same issue?
i thought the update that came out last night was just a quick fix for those devices that 'weren't supported' last update...
from what I remember the last update was something like 10.1.106.15 and this one is 10.1.106.16... so I doubted anything of great significance was fixed/broken...
maybe there'll be another update tonight to fix it
I haven't noticed an increase in battery usage at all - I'm on stock.
No increased battery draining here as well.
Not me either (official froyo, never rooted)
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

[Q] Wierd battery behaviour

Hi folks, so yesterday I updated my GNex to 4.2 jelly bean, everything working very good except one small little problem ... So I left my GNex over night and woke up this morning finding out that my battery got drained quite a while ... Went to check what it is and BAM ... My screen waisted 39 % of the battery which is quite a feat, since it almost never drops under 50 % The second top drainer is Android system with 30 %, I mean wtf?? Does any1 else get so high values after updating to 4.2? Just to note I'm on a yakju Gnexus ...

there are many factor that can affect the life of your battery, one of it is the kernel ur using.
try different custom rom. try this from PARANOIDANDROID http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619582
So far it has been stock, but what's bugging me is the fact that Android system is using 30 % of the battery, the same system that was using 1 % of the battery back on 4.1.2 also stock ... I'm wondering what the hell happened with it -.-

I had the same issues. My problem was the exchange account. Had to do a hard reset after upgrading to 4.2. Issue was resolved after the hard reset and setuping up the exchange account without Push.
I am also on stock and the culprint of constant wakelocks is Google services.
If I turn location services off - I have usual batt. life as I had with 4.1.2 but as soon as I turn location on its getting into drain mode.
- same apps installed as on 4.1.2
- default stock kernel
- issues either on OTA version or odexed rom (via CWM)
- factory reset doesn't help
And I don't want to believe it's an error on my side, why should it be, it worked before with the same setup and same apps. Probably will go back to 4.1.2 as I don't want to wake up to a drained phone.
Now in order to get the same battery life as before I have to disable Google now/location access.
I have the exact same problems on the Nexus 7 just for the record.

[Q] Serious battery drain after factory reset

Hi,
so far I was happy with my SM3, even under heavy use it always lastet 2 days. However, since I did not recieve the OTA update I did a factory reset of the watch like it was suggested in one of the threads here. Got the OTA update two days later. However since I did the factory reset I have serious battery drain issues. even without a connection to the fone I'm loosing up to 10% an hour, under light use I barely last a work day.
Hi,
You can see battery usage information from android wear app, setting -> watch battery
It will show you a graph and you may find which causes your battery drains.

[Q] overheating and battery drain after lollipop

Hi,
Just got my LG G3 and did a lollipop update via PC suite. However the battery drain is crazy and I lose about 1% every 1-2mins. Even when idle it drains significantly and back of phone is significantly warm (not hot though). I have done several soft resets and even done a factory reset.
I suspect the problem is with android system which consumes 30-35% but can't seem to pin point thre particular app or process. I have attached a screen shot of battery usage. Hope I can get some help!!

Download GSAM Battery Manager and post the specific details from it
It breaks down the wakelocks that are keeping your phone from going to sleep
What about the overheating or hot power and volume buttons. Did you find a fix? Have you had random reboots like be in a call or sending a text or browinsg the web and your phone just jump to the reboot screen? Is there a fix for that? If so I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm on lg g3 for art running cm12.1 android 5.1.1 thanks!

[Huawei watch GT2 - FW 1.0.9.58] BATTERY DRAIN

After I received the upgrade to 1.0.9.58 couple of days ago I am facing serious battery drain on my GT2.
Before my GT2 last easily 7-10 days. After the FW upgrade I went to 1,5 day only !!!!
I did not changed anything in my GT2 settings or android Health app settings. I am using just default watch face no custom faces.
•I tried to reset the GT2 directly from watch display. - doesn` t help
•Than I tried to restore to default settings form android Health app - doesn` t help
•I switched off all monitoring functions (heart/stress/sleep) - only small improvement
• at the end I reinstalled the android health app completely - nothing changed
In 21hrs I had a drop of -45% from battery. I have them just 1 year so battery life should be fully ok...
Is there somebody else facing the same problem ?
Any Idea how to fix ?
I am desperate already
Unfortunately i have the same problems, although mine last 3 day's.
That last update was a really bad one! I have seen many people having problems with their gt after this update! Including me with no connection for calls.

Not on the watch!
I also upgraded my GT2 to this firmware version a couple of days ago, hoping for the inclusion of SPO2 function but nothing.
BTW there truly is a significant drop in battery life since. It's actually like 20% battery per day instead of 12%~15% battery per day before.
Hope Huawei fixes this ASAP.
Battery after 6 day's 15% power without stress and heart beats.Only sleep mode is on and automatic screen opening with hand gesture.
The important problem after the last update is the missed calls. Now show only the number and not the name of the contact.
Before I do not have this problem.
Can you suggest me a solution to this problem?

Waiting for the next update, maybe?
Just reset my GT2 today to see if the battery life is improving...
i am also on that new firmaware, and not facing any issue. charged watch last monday, 5.10.., and till today battery is on 23%.
I also have a lot of battery consumption, only notifications, sleep and pulse are on. restarting to factory settings did not help. frimware 1.0.9.58. will there be any new updates?
I've sent my GT2pro to service as they are still under warranty. Service did changed the motherboard and admit the issue. (Battery drain, random freazing)
Now I am back at FW 1.0.8.16 with blocked auto updates in Health app. Nobody will persuate me to update into 1.0.9.58. ....Will wait for the next release in the row

Yes the last version before the 1.0.9.58 was the best, has all the latest updates and great battery life. I've been able to go through the entire week without charging and it still has like 25% left.
With the current firmware version I struggle to reach the 5th day before the battery goes red.
Just got a Honor Watch magic 2 42 mm and it updated itself automatically (or I updated it unconsciously) on setup. I'm facing the same problems as you describe. I know the 42mm has half the battery life, but it barely achieves 2 days with smart heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking so I searched for my software version and ended up here. If someone else can give feedback about the 42mm appreciated.
Thank for the thread and the info.
Same problem
Since that update, I only have 8 hours batterylife (I have the 42mm version). Still don't know after weeks what it causes.
on 1.0.9.58 i dont have any battery drain, but i see that watch is not counting steps correctly. When i wake at night and do some steps and when i check its saying 0 steps and then also sleep tracker saying that i was not awake.
Any idea when to expect next update? (.....after 1.0.9.58)
