Ive tried some of the google wallet fixes without success. The error i contiue to recieve is regarding invalid release keys. Has anyone had success getting google wallet working on SGN?
I think in order for u to attempt to install wallet correctly u need to install before phone goes through initial setup.
So do factory reset in recovery and the flash the ICS Google wallet zip that is floating around (nexus s forums). Works on ICS for nexus s. Do it back to back. No reboots between factory reset and flashing .zip file

Did you get it working?
I have reset my phone a few times today through the rooting/bootloader process and would rather not do it again without this being confirmed
Google Wallet/NFC was one of the key reasons I got my GN and would love to get it working
Backing up now and will try after. There seems to be a few versions of it out there. I'm going to do Google Wallet Fix v5 and report back.
I'd try the ICS version (at least it works for nexus s ICS roms) here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311072
I keep getting a null pointer exemption on
Source File: NfcAdapterExtras.Java
Source Class: Com.android.nfc_extras.NfcAdapterExtras
I've noticed there is not Nfc.odex in /system/app...not sure if this has anything to do with it.
No luck on the stock rom, but being that I don't have the rom to reinstall, its hard to test.
In the mean time, LukeGB got it going with the MoDaCo custom rom.

Which ROM did you come from?
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
BAMF.
I did all the wipes needed before flashing.
or am i missing something
Are you getting an error message? Try unlinking your Google account from settings, wiping data from play store, reboot and open play store. You'll have to type in your Google info again but usually fixes it

well, at first is says 'unable to get info' or something like that, then it managed to start downloading but would get stuck at 1 or 2 percent.
also, the google play homepage shows verizon apps, i downloaded another gapps package for xxxxO0C gNex, but still show verizon..
I don't get mine either. Now I use app2zip and flash my old ones in recovery
*This Jedi master be a Ninj-ESS*
Reflashed the rom last night, and everything seems to be working fine now :cyclops:
also, in every rom i've tried, none seems to have vibration on phone calls or received messages...
Yeah, i went a different route and tried a restore. Lost root and haven't been able to get it back either.

Hi guys,I searched the forums but cant find a a post retaing to the problem im having so I hope this is in the right area. I just rooted my S3 last night had no problems. I installed google wallet following the instructions that are in these forums,I followed them to a T cleared my caches, flashed the 2 files (the apk,and nfc,lib fix) and changed my prop files. Everything installed perfectly,I could add my credit cards and even when I log into google wallet acount online I can see I have a device connected to my account. My problem is when I go to use my pay pass it wont work,I tried it with my phone unlock on the homescreen,I tried it with the google wallet app open. Nothing! I tried 5 different stores today thinking maybe a pay pass terminal was broken but no of them responded. I know my NFC still works because I can still use my tectiles cards. Am I missing something? Or need to flash another file I missed? Any help would be great thanks.
Im on ATT running stock rom with clockworkmod.
You most likely didn't miss anything. It just doesn't work with some of the ota updates..
Do more research but If you can confirm that.. Flash to an older version of 4.0.4..
I'm stock and haven't ran any ota updates and it runs fine.

Hi, I have all the latest installations of the SkyNote 8.2 and Google Wallet installed according to instructions. But, it produces an error when I launch it...states: "Device Not Ready - Wallet is unable to proceed until this device is fully initialized. Make sure the device has network access and try rebooting if the problem persists" I have rebooted the device several times, and it has working network access ( tried both cell network and wifi ). Please help let me know what I can do to fix this issue. What do I need to do to fix this?
i figured it out

i figured it out, i had to go into android os after installing the first skynote google wallet piece, set up my google wallet account....then, reboot into recovery to load the second google wallet piece for skynote rom, and then everything was fine and tested google wallet to be good.
:good:

Hey dude. i have the exact same issue. I have already loaded the finalizing, and restore everything through titanium backup. my google account is fully associated with the phone. Do i need to fully reflash the ROM, or just do the wallet remove flash, then start with step one of google wallet?

