CDMA Kernel Source - HTC Wildfire S

I am looking for the CDMA kernel source. I know HTC Dev has Wildfire S listed on the site but I dunno if it is GSM or CDMA. Or if it is interchangeable. Any help would be appreciated.
Coming from the Thunderbolt and building and porting roms and building kernels I am ready to get started on this phone.

The kernel is the same in cdma and gsm it just seems to be hboot that's different.

[rom] [unofficial port] collective ascension glacier ics port 03-01-12

UNOFFICIAL PORT no support from the collective
First all support for this rom by me so please don't bug the collective, as they are busy doing their own projects. Cool thing is the collective tool to customize your rom with apps oc/uv kernels (I've tested both and they work among other things.
What doesn't work
Wallpaper
CAMERA
Mic its a known issue because the rom it was based off of had that issue on the desire HD
Everything else should work
Changelog: 1.06
Changed a few libs
Tools updater goes to new download
Aospx commits
And some things I forgot in last port
1.07 change log:
Added new aospx ar23 commits
Added build prop tweaks
battery bar in settings
updated phone & contacts from latest source
Updated trebuchet launcher from source
bumped tools to 10.3
Bugs let me know
Thanks to
Febycv for base
Thederekjay for kernel
Lordclockan for desire HD base
Flappjaxxx for letting me port it
And the collective for a kick butt rom
Dowoad link http://hotfile.com/dl/148409961/ceb2937/ascension_v1.07glacier_port.zip.html

I don't have a chance to try this right now but I wonder if the ICS kernel that fixed the mic issue in Virtous Quatro would fix it here? Think it was called "comb_kernel_WOB.zip".

It comes with that kernel so unless that zip is updated it would be the same kernel.

How do I flash a gsm rom to a cdma r800i?

What the title says! Sorry for the nooby question its a verizon r800x unlocked bootloader and there's a bigger variety of gsm roms I would like to try out! Thanks
You need a patch for cdma (or custom cdma rom) Not all the roms supports cdma

Some ROMS are compatible with the R800x. Currently running AOKPlay 4.0.4 And it's awesome
you will want to unlock your phone bootloader to gain the full amount of roms

i agree with stankyou, why dont u put a list together so that other CDMA users have more of choice of roms

There is a torrent out there with a bunch of cdma desire roms packaged in it. Most of them are old and unsupported at this point...but they work. Do a google search for it and let me know if you found it, if you havent, I'll drop a link when I get home from work.

Looks like I can't post up a link for now, but check out the two CronMod CDMA roms. Quite slick. I currently run the CM7/AOSP and love it. I tried The CM9/AOSP version, but cannot connect to my network provider only wifi..seems to be very fast, and no lag from what I was able to see.

Why can't the vivow have interchangable ROMs with the vivo?

I understand the limitations but I've seen phones such as the incredible one with the Evo and the G1 with its magic and hero counterparts.
Anyone care to give an explanaition?
Im asking this because since the vivo got their share of ics, why can't we at least port it and losing all the radios if that's what's causing the trouble And I doubt its the bootloader because we have S-Off.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
Take a look at this Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745483). It's a port from vivo for their ics update and this Rom is a port from a different base but still ics (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953899)
Oh so I was wrong
I actually like the viper ROM
But my question came about because we have no sources while the vivo guys do
