[APP] MMS.apk Blue/Black Transparent Themed !!EC05 and EG22!!

Alright, now that I have confirmed tests of both versions working on their respective versions I will release this to everyone interested.
First off, I need to give props where they are do.
Thanks to tpike for helping me out with putting the user input into the script file so i could do a flashable zip!!
Thanks to RandomKing for letting me play with his themed MMS.apk's to create this one!
I WILL be working on other color schemes when I get time.. (work 45 hrs a week and have two little boys at home) so i don't have a ton of time.

EC05 Froyo apparently this is not working.. need to look into it!! if you download, remove the Swype.apk from the zip!

Hope you guys enjoy! I have a lot of things I would like to do as far as themes and app modding but just not enough time. I am going to try to tackle a few MMS color schemes, then move to matching swype things and 'inverting' apps like gmail to be transparent black.

i did that to all 14 or so 'keyboard' PNGs in 20 minutes found a super easy way in photoshop, w00t w00t..

Heck, at this rate you'll have a full theme(and with that color scheme and quality, it'd be beautiful!!)

ok, i decided to totally redo it already. haha.. looks nicer now..
will have it in a flash able EG22 .zip with the MMS momentarily.

SHOULD be a working ZIP for EC05 also.. but can't confirm until someone tests it!
EC05 MMS + Swype Flash able ZIP apparently this is not working.. need to look into it!! if you download, remove the Swype.apk from the zip!

Flashed over revolution revolted rom, messaging bubbles look good buut getting fc's on the swipe, tried unchecking gb keyboard only checking swipe under settings but still fc's. Maybe cause I already had gb keyboard installed? Great job on the bubbles......lookin good! Still let's me use gb keyboard.

I don't know what could be different between the roms to cause Swype to FC..
i wouldn't think the GB keyboard would cause the issue.
did you clear the cache and dalvik before flashing it?
i am not familiar with that rom.. EG22? deodexed? trying to think of other things that may be different causing issues on other roms.

it is deodexed, but i didnt clear cache and delvick......ill reflash the rom and try without the swipe (i dont really like using swipe anyway).....there is a blue themed gb keyboard somewhere here at xda.....wonder if that would work with your messaging bubbles?
(stupid me, the kb works just not the swipe.)

o yay... GB keyboard uses patch 9 for the keys... :grumble grumble: its good and bad.. makes for harder initial theming, but much much MUCH easier to redesign the keyboard..
I can't even find the stock GB keyboard i just installed on my phone, so i guess ill start with that apk and see what heppens..
might take a little longer to get up though because of the patch 9 deal!
I am going to totally make it custom though, wont be using that design or the stock GB design for the button style!!

I only modified a few pngs but it looks pretty good in my opinion.. I successfully flashed it too eg 22 and it works!

yes, they are seperate. let me update the linksfor EC05, because i put the ported swype(which apparently isnt working in the drop box link for the MMS.apk for EC05..
the MMS.zip for EC05 is now JUST the MMS.
the link posted for the GB keyboard is JUST the GB keyboard.
I think I am going to try my hand at starting a custom black/red theme for EG22.

Little bit bright but can't really tell what it will look like on the computer but I think it is alright. Definitely want to tone down the swype red and the top message background but test looks nice. Also going to do the red black to the gingerbread keyboard!

Hello, my name is Phoenix6, but you can call me Jon. I've been a member for almost 2 years now, but have never posted. I am a graphic deisnger by profession and I've decided I wanted to give back to the community and so I created this theme.
A few things I want to point out first...
This theme is for DeWizzed 2.5.1 & Up (Until 3.0 comes out), Digital Warfare (Up to 2.2a, waiting on 2.3 confirmation) and Juggs 5.0
Everything is from 100% Scratch, the only thing that may look familiar is the loading spinner, my inspiration for that was the Crysis battery mod
I am very busy and have very little time to be on here, update, port, etc, but I will try to answer questions when I am able to, which again, may not be often. You may ask for anything you want added, but if I don't have the time, I apologize for not being able to deliver.
This theme and all of my work in it, is OPEN SOURCE, FREE TO EVERYONE, please kang kang kang if you WANT to, but all I ask is a tiny bit of credit in return, I did work VERY hard on this, learning how to do all of the changes I've made, etc.
I've changed the battery, connection icons, wifi, loading spinner, and much more, but there is still some things to be done, and you may notice them throughout your experience with this theme.

