Yay! I had ordered a black one off ebay and it's finally here. I like the look and feel if it but I must admit it's a little loose on the sides and it makes the power/lock button more difficult to press. But it offers more protection than the mesh case I have. It's also pretty thin. Tuner than the tmo gel skin...
Think I might stick with the mesh for now. I'm not disappointed tho...heck for the 4.50 I paid lol

I don't like the look of it. Feels oilly.
I am not a fan of glossy finishes and it looks cheap, but if you like it thats all that matters. I personally like the Tmobile gel skin it gives the phone some weight and girth.
The pictures do it no justice. I have the black one and the smoked one and they both look great. Although to me anything looks better than the chrome trim around the front of the phone.
I have this case as well. I got it from an Amazon seller. It's shiny, collects fingerprints, and it protects my phone while not collecting pocket lint. It was also cheaper than the T-Mobile case. I'll stick with it until something better comes along.
I got mine...similar case from another ebay seller...the case was bent half way during shipment...so he is mailing another one...

Hey XDA!!!
I know some of you are accessory addicts! And I was just wondering if any of you have encountered a case for the T989 that has a slot for a stylus in it. I really enjoy using my stylus as the S2 is my work phone, and it especially helps when I am on the work site I can avoid getting my phone dirty or scratching the screen with micro-filaments of steel.
Please share if you have any idea!

Eh thanks for the reply but I am looking for a case, probably leather, that has a slot or an insert for a capacative pen for the T989. They had a case like this for my old Thunderbolt but I can't find one for this phone. If you have seen anything please let me know.
I have been waiting for replies on this thread for awhile

Post a pic or link to the thunderbolt case and Ill try to help you out.
Any leather pouch that can fit the phone and has room for styles should do for you right?
I figured you were looking for a hard case with a stylus slot

Any kind of case will do whether it be hard or leather. It just needs to be able to HOLD a stylus in place. Not necessarily be designed for one but at least hold it without it falling out.
You can probably find a lot of cases and pouches on eBay that can fit the phone and the stylus.

Ok so I've had my flip case for about a week nowm and the rubber trim arouns the edge of the flip case has started to peel off.
I think shows the shoddy quality of glue samsung use. Other than that I love the case, but that strip is just starting to come off through regular use.

One day I am going to get a CnC milling machine and make the dopest custom cases for any phone.
$40,000 machine to make cellphone cases okay
Wife won't let me get $65.00 dremel to properly mod cases I have.
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
I'm confused on this one myself. You explained steps took, but what is the point of this mod to begin with? I've looked at the pics you provided several times and its just not coming together for me. Not trying to be rude in any way I just don't get it
I can dream, can't I?
If I had one of those I would probably find some time to fan parts for bikes the guys on my other forum... Uh oh.

I discovered these a few weeks back. They look nice and have a unique look to then.
Many colors are available for both white and blue GS3s on Amazon. The above color option can be found here http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0093DKVEU/ref=mp_s_a_124?pi=SL75&qid=1348739940&sr=8-124
@winbytrick I actually just ordered one and a Kidigi charge dock. Now I need a spare batt the, dock charges a spare.Should I go OEM,what do you think?

Just received mine today.
Everyone should know that these are slightly fatter than the stock version. The advantage is that if you use your phone naked, it provides a little extra buffer for the camera lens if your rest the phone screen up. The downside is that if you use a wrap-around case, it may not fit anymore.
Luckily I knew this beforehand and decided to go with an aluminum bumper to match the new aluminum backplate
