v1.0
Initial Release
v1.0.1
Removed Lines in App Drawer for smoother Scrolling Experience
Mods and Bugs
BUGS:
Rosie lines fixed in 1.0.1
looks good man. thanks
edit....
good, fast, stable stock rom. only thing I've noticed so far is that the lines are still in the app drawer like it's still paginated (forgot to remove). I flashed the TSM gingerbread theme on top flawless (themed on same base). I'm liking the speed of the rom, and being on stock is a breath of fresh air sometimes. And the boot animation is awesome!!
Reserved for my bug list
Hope it goes well.
E1 Can this be used on ext4 partitions?
E2 Sick boot animation. Just sayin.
E3 Flashed drel's #21 kernel, maybe a little preemptively. All is well so far! Except for the pagination lines existing in the app drawer.
E4 Every setting has been tweaked for battery conservation, including undervolting. Using smartassV2 at min and 1024. Gonna let 'er run all night and see where it is in the morning.
E5 No SMS screen on which is quite depressing to me...but anyway, after leaving it on all night it's still at 89%. Do note that I'm using smartassV2 though, which is probably the reason it's still that high

No, I want the screen to turn on when you get a message. Or any notification for that matter. Notification screen wake is also a name for it.

So been using this rom all morning and Havent found any major issues at least not for me but the page lines in drawer are not astetically pleasing if you could put up a patch or tut on how to remove that would be sweet.

i too ran all morning, flashed a mod. ran adw ex on top. very fast and smooth rom.
Well I'm glad ya'll like it. Any suggestions to make this as good as it can be will be greatly appreciated. I plan on 3.0 lock mod and mms, but other than that, I'm not sure.

Getting random fc on htc launcher not that big a deal but i think it may be from kernal im using...... Dre's #21 if you could tell me how to get logs an such would be more than happy to send them to you
Sent from my ADR6350 using xda premium
Figure out how to reproduce the fc, then do a logcat. It may be kernel related as I am running the stock kernel and haven't experienced this.

Ya i just put the stock kernel you provided back on so ill see how it goes over next few hours. Really love me some overclockin tho lolol

Introducing Magnolia for the Incredible 2. This is a mostly Sense 2.1 Gingerbread ROM with a few 3.0 elements added. It has many customizations and features to make you phone visually appealing and convenient to use. I sincerely hope you enjoy the ROM!
Features
Based on the Official 3.02.605.1 OTA;
Uses jcase's OC kernel;
Added Sense 3.0 lockscreen, USB connection menu, and camera (thanks to newtoroot for his ROMs, whose ROMs I pulled apart to learn how to get these to work);
Matte sense skin ("Magnolia" in skin picker), most of the "shiny" elements of sense UI have been matted for a more refined look;
Modded Friendstream, News and Twitter widgets to replace the (imho) hideous stock ones;
All apps Rosie button opens Maxim's AppFolders, a truly customizable and usable app drawer replacement (stock app drawer version available at bottom of post. Just backup and flash the zip. It's nothing fancy now, but I will make it pretty & depaginated soon);
Extra settings enabled in Quick Settings menu;
Right button mapped to browser (more mappings to come);
4-in-1 power menu;
Location and ADB statusbar icons hidden;
Percentage battery mod by chrisDDD;
Recent apps bar hidden and notifications pull down themed to fit Magnolia skin look;
Custom dialer
Speed and stability tweaks for smooth, snappy and stable performance;
Most apps commonly considered bloatware removed, with some handy apps added (e.g., Netflix, Google Voice, Astro, XDA, ROM Manager);
Removed HTC Car Panel and added Google CarHome;
Mor I am sure I forgot and much more to come...
Known Issues
The kernel defaults to 1.6 ghz, if you experience lockups, please use a CPU control app to turn the speed down. The next release will default to 1ghz.
Some elements still need to be themed.
Installation Instructions
ATTENTION: This ROM has been tested by me and others, but, like all custom ROMs, it mat have bugs or other issues I do not know about. Accordingly, you flash the ROM at your own risk, and I accept NO responsibility for any consequences that may arise for you, your phone or others as a result of flashing and/or using this ROM.
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP of your current ROM;
Download Magnolia here: http://bit.ly/ncZeck
Do a full wipe (factory data reset and format cache). If you do not perform a full wipe, you may experience bugs/issues, please do not post them;
Flash via ROM Manager or CWM Recovery;
Reboot and let it load up;
Go to menu-->personalize-->skins and select "Magnolia" skin and apply;
Enjoy!!!
While this ROM runs fine without a CPU manager, you need one to overclock. I use SetCPU at 1.267/245.
Leave feedback if you encounter bugs, things that can be improved.
Thanks & Credits
rmk for his stock ROM;
jcase for the kernel;
chrisDDD for the battery icons;
Maxim for his wonderful AppFolders program;
newtoroot for his ROMs, which I pulled apart to learn how to integrate the Sense 3.0 elements;
Adyenalyn for his ROM, which I pulled apart to figure out how to setup the extra Quick Settings;
If I forgot anyone, it was unintentional, and a PM will see the situation remedied...
Hope you enjoy the ROM!
Steve

