Can Somebody post the link to the 1% battery patch for the Arc?
I have the famous 0% issue but am working with a docomo ROM which is fine apart from the Chinese keyboard, would like to have it back to a UK ROM as small things like limited text characters and no smileys are just a couple of the bugs.
Thanks
Grant

Hi Folks!
Hope everyone's ok!
I have just purhcased a T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro 2, (Unlocked) and have been trying to install different CABs for the 1% battery increment instead of the current 10%.
I also applied the official T-Mobile ROM updated with Windows Mobile 6.5. I tried have a dozen different CABs and different versions, but all in vain, the increments are still in 10%s.
Anyone has managed on a simliar mobile on WM6.5?
Thanks

The 1% battery increment cabs only change what the phone's circuitry will report about your battery level...they don't change the fact that the stock battery meter in WM will only display 10% increments. To display your charge in the 1% steps, you'll need a taskbar with a battery icon that does that, or an app that will add only that to your current taskbar.
There's several taskbars available and a number of battery meter apps floating around these forums that would do the trick, search around and try them 'till you find one you like. The only ones here I've tried are BattClock 1.3, and Spike's MicNeo taskbar v2, and they both serve that function in their own way.

Did you try BattClock? Even if it's not something you want to use long-term, it should at least help determine if the 1%-increment cab actually did any good.
I might suggest looking through the thread related to the 1% cab to see if anyone has had similar problems getting it to work...it sounds to me like it hasn't made the changes it's supposed to, but I don't know why
Hi everybody,
I facing with a big issue since a while with my battery life. The battery is draining very very fast without visible reason...
I've tried everything to spot the problem but I now wonder if it is not an hardware problem (died battery).
So how can I know if I have to replace my battery or not ?
Thanx
P.S : sorry for my english
Please give us information about Hboot, Rom, kernel, etc.
Sent from ICS with Transparent XDA App
I didn't even know that I created the second topic. I suppose it's related to server problem I had few hours ago when I was told the topic wasn't created but apparently it was...
So, please close this topic and sorry :'
Thanx

Same here. Is there a stock battery percentage meter ?
I'm not rooted you see
Just get an app from the market, there are loads of free ones, or if u want it on ur actual top bar u can flash a different theme, my theme (link in my sigi) has a digital battery gauge that replaces the battery icon.
Or just use the UOT Kitchen for any of your theming needs, but it needs CWM

for the awesome Runny Rom. I am not sure whether he will read this post or not, anyways worth a try.
I am a noob in flashing and after trying a few ROMs for HTC Desire I reached Runny ROM v6.0. I find it very friendly and super cool. But I noticed 2 minor bug (Not sure whether its just me ). One is the Phone Shutdown at around 20% and another one is battery drain by dialer.
I searched for the same issue in XDA and google but couldn't get a fix.
Any one facing the same issue or found a solution please care to share the fix
In the mean time I have tried to do clean wipe, clean cache (all), clean battery stat, reflash, use battery calibrator, third party apps and other common stuff in google but in vain.
Since i have a few screen shots to share I started a new thread. If its a repost, I beg your pardon and please help to direct me to a similar thread in QA (As I cannot post in Developer threads).
Since I cannot post pictures here are the details
Android Version : 2.3.5
HTC Sense Version : 3.5
SW Number : Runny Rom v6.0
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.10_basekernal-gfb 1198d-dirty [email protected] #18
Baseband: 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.23
Build: 1.27.1400.4 CL182513 release keys
Browser: Webkit/533.1
I will try to put a picture of the graph for battery usage

Sorry cannot link pictures now.
Solution
Hi
I found a solution for the Battery death at 20% at
h.tt.p:././.forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1534892
(Did a search for 15% instead of 20% ....got lucky)
But Can I change the Kernel to a new one for the Batt Calibrator app as the Runny Rom V 6.0 comes with kernel built in (I guess)...
Any advice for Dialer battery drain bug is much appreciated.
Thanks

I know it is almost a year ago, but it may help anyway: the Dialer eats up lots of battery after a phone call as it keeps probing a proximity sensor continuously. One way is to restart a phone after each call (a bit silly), another is to block the proximity sensor: add "gsm.proximity.enable=false" to the build.prop file located in /system and reboot.
Search for "dialer wakelock bug" if you want other hints how to deal with the problem. The bug exists in many (all?) GB-based ROMs
Hi all, this is my first post in that forum, with a doubt about my girlfriends wildfire s. I rooted the phone months ago (unlocked + s-on) but cant find a stable and long-last-battery life with a2sd anywhere. Ive tried out with wildchild, cyano 7, miui, stocks and others ive find in htcmania (im spanish) and here in xda. She wants a ROM with Sense because of the widgets and simpleness. Now, shes using a sense 3.5 based one, but battery life cant last long more than 10h with about 1 or 1 and a half screen time... Without a2sd because it makes the phone bootloop and force closes everytime. I checkd the battery with an app that i use in my One X, gsam battery, and got immpresed about the radio drains.
Any help, suggestion? Thanks
Hi mate. I'm spanish too so i guess that you know some spanish developers such as chucky6600. He's permanently developing Sense roms and he's quite obssesed with battery friendly ones. If you are interested please contact me by MP in order not to make spam
