I see the stock EVO 3D battery is over 1700 mAh per Engadget's review. Does anyone know if that battery will work in the Thunderbolt, much like the myTouch 4G battery does?
It looks bigger to me but I really wish it would

So the mytouch battery works on the tb if so hows the battery life compared to the stock?

If you want a larger sized battery that doesn't need a different back seidio sells a 1700 mah battery. You can get it from Amazon and other online stores.

And it's going to have exactly the same kind of life as the stock 1400mah battery, Seidio is known for misstating their batteries actual capacity. Not worth the extra money.

+ a billion times infinity x five. If not worse battery life. This is not an opinion.
I just switched from the Evo to the Thunderbolt.... it definatly is not the same battery. The Evo battery is bigger in size than the Thunderbolt.
No it wont work but you can get the battery in the eris lol.

check this out ! a lot of improve than the OEM battery
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Anker-T-m...ccessories&hash=item33732f9f1a#ht_2425wt_1396
they have the best battery..... wall charge really fast like 2.5 hours . i have been using for 2 months and no problem
anker are known to be good batteries, but you should get the galaxy nexus battery that you can pick up from the verizon store. The OEM batteries have NFC capabilities the others do not. OEM should last longer too even though the mah are different.

Yup, and $25
Been on the VZ nexus extended battery for a month - wow it is great. Much better than I expected. Took off the label paper, trimmed off the plastic end caps to the battery height (with a razor blade). Left on the NFC antenna, but can get it thinner by cutting that off. My stock cover barely bulges. It's been $35 at Amazon (Samsung 2100 mah extended with cover) or at Verizon (lucked out when it was $25)
I just ordered the anker 2050 from ebay for 9.99 shipped.
I dont use nfc and our phones lack the secure element needed for g00gle wallet. I also wanted the back cover to fit correctly without having to modify the battery, and 50mha isnt a big difference.
Hands down nexus...

The better the system the more battery it Burns, I app pose that if the processors and memory were less consumptuous then maybe we would be better off. Honestly even if you are turning off certain process patterns or psych out the brain it won't help, the won't be such a thing as a perfect phone unless you built it yourself, but unless the boards and parts are sold to secure in sockets your out of luck.

I've been having major battery issues still even with new Rom and kernel so i decided to buy this nexus battery from the Verizon store. is this the correct one?!? i keep reading everyone talk about the extended one but i did not purchase that one. the salesman told me 39.99 but when they rang me up they said i get a discount and it ended up only being 20.00.
should i get the extended or will this be good enough?

Mugen Power 2300 mAh Slim Extended Battery <--- this is the exact answer you are looking for. Provides an additional 10% or so of usage to your phone without bulking up the size. At 40$~ ish it is slightly expensive, but it is the best solution for those looking for a better battery without bulking =)

Sorry to let you know but you just got ripped off. I bought a "2600" and a "2900" maH battery from eBay as well in the past, only to find out that they last me around 8 hours with about 1 hour and 30 minutes of screen on time - the true mAh in these batteries is around 1400-1700, if I had to take a guess. You can peel off the sticker on the 2900 battery you ordered and it will probably say the true capacity of the battery imprinted onto it. As I said in one of my earlier posts, the only "real" slim extended batteries are the mugen 2300, anker 2200, and hyperion 2200, in which the mugen comes out on top from personal experience =)

FTFY.
There is no way you believe that a random Chinese company making deals on eBay has somehow figured out a magical unicorn battery technology that allows them, not only to completely outdo Samsung in capacity, but also undercut them in price.

Unfortunately there aren't any that don't make the phone look pregnant. I think you can find 1950mah batteries but that's not gonna give you more than an extra hour I would think.

The 2650 is certainly a fake. I saw those too, gold battery or something like that. I tried the Andida 2300 and got a little longer battery life but it crapped out after a month or two causing random reboots.

There is actually a 2000 mAh battery out there. I bought it myself, but as other people said, if you do the math, it only adds about an hour, so it wasn't really worth it. If you really want an extended battery, go for the ones with the extra bulk, or buy two 1800 mAh batteries to swap during the day.
How about 2500mah Galilio or 2520mah "Sporting Persistence" on ebay?

Agreed, the Anker batteries (two pack with charger for less than $20) has been great. I have been using them for about 2 months now and they are doing just fine.
I have to agree about the Anker batteries as well. Be careful about what you buy off ebay though. I bough a 3 pack of supposedly 1800mAh batteries off Ebay and they were all ****. I compared the physical size of the batteries with the oem one and they were all thinner and lighter. Get the Anker ones. I bought an Anker one about a month ago and so far it's working great.
Yeah I just unwrapped a cheap 1800mah battery I got off ebay and the markings underneath indicated its a 1500. Its also skinnier than stock.
I just picked up some EzoPower brand batteries and they appear to be real 1800. Need to give them a few more charging cycles to get a better idea.
