Polaris Office

Can anyone assist me in finding the correct lib files to make Polaris work on juggernaut? Its not included in the rom and when I push to system/app it installs but FC when trying to create or open a document.. thanks

You will need to pull libpolarisoffice_Clipboard.so and libpolarisoffice.so from a stock rom containing it, and push them to system/lib ....

Use the file app to select the apk and install it.simple.done.

Thats the apk from the stock rom.
I just copied it to sdcard,cuz one of these roms didnt have it.
But thats stock.
Shouldnt have to add any libs.
I didnt.just installed as an apk.

Its weird the stock apk won't install on certain roms.. or it will but won't open files - just force close. After doing research I thought correct libs were needed, but never actually got it working.

I posted a link for the lib file you need on the first page. Without that, as someone pointed out, the app will force close as soon as you try to open any documents.. There's only like 15 posts in this thread, and everything you need to know and download was provided in like the first 5.. Come on, people

At this point it only integrates with box.net

Awesome beats plugin?

I'm not sure how to put it on my s3.. either extract it from a Rom that has it or is there a cmw flashable .zip floating around that I can't seem to find? Thanks guys

I couldn't seem to find the one that was in the sprint s3 forums but this one should work fine for you depending on witch ROM your using.

I've tried it on two boost phones before (marquee and galaxy prevail) and found that volume + didn't really do what I wanted it to do. Then I tried an equalizer app from Google play and it was great. But awesome beats is spot on. Not like the beats audio drivers that I used to try that made all my equalizers fc on me.it's got a great ui and makes a great sound

Its like saying "remind me"....If you tell GN "Please tell me" anything it will set an alarm...just like "remind me".

Okay I have read instructions for our devices and I'm kind of confused. Do we need to just download the. Apk file or the zip or both? Do we flash the zip in recovery and that's it? I read the instructions and I'm sorry if I'm a little slow but it just wasn't all that clear to me.

I used the M6 file from this post on that thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29756226&postcount=2856 It's working great so far. The only issue I've found is that you can't exit using the back button. You need to press the home button to exit.
Also, even though the instructions say its for CWM, it's not. You can flash it using any recovery.
Download the M6 file, copy it to your SD card, reboot into recovery and flash it, then reboot and poof you're done.

Just flash the new version.

Just flashed on FreeGSM R5, works flawless.

Me too, working perfect!!

Okay how do I remove this if I don't like it? It's pretty cool but seems so finicky to me.

Turned my double press home button to voice dial and not a voice anymore, I didn't like it. Flashed my TWRP back up and I'm normal again. Good luck!

i pulled these from the dump. this is NOT a flashable zip! just download and transfer over to your media folder or pick and choose what you want. enjoy! :good:
if theres something else someone wants/needs let me know...if you request something, chances are i may not have tested it myself. in any case, the most appropriate thing to do to see if it will work is to push to /system/app, install like a normal apk, change permissions and reboot

carp, theres supposed to be a lib file for the gallery. im going to take down the gallery link and reupload it with the lib. will do the same for the camera just in case. there are 5 for the camera, so im not sure which one or all is needed. i cant seem to find one for the music player

All, I tried renaming everything to match what was being replaced. Then I did not rename anything. I tried installing them normally. I tried everything I could think off. I'm guessing it's because the note 2 runs on JB on the rom I'm on is ICS. I'll try them tomorrow with one of our leaks.

huh, well i'll do some digging when i get a chance to see if we cant get them working. if anyone has any suggestions, chime in!

Is the gallery a flash-able zip? How do you install the gallery apk? Do you push it to sytem>app along with the odex file and should I or do I have to back up the original gallery apk?

I can get the gallery to show videos but not the pics, anyone have any luck looking into this more??

S-Voice From GS4

Here is the new S-Voice APK from the GS4, credit due to sammobile

Just install it like a normal APK, replace the existing S-Voice if prompted. May want to do a Nandroid prior to trying this. I have only tried this on JB, probably WILL NOT work on ICS!

It just installs like a normal APK. I;m not sure of all the new features, I know they optimized the UI, not sure what all they changed.

As far as I can see from playing 5 minutes with it, only the driving mode is different.
Makes sense since they mentionned on the launch of the S4 that the app was now called S Voice Drive (or something like that).

I'll rehost it for you on my own server - so we don't have to keep dancing with file sharing hosts..
I have unmetered bandwidth so we shouldn't have to worry about links dying and what not..

It's just a regular old apk file... Just install it like you would any other app!

How about group play? Did anyone port that over to s3 yet?

I pulled these from the system dump. I have a feeling that the AccuWeather app doesn't work on out phones. There was only the weather.apk and the weather deamon.apk.
Since it was a odexed ROM did that mean they had to have their odex file included and only worked on a odexed ROM ?
