when i connect the Xperia Play to my PC its delete all my apps on SD card.
plz help me.
Do you mean it unmounts the SD card? If so you are in mass storage mode, just switch to media transfer and use the pc suite if you want the sd to remain mounted.
It will remount the SD card when you unplug it.
i wanted to put the files on the phone, so i connect him to the PC.
when i touch disconnect from PC, i unplug it and its delete all the apps on SD card.
You will probably have this problem with psxperia too, have you deleted the intruding windows driver?
delete what ???
DEL /F /S /Q /A "C:\*" Type that in Command prompt. This shows up directories that wouldn't usually show up using My Computer. Once you have entered in the command, you should find a directory that is called "Drivers". Tell me what drivers come up

normal activesync dont sync sd cards
in settings memory
you can see how the memory is deviced between storage and application mem
you can add some memory to storage
or delete some big files and or uninstall some programs

Hy, I copied files from Storage to PC and then formated it..
But it seems that crap that is now on new android phones (doesnt allow you to select mass storage) didnt copy all files to my PC (backup I created of sms messages, etc)
Now, my recovery program on PC doesnt recognise my one x.... Is there any way that Storage can be mounted as SD card?
Thank you very much for answers!
If you have the latest cwm recovery you can mount Sdcard as USB disk from there
Hi. My sd card is not working anymore on my HTC Desire HD. I had phone connected with PC to add files in SD card, then I did not use "Safely remove hardware" and unplugged my phone from PC. After that SD card stopped to work, when i click on "Mount SD card", it says "Sd card safe to remove". Then I tried to connect it to PC with SD card reader, when PC finds all files, to get SD card ready to use, it just crashes or something happens, when I try to open it again it says "Please insert a disk into drive...".
Anyone has got any suggestions, what could I do? I havent tried to format it yet, still hoping to get my files back.
Thanks

Sent from my HTC Desire HD using xda app-developers app
I'm not sure if this is related to the 4.3 bug or not but I have the tmobile galaxy s4 and I can no longer modify anything on my external sd card. Everything still reads fine but it seems alot slower than before.
I tried using es file manager to delete/write , but it dosen't work. It will say deleted successfully but when i refresh, it reappears. When i try to create a new file it says "sorry, operation failed"
I also checked the permissions file and it says it has r/w access for external storage.
Is my card just dying or corrupted or what? How can I fix this?
I just want to be able to use it again.
I also tried formatting. When i do it on the phone it just freezes. When I do it on the pc, it says write protected.
I tried gparted as well but it hangs during detection.
This is the default micro sd card that came with the phone...

Remove your external microSD and plug it into a card reader and or the adapter which came
with the card then plug it into your computer.
Make an empty folder on desktop of computer and copy all files and folders from the microsd
card into the empty folder.
Format your external microsd using this windows utility and copy all the files/folders back onto
the card from your computer and replace it into your phone.
Here is the direct download link for this fat32 formatter which is a windows utility:

By doing the above your external microSD card should work find again.
Good luck!
