Nice, 2 weeks after I just got my BodyGlove Mirage case. I was actually looking at this one too but wasn't sure how long it would be before they were available.
Please post your thoughts on your case when you get it (pics if possible). I'd like to know how the case fits and feels. I think it's a 2 piece (bottom and top) slip-on rather than a front and back snap together according to the pictures on their site.
It looks very similar to the OEM Samsung Carbon Fiber case which turned out to be not so good so I returned it.

I just got mine today and it is awesome.
I have
the clear snap on case - no gaps but is super hard to get off and feels very molded and cheap. The finish is very smooth / slippery plastic. But overall protects well.
Samsung snap on case - Much easier to remove, and has small gaps where the case snaps together. The finish is a nice velvet checkerboard. The finish is a little rough around the edges the way it was applied / could be better.
Slip in hardcase w/ optional Beltclip - Protects the screen and has an optional snap on belt clip. The phone does not slide completely into the case there is about 1/2 inch of the phone sticking out. Overall okay quality.
This Seido case - Precision made, great finish looks perfect. By far the best of all of them.

Yeah I will try to get a hold of my brothers camera, or my other brothers captivate to get some pictures.

I took a bunch of pics with my bros camera. The first ones suck because I took them and didn't know he had some weird settings on it. Some of the later ones are better.

Looks like the buttons would be hard to press? Mainly looking at the power/sleep button. Any issues with being able to press it?? Def interested in getting this. Have a Amzer case and it is an Ok case, and i know it is going to be some time before we get a case from Otterbox.

No holster, just stuff it in your pocket...
its not as gigantic as their HC cases are; those you can drop from a rooftop and the phone won't crack...
this one should survive any drop from 7 feet or less...they have a video of them testing it on the webpage listed above..

its about 10 times more protective than any tpu case..
its bigger and bulkier, so, if you don't want that, then don't get one...

What is the diff. between SG and HC? is the HC phone/polycarbonate/silicon?
It's quiet comforting knowing my phone will no longer be at risk.
I've already done a 7 ft. drop test with it and am impressed.
I like how the feel is on the power button and volume as well (much easier to press than on the TPU case.

I dont understand why so many people like the TPU cases; the're just a cheap piece of vinyl, and do nothing to protect your phone from a drop on a hard surface, like concrete..they are super cheap, I guess, considering there is only a few pennies in vinyl to make them, so maybe its the price that makes them so attractive..

For me it was keeping the camera from scratching while on a table... It protected that.
Also, it kept the phone from having direct contact with surfaces (to avoid scratch)... yah it would probably break if dropped, but if you rubbed up on a hard surface, at least the phone wouldn't scratch

Curious about this one as well.

I was going to wait for the casemate, but this looks just as good as the other versions of casemate imo. And why wait when your phone could get scratched up? It takes 10 days minimum to ship, so if you guys are on the fence about ordering it, order soon cause the wait is kinda long

Can the owners comment how much extra thickness does it add to the note?
From the pictures it looks like it will add more thickness than a TPU silicone case.
And how soft are the insides against the phone? No point having a protective cover that leaves a permanent dent on the unit. Thanks in advance

I would advise against the white colour, because over time it will absorb the colour of your jeans/bad etc etc.
The black and Cyan is a good combo, it reminds me of ICS and CyanogenMod. Plus the black will fit nicely with a locked screen + bezel.
I don't think they were specially contructed like the Otterbox (those things take a beating), but it looks quite protective. However its so thick that I wont be getting it as it wont fit in my pockets anymore.
I've already bought the Black&Gray TPU-Silicon case (with kickstand) and I'll post my impressions when I get some "hands on"

OK, I don't take responsibility for this as I still don't recommend those type of cases (less material, less protection ) but on the picture it looks like what you are looking for. It says it's aluminum so should be better it terms of durability, but I don't know if it won't reduce your signal strength a bit.

P.S.: I don't like big cases like silicone bumpers or bags or something like this. I just trust in my ability to handle my phone without letting it fall to the ground. That worked with other phones for years, so I take the risk.

But you will probably have to wait a few days or maybe weeks until it's available outside Korea (or you can try buy it from their website, I don't speak Korean so I can't help you with that). And it won't be cheap as I suppose it won't be less than $50-$60 without shipping.

