I have some problems in displaying arabic characters in my s8530 ?
How to add the arabic font ?
By installing the good firmware for your country?
Witch firmware do you use?

i want to have english and romanian input and english, romanian and arabic display in the browser

At the moment it is not easy to have all wishes at once... as Font and *,rsr files are not easily to change/add or replace...
Maybe Browser uses own Font... but here are other unsolved problems...

I want to make my ppc2002 reads the arabic language which has the encoding windows-1256 (cp-1256) . Unfortunately, the arabic encoding is not included with the system, so I can't read arabic web sites and sms
My question, can I add the encoding of arabic to the device and/or install new fonts which are for arabic ( don't tell me about imaginet arabizer, I want to arabize myself )
Another question, can I localize and translate the interface to the arabic language ?

The best solution for arabic support:
Please have alook at this amazing ROM. I found it yesterday while searching around, tried it on my phone and works like a treat. It supports ARABIC and PERSIAN, no need to install any programs to write or read in arabic, it even has arabic keyboard, also installed are prayer times and hijri calendar. After trying it i found that its the best for arabic support..

Thanks for your efforts and i will give it a try today after recieving my new diamond this afternoon.
btw, I suggest if you post some pictures about the arabic keyboard and i have one question if the MobiDiv arabizer supports VGA devices? because i preffer it to be on my device than the Informability especialy the Mobidiv Dictionary. i like Tarjim with it.

I currently have bada 1.0.2 in Israel, and there isn't bada 1.2 released yet in here.
My question is if I change my frimware to 1.2, is there any way to keep the keyboard language in hebrew, or change it to hebrew after i've changed the frimware?
I don't mind if the entire phone will be in english, all I care about is the keyboard.
