Hey guys... I'm using the version of the HTC IME keyboard that is included in Calkulin's rom (which is great), but it has a divided spacebar with a ".com" on half of it.
I used to use an HTC IME keyboard on another device that had a wide spacebar, with no ".com" on it, and I am wondering if anyone could kindly point me in the right direction for that keyboard that would be compatible with the E4GT. I keep hitting the ".com" when I'm trying to space.
Thanks for the help!
Smart keyboard, better keyboard or ai keyboard (to my knowkedge). You can adjust the size and length and the keyboard
Thanks guys. I actually started using the ICS keyboard and I'm really liking it.

Did anyone testing THIS Keyboard and get it running?
It is the XT9-one taken from the leaked upcoming FW. Works, but I don't like it. Take FingerKeyboard
Is there a One Finger Keyboard like the 1 -9 keyboard on a phone in fingerkeyboard 2.1?
Does anyone know an one finger keyboard for Xperia with a little bit bigger keys like htc keyboard?
I like this keyboard. It works very well for one handed texting. It helps to have screen taps on to be sure your finger press registers.

There are none. You just use the optical trackpad instead.
Thanks for the prompt reply, but I am very clumsy and wonder if there is a keyboard out there I could load to get cursor keys back?
All the best,
Sam.
Use this:

You can map the volume button to move cursor
smarter keyboard pro allows you to have the keyboard arrows
in fact it's so good that when using the normal keyboard, you can just swipe in an direction to have the arrow keys displayed
also provides you with the stock android keyboard
would recommend
Even without holding the Evo, I can go ahead and imagine that i'd prefer a landscape keyboard without the arrows to the right that htc_ime includes with the EVO. Being unfamiliar with sense, will the standard android keyboard be available to be set as default? or will the desire keyboard be available to flash over the existing one? Thanks
I have always disliked the arrows too. Sometimes they are hit by accident while typing. It's quite annoying. And this was on my HD2.
However I will probably use better keyboard.
Hi folks,
I am learning to love swype, but sometimes I would also like to manually type as well. The only problem is that I cannot type for the life of me on the Swype keyboard. The default SG2 keyboard is great, because the keys are smaller, so I'm not prone to hitting the wrong keys.
Is there anyway to have the default keyboard with swype? Or does Swype offer other keyboard layouts?
Thank you a bunch!
y u no post in Q&A section?
I was wondering if there were any ICS keyboard mods out there? I really like the autocorrect abilities of the stock keyboard but i hate using a keyboard that doesn't have long press alternate keys.
right now i use swiftkey x, which does both but i've had a little better luck with the autocorrect of stock keyboard. I've also occasionally experienced stutter with swiftkey that wasn't happening with the stock keyboard.
it would also be cool to have the ability to customize smilies : )

Me too. Plus one on the "customizing smileys."