I had to fully reflash. Just in case anyone sees this in the future while searching for answers to Wallet issues.
Really enjoying my (problem free) Nexus 7 2013, but stock Android has some missing features compared to CM10 that is on my phone. So last night I installed CM 10.2 (8/24), and 8/13 gapps for android 4.3. Also put in a custom kernel (bulletproof). Everything set up, and then part way through installing all my apps, google play stopped with a 920 error on all the rest of the apps, and refused to do anything more.
Redownloaded both CM 10 and gapps, erased, reflashed (no custom kernel this time), same error 920 partway through the downloads.
A new CM10.2 build (8/26) was available this morning, so downloaded that, redownloaded the gapps again, and flashed. Almost all of the apps got downloaded this time, although a few had an error 923 (manually downloaded those without additional issue right away). But right at the end of the auto downloads, the play store crashed (application unexpectedly closed), and when I went back to it, error 920s again.
Some research online lead to a few possibilities:

Cleared cache on play store and play services. No help.
Titanium Backup won't find my old backups, despite walking through the instructions at the CM10.2 thread. So I can't restore the Android ID as someone suggested.
At one point I completely removed my google account, the data in the play store app, the download manager, and play services. That worked, sort of - I could download apps without error 920, but it decided that all of my previously installed apps were installed from somewhere other than the play store, so to get them back to normal state required un/reinstalling all of them. I started over instead.

This has a very detailed fix, that involves installing an updated version of the play store and a different play account. But I was already on the latest version of the play store (tried installing the same apk over top, but it didn't make any difference), and the secondary google account worked to download things, but didn't fix the first one.

While writing this post, I saw the suggestion in the s3 thread to wipe cache / dalvik and repair permissions from recovery. Tried it as a last resort, and suddenly I have full functionality again. Not sure why that fixed it, when I had done those steps as part of the install, but there you go.
Thought I would go ahead and post this as fixed in case anyone else had the same issue. All the results I found searching for this problem were for other devices, or other errors for this device. Hopefully my story and link collection will be useful to someone else.
I just got my Nexus 7 (2013), "N7b" for short?, anyway, when I started it and I began downloading all my apps, it shipped about 50 with error 920. Then it started getting them all. After that it seemed episodic. For a while they would update, for a while they would error.
I also updated the apps on some of my other devices and was also getting an occasional error downloading the apps. So, i think this is a problem with google's server, not our apps or ROMs.
Works with GNex as well.

Thanks. This worked for me and my Galaxy Nexus after I clean flashed AOKP MR-1 Milestone 2, and got the errors as my apps were downloading again.
Worked for Galaxy Tab 2!
This also worked for my Galaxy Tab 2 running CM10.2. Thanks for the post.
I took my GNex in the evening from the Assistance Center where they changed my broken MicroUSB port.
They flashed on it 4.0.4 ICS and they unlocked the bootloader.
I update the system with OTA to 4.3 stock.
In order to try the Xposed Framework I used the Toolkit to take root access.
Then, connecting my Google account, when Play Store started to install all of my apps it prompted out an infinite list of error:
first (403)
then (920)
Flashed two times 4.3 stock via Toolkit, locked and unlocked, rooted and unrooted but... nothing.
Also tried to delete my account, delete play store data, delete framework data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik... nothing works.
Phone is uselss in this way... so if anyone has figured out what to do, please let me know.

I seem to have the same problem. I can't update nor download apps from the play store because I keep getting 403 errors.
Everything was fine until I flashed CM REMIX rom. That's when I started getting the errors. However nobody is complaining about anything like this on their thread. I've also tried using different gapps packages.
Could it be a server side thing? My other devices seem to be working fine on the same network...

I saw on another android board that this is happening also on some brand new Nexus 5, activated just today.
Almost sure it's a server side thing at this point.

If it is, I hope it gets fixed soon, coz my phone barely has any apps right now...
If it's not a server thing I'll try to flash my old rom to see if it helps.

Since you are flashing the official 4.3 rom, I really think the problem will just go away by it self (hopefully very soon)
Edit: It started working now all by it self!