Back in the day (couple years ago anyways) clock color used to be in services.jar.
Look here. Not sure if it's still there or not but worth a look?

Clock color how-to has been sent to you via PM... Per your request via PM... =)...
If anyone wants to try it for themselves... Here is how...
Decompile framework-res.apk... Then go to framework-res\res\values and find the "colors" xml. Open it (duh) and scroll to the bottom of the xml... Find:
<color name="status_bar_clock_text">#ffbebebe</color>
Change to whatever hex you want (ffe03d00 should be close to the orange)... Save... Compile... Then its look at my clock color change yay time! =)
Clearly my notes are for those that know how to use apktool/apkmanager...

The signal bar has a shadow. Is it meant to be like that? Other than that..Its working fine so far on tdj's digital anarky ROM.thanks!

Alexia - I actually did change that, didn't work :/ if you want to tear down the files and look maybe I missed something?
As for the signal bars, they aren't your usual bars, they are 4 vertical bars, all same width. It's not a shadow, there's a shade of white over them to give a glassy look, I was trying it out and I liked it, instead of climbing bars. Thanks for all the feedback!
I MAY do an accurate battery, haven't decided yet, if I do it'll be a while out, sorry :/

If possible, when you have time, port to Thursdays rom so the clock stays in the middle. No biggie, when and if you have time.

Its made from dewizzed, I flashed on Thursdays rom and all's good except the clocks not in the middle anymore. Backup and flash,if it works post success and if not restore. No biggie

How to install:

Actually this sounds right up my alley. I love the TouchWiz contacts app. I like sliding to left and right to do what I want, but everything I like the ICS version of.
A nice Hybrid AOSP/TouchWiz ROM will do very well here I think. I'll be watching this one.

not flaming or anytging man. I really appreciate more and more people building roms dude so thanks. but ot would be nice to have the modem in a seperate zip on this page. that way if we already have it we dont need to flash it. but thanks man.

no I dont personally because it could cause problems if its a bad flash. notice every other rom out there besides tar files have it as a seperate. flash. must be a reason dont you think. also if someone wanted to say have theirek02 modem cuz it works better. they have to reinstall it. just added steps. new modems sont always work the best especially if it a leaked modem. imho

-In order to utilize the white & transparent statusbars, either use the included Zeam Launcher or Go Launcher!
-Until we put out a non-CRT animation version, to avoid having the reverse screen bug occur, set the animations to anything BUT NORMAL by going into: SETTINGS>LOCKSCREEN SETTINGS>GENERAL>WINDOWS ANIMATIONS>(if it is already set to a NON-NORMAL option such as FAST, toggle it to OFF and then back to whatever option you'd like, BESIDES NORMAL )
- If you are getting hot boots, change the LOCKSCREEN to either version of the ROTARY LOCKSCREEN.

Create a TRANSPARENT Statusbar version *Has been created and will be posted later on tonight!
Fix up some of the icons to match better *The signal bars now match the rest of the ICS Blue icons up on the statusbar!

Quite sure of will if not there is a great app out now call Foxfi on the market for rooted or non rooted phone. It also works in Infastructure mode...Take a peak

quick theme i put together with the help of Walix01 and based off of Alexia Whitehurst's ICS port with a lot of modifications ive done
im just getting back into themeing, some might know my themes from MIUI on the Sony X10, i even have one in MIUI's theme manager
i havent had this beast of a phone for very long, so this is just a test run as doing themes for this phone is a lot different than what im used to
will be doing way more themes once we get MIUI running on the skyrocket and hopefully ICS for sure!!!

Im also currently on Warfare, im not sure how easy it is, any chance of a Warfare version? I believe it has a couple extra toggles on the notification bar which has made me not try most of the themes for it. I like this theme alot and have been wanting to do a reflash but would prefer to stay on Warfare if possible

Well it works but noticed a few things
It uses the Juggernaut Toggles and not the warfare ones. The flashlight button isnt as responsible with the Juggernaut toggles as the Warfare ones. Its also missing one of the warfare ones for screen timeout.
Also not sure if this is a bug, but while charging when its counting up the numbers, it counts up to Full, kinda looks weird idk.
Oh, just realized power menu from WF is broken to. so i had to battery pull to restore.
So i guess my main request is regular clock position and WF toggles.
Looks freaking awesome tho!

ohhh ok, then i guess its just hte other bugs. I read that Warfare is being updated on friday though..so if you do plan to do a port..might be worth waiting.
