Ok I have done some looking on XDA and it looks like the Epic 4G 1500 mah batteries can be used in the Epic Touch 4G (with less battery life).
I also have the Epic 4g 1500 mah spare battery charging kit (one for work and for home), which seem to let me charge the Epic Touch 4g 1800 batteries.
My question(s) is will using the Epic 4G 1500 mah battery in the Epic Touch hurt the phone?
Will charging the Epic Touch 1800 mah battery in my Epic 4g Battery Charging Kits hurt the 1800 mah battery? I ask as it seems that Samsung is selling a specific Battery Charging Kit just for the Epic Touch?
I like to have a spare battery and charger at home and at work just for emergencies. I would only use the 1500 mah batteries in the Epic Touch just for emergencies while I charge the 1800 mah battery. But if i don't have to buy new batteries and chargers, that would be AWESOME!
I see in the xda forums people are doing this, I just want to know if it is OK to do so? Thanks in advance.

I see the stock EVO 3D battery is over 1700 mAh per Engadget's review. Does anyone know if that battery will work in the Thunderbolt, much like the myTouch 4G battery does?
It looks bigger to me but I really wish it would

So the mytouch battery works on the tb if so hows the battery life compared to the stock?

If you want a larger sized battery that doesn't need a different back seidio sells a 1700 mah battery. You can get it from Amazon and other online stores.

And it's going to have exactly the same kind of life as the stock 1400mah battery, Seidio is known for misstating their batteries actual capacity. Not worth the extra money.

+ a billion times infinity x five. If not worse battery life. This is not an opinion.
I just switched from the Evo to the Thunderbolt.... it definatly is not the same battery. The Evo battery is bigger in size than the Thunderbolt.
No it wont work but you can get the battery in the eris lol.

htc should of gave us at least 1700mAh in the tbolt.
Is this a petition? Can we start one? I would LOVE something bigger...anything!

Cuz this guy knows for a fact that it definitely fits the epic.

Except I don't believe him and assume its like all SGSII batterys, taller.
it does....i just got a hands on from my friend at sprint. He also has a the first epic and took out the battery and showed me. He is stoked cause he said he still loves his epic and will still use it but with the epic 4g touch battery. I hope this helps you. As for me Epic 4g touch is for me!
More reports of "it is the same size/it fits/it works" are rolling in. Keep watching that link I posted. Looks like I may have been wrong.
Curious if the same can be said the other way around. Would save me the cost of an extra battery and charger. Yes, the Epic battery holds less juice, but having it as a backup to what I hear is already very good life would probably work out pretty well.
I will be using one of these new batteries in my epic1 for sure.
Sweet, guess I'll keep my batteries and charging kit
This is great news for epic users!
Yes, I own both and the dimensions are the same. The epic touch battery is just a higher capacity
Does anyone else notice it's harder to get the 1500mah battery in the Epic Touch? It looks like the bottom grove(s) are a little different. Everything else is the same, it's just a tight fit. It works though.
Thats what she said.
The external battery charger that Sprint sold for the epic works for the epic touch too.

Does anyone also have a Galaxy S i9000 to confirm if the new Epic's 1800mAh battery will fit / work in the SGS1 ?
Appreciate your feedback. Tq
So I am planning on getting a new phone, and am wondering if anyone knows if the epic 4g's battery will fit/work with the sprint version of the gs2, I know it is too small for the t-mobile version, but I can't chose between the att and sprint versions, and I have a ton of spare batteries for my epic 4g that I don't really use.
Well I'm using a S2 battery in my epic. The epic touch battery works fine in the OG epic. So I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around. Although the lesser mah battery from the OG epic would be a slight downgrade over the stock gs2 battery.

It is a few microns thinner so it may be loose and easily dislodged. You may need a piece of matchbook cover in there to prevent that.

great, thanks! also, does anyone have anker or extended batteries for the sprint sg2?
does epic 4G touch has the same battery as SGS2 ?? my epic battery sucks, and it difficult to find original E4GT in my country
Try a battery by anker, works great. They sell on amazon and you can use the Fascinate model batteries for our phone.

thanks a lot mate
Hi, I am looking for an extended battery for sprint s2. The capacity could be something like 3800mAh or more. Which one is mostly recommended, considering performance and price? Any link for that please? Thanks.
