I have the game battleheart, and I just reflashed cyanogenmod. I tried to restore apps but battleheart keeps force closing, and I was pretty far along. I was wondering how I could cheat my way back to my rightful place.
I'm not quite sure where this belongs, but I just saw a thread about roman noodles so I'm not too worried.

Haha I believe you saw the ics from thread XD but I'm not to sure about a game hack. If you have amon recovery look for the option in the advanced menu that says fix uid mismatches or something close to that. Click it and let it do its thing wipe cache /dalvik before and after just as a precaution. And reboot. Might fix your fc problem

Go into settings>applications>manage applications>all scroll down to Google Framework Services, click it and clear data. As John stated make sure you have flashed the journal on script and do not shut down your phone improperly. Always wait until after the final vibe and lights are off on the keyboard before pulling the battery.

Thanks .. I just did this and now market won't start up.. didn't want to keep messing with stuff so I don't screw anything up.. any ideas as to what I should do?

Clear Market data the same way. You have corrupted data from an improper shut down or freeze. You really need to flash that journal on zip if you can get good data in your phone again. Perhaps restoring a backup prior to the corruptiont then flash the journal on zip.

Wiped cache and dalvik twice, fixed uid mismatches in recovery yet?
Have you deleted any system applications?
I would upload the .apk, but I am downloading 2.59 right now. Once it is done downloading I will upload it. Maybe a corrupted package

You said you already flashed the apk and it didn't do anything.

Well you may want to redownload and flash MikG. Chances are there was just a code screw up that was causing the issue. MikG is a pretty well known ROM. I doubt it would've achieved such success if the contacts apk was constantly FC'ing.
Edit: There also may have been an apk that you downloaded that didnt play nice with the contacts apk. Check into that possibility as well.

I'm not sure if its the phone the app or something else but my subscriptions are all gone and most of the videos I try to play crash the app. I have tried reflashing cm7 many times but it still occurs. No other app has any issue. Google search failed me so I was hoping someone might have an answer.

Did you go into settings-applications-manage applications-youtube and then clear data? I would try that before anything else. Also, are you undervolting at all? If I go to low with setCPU, youtube is usually the first thing to crash.
Its the app EVERYBODY has this issue and its pissing me off
If you read the apps reviews there plumeting because they haven't fixed it yet

The comments are great, lol. But in an effort to stay on topic, have you tried uninstalling then restoring an older version through Titanium?
This has worked for me NM the past.
Also, though it sounds noobish,have you cleared Dalvik and formatted /cache under mounts &storage? Always ask the simplest questions first. Damn A+ steps. ;-)

Are both of your subs not showing up when you go to "My channel"? Mine wont show up on the youtube widget, but do show up when I go to my channel. I clicked on a few of the recommended videos and about half caused FCs!
I don't use titanium. Clean installs only. I don't nandroid ever either. I know all the tricks for simple stuff since I've been on xda since my Samsung moment. I had figured it was YouTube being YouTube and having issues with everything. But I wasn't sure until I tested stuff.

Its happenning to me aswell. I found a fix that works. Go into cwm and wipe data cache n dalvik. It will wipe everything and you'll have to manually install your apps but it DOES work. Don't restore nandroid. It will bring back the bug.

I saw this fix somewwhere and it worked on my gf's epic running legendary 2.2 and samurai assassin (problem originated for her on acs ics 5.1). I did a factory data reset from the settings menu in android. After the phone reboots enter your account settings and restore apps with data using titanium backup. Its a bit tedious but it worked.

Hey guys I restored my nandroid of aokp b31 a little bit ago and flashed nyan kernel v4.1 I believe and when I went to download voodoo sounds or whatever it was from the market it gave me a message saying error processing purchase?
Edit: Same thing with Script Manager
I remember it did this for a different app as well not too long ago though I can't remember what it was, but I believe I was on cm9b2 at the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry if my posting this here causes any grief

How many texts are in it?
There are none in it. It's just my contacts name, then when you click on it to open, it opens a blank text message asking you to enter the recipient. Then when I try deleting it, my phone lags a bit and then I get an error message stating "unfortunately messaging has stopped". It is so frustrating!!!
Then the message thread appears in my inbox again

I have not seen this issue myself as described, but it's near impossible to really help beyond that without any idea as to what ROM is running (if not stock).
Are you able to backtrace any steps to a point where it didn't do this?
I'm on stock actually and unrooted still, I have no freaking clue what gives here. The worse part is that it's a female classmate of mine whose thread I can't delete and I'm a little uneasy that my wife might see that, think there is something going on between us (which there isn't) and shoot me while I'm sleeping!!! LoL

It sounds like some obscure corruption, or an update if one did occur on your phone didn't go as smoothly as it should have.
I wish I could offer more of an answer, but if a resolution is needed quickly before your significant other becomes a significant suspect in a murder case, you could try a factory reset after backing up what you can of pictures etc.

Thanks for your help, I truly do appreciate it. Perhaps I could clear data or force stop the messaging app and see if that helps. Will that cause any serious issues to arise later though. Because it warns not to do so, so I'm just wondering... would you suggest that?
P.S. I honestly don't think she would kill me, I'm more than convinced that she would shoot to wound only. lol...seriously

The only way I've remedied something similar is to clear data and wipe cache/dalvik but without a custom recovery Iono how. Last ditch effort is if you have root you can delete the database file with ALL your texts in it. I had to do this. Because I had 20k texts and it froze whenever I tried to delete.