DO IT!!! This is pretty sweet, i have only been running through the basic options and havent had any FC's yet.....
Everything synced up instantly...nice mesh of both worlds.
i will edit this if i find any issues.
EDIT- So i am going to stick with this rom for a bit...see if i can find anything but for now...
Email-Works

this is based on stock FC07 posted by calklin. still work in progress as i know other builds will be coming out soon.
Disclaimer
guys this assumes you know what your doing as development is still in the early stages and allot could go wrong so please if you dont know what your doing do not flash this. and as always i am not responsible if you brick your phone you flash at your own risk!!
whats the difference> first of all its holo themed {but not finished}
-build.prop tweaks
-deodexed
-Hotspot hack-(with working 4g)
-changed allot of ui {like power dialog}
-extended power menu (recovery and screenshot added!
-ICS launcher
-buildprop tweaks for 3g and wifi
-removed bloat
-removed tw launcher
-removed kies
-still allot to do to this rom.
-taking suggestions!
-live wallpapers including phase beam from cm9
-issues-
-the default wallpaper for lockscreen is not sized right u will have to set another lockscreen wallpaper.
-all the issues acompnied with FC07 still here for now
whats next?
-adding romcontrol to this puppy!!
-fixes
thaks too>>
-calklin for leaks and helping me with 3g hotspot!
-necrason as i ported 4g hotspot originally to gb from his files.
-sbrissen- for awesomeness in what he has done for cm9 for e4gt!
flashing instructions>
this has a modded stock fc07 kernel that allows u to use the stock recovery to flash stuff. as u guys know after fb27 this was not allowed anymore but thanks to sbrissen he showed me how to fix that. so either way it is stock recovery and is not able to make or restore backups. i use it all the time to flash between the new leaks (ics) only. have never used it to flash cm9 or gingerbread so youve been warned.
-coming from gingerbread or another rom
use sfhubs odin fb27 restore to get on fb27 then wipe data and cache and flash this rom.
-screenshots in second post.

Lol, it's all good Mad, I think I've resigned to the fact after four years that I'm basically an Alpha/Beta tester for you guys's work. I don't mind a few bugs. As long as I have texts and wifi I'm good. The theme is really sweet by the way, can't wait for updates!
Any chance for a flashable battery percentage mod?
I see potential in the face unlock...
Make it an "incognito" face check where u wouldn't even know it was taking a pic
Take an actual pic of failed attempts to unlock phone and store with a time stamp.
Can we blur the line with the status bar? maybe have the battery or time larger then the rest of the status bar? Instead of it just being a black squared off bar. Have it fade to translucent, where it looks like the Time, signal and alarm is just floating on top of the wallpaper. Over sized icons on a semi clear status bar seems awesome to me.

What do you get when you throw CM7 and WildChild in a blender, shake it all up for two minutes, and then pour it over some ice cubes and mint leaves in a cocktail glass? You get this beast.
I'm not sure if I'd call it a real ROM release... more like CM7 with hyper-themeing. I'm not sure if it should go under Themes, either.
Make no mistake, this is CM7.2 (June 16, 2012) and all credit for that goes to alquez (et al.). I merely provide the themeing at the UI, framework, and APK level.
I also integrate Google apps into the ROM, to save you the hassle.
Oh, and I also removed themes and live wallpaper because they are annoying, butt-ugly, and do nothing other than eat up valuable resources. You're welcome.
For the first boot, give it some time at the splash screen (about a minute?). This is normal.
I'm still not a huge fan of CM7, but if I had to use a version - this would be the one.
Beware, though:
1) The camera is still a piece of crap and nowhere near the quality that the HTC drivers provide. This is not my fault and is endemic to all versions of CM7 for the Wildfire S.
2) The Bluetooth bug will get you, sooner or later (it got me!).
If you turn on/off bluetooth rapidly (I think 2 or 3 times?), the system will reboot. Doh! Again, this is not my bug. This is a known issue with CM7.
3) The graphics rendering is just horrible. Once again, not my problem. I think this has been an issue with CM7 for WFS since Day 1. Compare the boot animation here to the boot animation in WildChild ROM. Good Lord.
Other than that... have fun with it!

I don't take it too seriously, and neither should you. I threw this together in under an hour. But for those hardcore CM7 fanatics, this just might be a good balance of CM7 core with WildChild good looks. But that's just me, what do I know?
Nice but i think that system theme should be transparent and if everything is blue-colored, battery should have this color too

It's not, but you (or I) can easily make it such.
Poke around these XDA forums; I'm pretty sure I saw a tutorial.
If you're stuck, lemme know and I'll throw together a flashable .zip for ya.
Enjoy the weekend,
Nice! Could you share just the lock screen? Looks brilliant but I have the rest of my rom the way I like it.
A small suggestion, change the clocktopia font with the one from ics. Looks much better. I'll post the font and a screenshot soon. See if you like it.

There is no "system theme". I'm also not sure what a "default theme chooser theme" is, but it sounds highly redundant and made up.