Yes there is. Check out Amazon uk. Samsung have a lizard leather flip case. Much stronger than original flip. I have had it for approaching a month now and no sign of wear. At it is thicker than original, it takes a little bit more pressing down on the back to secure it. But once it is on, it does the job of protection, looks stylish and professional. I have photos of it in the 'post your case' thread if u r interested

Wow, it just arrived. Unbelievable fast, I thought I would be very lucky if I get it next Friday.
My first thoughts are very positive: It fits perfect and feeld high quality.
The Flip gives a good protection, it's very strong. The battery cover is a bit thicker than the original one, so it protects the camera lense but doesn't make the phone bulky.
Two little disadvantages: It smells quite bad, but I believe in a week the stink is gone. And the back is very smooth, even a bit slippery. The plastic texture of the original had more grip, but it the aluminium looks simply great. So that's ok.
I'm very happy with it!

I am not sure if the seller is trust worthy either, but does anyone know if the
Anymode Case Galaxy Note Stand Folio Case Series from ExportPrive would work on the SGH-I717 or is it just for the International Note?

Ater some google-fu on the case and exportprive, I went ahead and ordered it. Apparently the case is made for the Japanese model of the Galaxy Note, so it does have the NFC antenna on the battery cover of the case (I have the SGH-i717) . The only foreseeable downfall I see is that it doesn't snap on properly, that would hurt. But for $63 including shipping, I say it is worth the risk considering I fell in love with the anymode case at&t sells, but thought it was to pricey for a brick&motor store to sell. Now I will get a kick stand plus earpiece cut out! Will update when I receive it.

I intend on purchasing a genuine Samsung flip cover (white) for my Galaxy Note (ceramic white).
I had a look on Amazon UK and for illustrative purpose I have posted the link below.

The genuine cover (in YLNdroid's post) is a lovely fit, but probably isn't great for long term use, a lot of people complain that it wears out quickly. But it only adds about 1.5mm to the phone, so that's very attractive.

Aryana90, is the said cover you purchased as good as the "genuine" one? Does it have Galaxy Note inscribed on the front and Samsung inscribed on the rear?
If so, where can I get one in white colour? I have a ceramic white Galaxy Note.
I apologise for sounding a bit too paranoid perhaps! With all due respect, I do not want a sub-standard case/cover for my Galaxy Note.

i purches both of them, i loved the rock cases on my hox and my S3.
the back only cover arrieved yesterday. great looking, good feeling and perfect match. just a few rather sharp edges, which i removed with my nails.
i got a grey cover for my silver one, looks really great.
i am waiting for the black flip cover . it did not arrieved so far

1. its rather hard, looks not like TPU, hard plastic would i say, but still flex enoth to fit it
2. the grey one is not that shiny, matt i would say

I ordered the black one, and it just arrived today. Bit of a shame I don't have a phone to put in it, because it looks great. It is glossy, but not overboard. Maybe similar to the gloss on the original PS3? But don't quote me on that, I only owned the slim.
My One should arrive tomorrow. Once it does, I'll post up some pictures so you guys can check it out.
As far as Rock cases go though, I had one for my One X and I really liked it. I would def recommend you guys check them out. Or also Capdase. I just got a white case from them today as well. Both very nice. One is glossy, one is matte.

Do you order straight from their website ? I had their case for my s3 and loved it but then a whole ton of knockoffs started coming out.

So my phone arrived, and I had it in the Rock case within about 5 minutes. I'm in Korea for the day, so I'm trying it out. So far: really like it. The case fits like a glove. Doesn't snap on really tight like some, but there is absolutely no movement. I actually prefer this to the ones that make you think you are going to break your phone putting on/taking it off. The black on black looks so good! It's super thin, so the phone shape is maintained. It also has a very slight lip around the edges on the front so you can put it down on it's face, if you want.
The negatives: the black is a fingerprint magnet. I guess that's why they bundled a cloth in the package. The other is I am afraid I'm gonna drop my phone and it will break. I attribute the fear to having just got the phone, as well as being pretty hungover . If I were to drop the phone, the case wouldn't do much to protect it. It's more like a scratch guard.
Anyway, so far I really like it. I bet the coloured ones on the black would look ridiculous good. I'll add pictures when I get some time.

I have Rock "Quicksand" case with the Xperia S.
Dropped it from around waist level to the hard ground. No scratch.
So.. when I got One, I quickly try to find a Quicksand series but they don't seem to made it yet.

Search on amazon for the bear motion case. I had the quicksand for my s3 and this bear motion feels just like that.

Thanks, I already ordered something similar from ebay (not bear motion). I believe they came from the same wholesale retailer and slap different brand on it...
