A number of people have asked me for the current Galaxy Nexus baseband as an update zip, normally because they have a shipping device without the retail release.
So, here it is, for flashing via ClockworkMod. I'll update this post as new versions are released. Obviously you do not need to use these if you are already up to date.

Sorry, may be a silly question. Is this baseband considered the most 'generic' available?
Reason I ask, my Nexus is from Docomo in Japan. My BB is SC04DOMKKD. the SC04D, not coincidentally refers to the local model for the nexus, I suspect DOM is somehow DOcoMo!?
As I understand, hopefully someone can confirm, ideally my local BB would have tweaks and what not for local radios/towers etc. so I should stick with my local one, no?
I have the same question about the Japanese Docomo model.
is there any way you can upload a version that is flashable through fastboot? I read its a lot safer to flash radios through fastboot then through recovery. thanks

Hello,
Can someone upload the Galaxy X radio? I'm having trouble with Brazil carriers and would like to test the proper radio. My Galaxy Nexus is the UK version and the XXKK6 doesn't work really well here.
Thank you in advance!
Seconding this. Someone in the radio thread said they'd try to get a copy, but that was weeks ago and nothing has happened.
Anyone else able to contribute? Radio-ripping tools are available (to rooted users) in the radio-thread linked in my sig.
Don't know if it helps, but I´m using the Galaxy Nexus from Bell Canada (Baseband I9250UGKL1) and it works well on VIVO and TIM.

I've tried UGKL1 as well on TIM, but unfortunatelly i'm not so lucky.
I'm curious to see if the UIKL3 will solve my problem, if don't, then I'll be happy to change my carrier.
Thanks anyway man!

Did you make a nandroid before flashing the UK radio? If yes, then you can restore it and use the Gnex tool to extract the radio
Do a nandroid before this process so you can go back from where you were

I do have a backup made with CWM before flashing the XXKK6 but i don't see the radio.img.
The only thing i found that can save us is that inside of the data.ext4.tar there is this folder \data\radio with two files: nv_data.bin and its md5.
I did restored this backuo but the baseband didn't change.
Any clue?
Sorry. Nandroid does not backup radio.
If you have a non-standard baseband or one otherwise not uploaded to the internet somewhere, you need to back it up explicitly.
More info about that in the thread linked in my sig, but I guess it's a little bit late for that.

I have a Galaxy Nexus with a Custom 4.0.3 and I can't upgrade to 4.0.4 because assertions fail on install.
I read that i should to restore stock 4.0.2 but all links point to yakju-icl53f-factory-89fccaac.tgz in google android's page but this link is no longer available.

Download Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit from the developer forum. Then click 'flash stock + unroot'. the program will download the stock ROM for you and put you back to factory 100%.
Edit: Here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454314
There are no problems, with 40.4. Flash the provided miages (Unpack the tgz) make sure, that you flash the radio AND bootloader first, though! (Then maybe restart, after flashing those (Into bootloader))

In part i would agree, however i've been using that toolkit for awhile now and it's never failed me. It's a sticky in the Android Gnex developer forum with plenty of exposure and comments that haven't had anything negative to say about it. Cautious is good though, don't take my word for it - read the thread and see what others have to say about it.

I'm not OP, but as I'm korean I can assure that this is the second OTA for korean galaxy nexus(yakjukr).
(The first one was 4.0.2 update for 4.0.1 about three months ago)

Because there was no 4.0.3 update for korean Maybe it's compensation for slow ota before?

There was no 4.0.3 update for any Galaxy Nexus. IMM76K is likely the same codebase as IMM76I, with addtional regional things as well as different radios. I don't suspect we will see it come to yakju/takju/aosp unless there are more changes than that.

Yes. Basically:
1. Unlock bootloader if it isn't already. Note that this completely wipes your device, so backup pictures or whatever you don't want to lose in this process.
2. Flash factory image for takju or yakju your choice.

@Phone_Logic I just saw this thread. I can help you update over Teamviewer if you'd like. You have a new radio on your device which I'm sure a lot of folks here would like to try out.
I'd be happy to flash takju on your device and dump the radio at the same time. If you are interested, send me a PM.
EDIT: Actually, nevermind about the radio. I just checked the radio thread, and it seems like they already have that one.

I have created this thread to give a step-by-step on how to flash the latest yakju/takju (or mysid for toro users) build available on Google's developer site. (These are full ROMs. See this thread for updating to latest OTA build using incremental updates.)
This method works for earlier builds as well, and is essentially a "return-to-stock" method.
You can easily convert ANY GSM/HSPA (i.e., maguro) device to stock yakju (or takju) from any non-yakju build (yakjuxw, yakjuxs, yakjuux, yakjusc, yakjuzs, yakjudv, yakjukr, yakjujp, yakjuxe, etc.).