Thanks for your input.
I couldn't agree more about the crappy Clocktopia font (that's why it was the first thing I removed from the WildChild ROM). I love the ICS font much better, so I'll swap that out shortly. Thanks for sending it my way.
As for ripping out the lockscreen: CM7 doesn't have a modular lockscreen apk. It's embedded in the framework. I can easily detach the framework and make it a flashable zip for you (and others) but you run the risk of overwriting some of your other customized icons. However, if you used the UOT Kitchen to theme your CM7, then you can easily get your customizations back (and retain my fire ring lockscreen).
Stay tuned, and enjoy the weekend.
Very nice rom!
Tell me how did you change the App launcher button to that fire ring? Looks super cool.

I can confirm it works on the a510e (Marvel, GSM) but I would bet you a fresh apple pie that it runs on your CDMA as well.
I've read tons of reports from users that got CM7.2 (which is what this ROM effectively is) to run on their a510a (with the possible exception of a broken camera). Then again, if camera is important to you, you shouldn't be running CM7 anyway. Even if it recognizes your camera, the camera quality of CM7 is laughingly useless.
Buona fortuna,
Nice Rom !
Its something close to what I have always wanted to be in a ROM. Nice work but I have found a bug in this. Hope you can clear it.... The battery integration is not fine.... I did reflashing and all that stuff but found that the battery indicator calibrated 5% battery only and the ROM is a battery killer.... Rest everything is like a beauty....

Not yet, but nav bar options will come.
Not sure what my problem is but its happened a few times now.
I wiped everything. Ran super wipe and installed the rom. I forgot to flash gapps restarted in recovery and flashed the gapps zip in the op and I get a recovery boot loop. I also clear davik cache before I restart. It happened in the nightly kangs also. I also made sure I wasn't just restarting recovery
Is everyone using the stock kernel with this? What works best guys?
Is there anyway yo could incorporate the volume enhancer into the system files. I like this rom but i've noticed some others i've tested had them built in which would be great on this.

I'm using Lean Kernel 4.2.0, the 230 MHz minimum speed "experiment 1" version. Battery life is pretty good, not quite as good as Eclipse ICS. I find that at 180 MHz it isn't as smooth on the home screen with a live wallpaper. At 230 MHz minimum speed it's fine. I'm able to run the same low voltages I ran on ICS with Lean.
Lean Kernel is here: http://imoseyon.host4droid.com/exp/#!/view=details/lang=en/sort=na

Hopefully that works. I can probably go much lower on the top speeds, but I'm not running overclocked ATM.

Anyone else having problems with G+ instant upload? It won't let me turn it on; says it must be enabled under sync settings, but there's no option for it there.

I've run Franco 222 and 223 with pretty good results. But, I've never tried stock, so I can't compare. I guess I should try out lean or trinity, I'm just comfortable with Franco and like the available tweaks.
I'm running trinity and so far so good.

Anyone else periodically losing your Google services connection? My bars will go grey for a few seconds, then go blue again. Sometimes it's when the device is sleeping, sometimes it's mid use. *shrugs

after you turn on airplane mode, can you actually still open and use browser?
The icon still shows as if it's on,.but if you waita bit, then go into battery use graph, you will see the line for phone signal is blank. It's also a bug in cm10 and other roms that the 3g/4g icon shows but it is actually off.

saw this just the other day.. Thought it was interesting, Downloading now! Thanks
Indeed thank you for posting. Wanted to say not a full day yet but so far so good.
It's always nice to try something new out now and then. This ROM included VVM
which for a CM hybrid or any CM based ROM is a first for me. It works too!
USB OTG works somewhat. Plugged in one usb stick and said it was damaged.
Different phone with TW no issue with the same usb stick. Haven't tested MHL yet.
So far battery life has been above my expectation. Still need to reformat
my ext. SD and give a week and see how battery goes. Again thanks for posting :good:

Not booting for me. I have a "newer" S3. Am I screwed until the boot-fix is applied to this?

Are you able to get a logcat?
Does cm10.2 boot for you?

Ran this for the last few days. For the most part, it's been very nice but I have run into a few things. Mainly it seems when running certain games or when connected to my car via bluetooth for music playback it will just completely freeze. The audio will still play but the screen freezes and I cannot back, hit home or long press home to kill it. Because of how much I have to be in the car I am switching back to plain CM 10.2 for now but will be watching and testing this going forward. Thanks for the hard work and really excited for what this might end up as

Looks great I was hoping for a flashing weekend.
Not yet. Sorry. I did wipe and return to stock then flashed plain cm 10.1. I wiped again and reflashed this back over that and everything seems much better if not near perfect now though. It may have been something weird with coming back from a 4.3 ROM to 4.2.2(even though I always wipe and go from scratch.

This seems to be a problem I also have. Flashing stock, CM 10.1 and again Chameleon. Being a few days now,
has it seemed to help any or has the freezing come back? Curious because I would never have thought to do that.
Though I know rom's sometimes need to be flashed a certain way. Any feedback would be great.
Other than this issue I have been getting pretty good battery life. Call quality is good. Overall it's a pretty good rom.
