YouTube won't playa on 1x

I don't know if it has been post before but my YouTube app only play on WiFi on evo but on Eris plays fine on 1x one ting I notice is that when on Eris 1x the quality is low so i think if there any way to lower definition on evo YouTube when on 1x it may play YouTube

It should play on 1x. It probably just takes an incredibly long time for the video to load up. It takes long enough for me on 3G.

No italia won't play it start load and when it start playing an error pop out saying that the video can't be play and it is only on mobile because on WiFi plays perfect

Yes, I have 1X connection only and it wont play on 2 units so far

1x shouldnt matter
as long as you get web you should get youtube if it is not working you might need to double check advanced settings by pressing ##3282# you need spc
if further help is need let me know

YouTube HD issues

I remembered the YouTube app a few month ago would display HD video even on 3G, but now, even with a 6mbps 3G connection , it only displays HQ option instead of HD. And the quality is not good enough. How do I solve this problem?

Depends on the video. Is it the exact same video?

Try using some old youtube.apk and don't let it to be updated it Play Store. There was similar thread some time ago, and i think someone even mentioned since which [youtube] version this option has been removed.

[Q] You tube app constantly buffers on wifi

I have att note 2 with stock rom but rooted. I was having issues with old router at the house so i bought new netgear dual band router. And I have comcast cable with about 22 meg down and 6 meg up so this should be enough to play hd on a phone.
My issue is when i play a youtube vid thats hd it plays for 10 seconds then buffers like the bandwidth isnt enough. My note 1 played these vids in hd no problem. Wifes gs3 plays them no prob. My friend has gn2 also and has the same issue with buffering. However when i kill all recent apps and clear ram and then restart phone it will play the vid easily with no buffering. Then a couple vids later it starts not loading fast enough again. I also have app cashe cleaner that i use about once a week to clear the cash of all apps.
It seems like this happened after one of the last major re-design updates.
Just wondering if anyone has the same problem or a solution?

Playstore and YouTube going slow?

This has been bugging me for awhile and I thought I had it fixed with flashing the Avatar ROM which is just buttery On stock 4.1 and 4.2 I ran into the annoying problem that on my 10mbs WiFi which gives me that speed at minimum, that YouTube and the play store would take forever to load images. And when I tried to download an app it would get stuck at the loading screen. Once it got past that part, into the actual downloading part it would download super fast. YouTube takes forever to show images on my WiFi also. If I click on a video it will show completely white and take forever to load the related videos and comments. However once it gets to the actual video, there is no lag ever with HD. I watch videos without buffering.
When I first flashed the ROM the play store was crazy fast at least for me being used to waiting forever and YouTube loaded very quickly as well. So I assumed it was a ROM issue after that. The following day I begin to notice the same issue with failed image loading and connection time outs. I'm not really sure what to think with these speed test scores. Anybody else run into this problem?

Youtube 5.0 - 2G problem

My official app of youtube say UNSUPPORTED VIDEO everytime i try to see one video with 2G/3G/H connection
But the same videos work great in wifi connection.
Why? Any solution?

you could search for a older version of youtube in hopes that that will fix your problem, honestly i have Wifi issues, shows the whole video is loaded but i keep getting the loading screen :/
doesnt help that There is no way to notify google of this problem (well there is but google will ignore you :/)
