My Top 3.
hyperspace live wallpaper. This is a very cool one. ultra smooth flying through space forwards backwards and every which way so much to see very awesome. a guaranteed new favorite if you try it. there's a fre and paid version. i stuck with the free one. no real need to customize!

Acircuit board another very cool live and interactive wallpaper. you can tap the android fan twice to shut it down and in doing this dim your display. there are also more spots you can touch that'll make parts light up. there is gps wifi and bluetooth indicators as well as a binary clock displayed in the upper left corner (not shown in pic). Constant blinking and flashing led's on board. Looks real. In free trial and paid versions. Check it out!
I like the sky clouds one.

Beach - shows a wave splashing from right to left, nice sandy beaches and seashells.
Beach Free - nice beach view in landscape mode, palm tree slowly swaying in the wind.
Metal Galazy - interesting mix of visuals, you have to download it to see it.
MultiPicture Live Wallpaper - great for viewing the 1500+ girls on motorcycle pics, you chose the rating
My Beach HD - highly detailed beach scenery that slowly pans back and forth, changes brightness w/ the time or can just stay sunny.
Submarine - darkly lit sides w/ the outlines of manta rays, schools of fish, etc w/ the sun glimmering through the water, as if you're laying on the ocean floor watching everything above you
Video Live Wallpaper - self explanatory.

I thought it would be nice to have a separate thread for panoramic shots (mod, if this doesn't make sense then feel free to merge it with the regular photo thread that is already going).
I'll post up some shots I took in Vegas this past weekend:

Shot in Alaska. I have a bunch more but with it being -40 out it was hard to not move fast so the pictures aren't that good.

That first pic is beautiful.
I'm still getting the hang of moving while taking the pic... It does a really good job of stitching the pics together, but sometimes I notice that things will get a little skewed, particularly if the camera's at an angle.

It cost the groom-to-be $2000 for a night. It used to be more, but I think the Palms isn't doing so well nowadays.
Took this using panorama mode vertically.

yeah it is really hard to not move too fast or jerk a little, especially in -40 degree weather with no glove on (so you can change setting to panorama, focus, and start the picture).
I'll post some of the others tonight even though they aren't perfect

Sorry if this is old news - I was fooling around with the new rev. of Earth when I was browsing around the Los Angeles area. Suddenly I noticed EVERY HOUSE and every structure, including trees had geometry and even vehicles were 3d..... wild..... it chugs a bit... maybe a functional fps around 15 or so but there has to be half a million polys on screen. From anything over a few hundred feet up, it looks amazing. San Fran, and Rome are also in terrametric detail.
If you havent, its worth checking out. Pretty amazing.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
nothing on my end. i'm in Miami so i would expect a big city like this would have the detail as well. looks nice but nothing 3D.

i wished Google maps were as good as Bing.. i would have much preferred a "birds eye" view with better quality like Bing has.
Thanks for the post. Works great here in Phoenix
I like Google Earth,that‘s great.
Google Earth and My Tracks integration
If you record your movements in Google My Tracks you can send them to Google Earth and "fly" along the path.

The screencap above does it no justice. And while many cities include 3d objects, I think only Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Rome are have the terrametric maps. It seriously looks photo real and every dang thing is 3d. ... the vents on top of buildings have separate geometry....just scan around....the detail is pretty crazy.

Google Earth is simply amazing
I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely love the pattern found on back of the device ---- so I made a background out of it.
I made it from scratch based on macros I've seen floating around (so yes, it has the angled pattern). Once I get the device, I'll be sure to make an updated one that makes the pattern the exact same size as the dots on the back. :good:

Great Job
This is awesome! Rockin' it on my GNex until the N4 is in my hands! It'll make for a really cool effect with the matching screen and back glass pattern. :good::good::good:
Pretty Good work out there
I thought you will make one working on different angles
Seriously, good work.

1920x1080? Thanks a trillion!
It would be freaking amazing if you did a live wp that responded to the accelerometer and gyroscope so when you moved your phone, it would look like the back of the N4.

Current res works fine, at least that's what I'm using on my 1080p dispays. Either way, I added one for you.:good:
The link for the 1080P is actually smaller than the other attachment.
Would it be at all possible to request a 1080p background, without the lines on the dots?

Brilliant, Thank you.:good:
Great work!
It would be even better if the word "Nexus" was written in the center of it.
Wow. Absolutely amazing work!
Great!
There's actually a Nexus 4 dot backplate-based live Wallpaper on the market, by Wasabi, if you're interested:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidwasabi.livewallpaper.nexusdot
This is a brilliant idea! If this could really get transformed into a live wallpaper that reacts to the tilt angle, it would be more than perfect.
Wallpaper from market is pretty meh imho...

Yeah, the points glow/get dark randomly without moving the phone which hasn't much sense. It'd be AWESOME if it changed the pattern when moving the phone.. and if it used the light sensor to change the pattern I'd pay for that one.

I wouldnt believe it anymore than using wifi to look through walls. Sure it works but it also sucks and is impractical.
Article sounds a little funny. But I also don't understand how such high frequencies would be considered usable for material penetration. Apparently what they are discussing is considered for such uses though - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terahertz_radiation Though what kind of energy output are we looking at, cell phones.... meh talking about looking through a wall not transmitting some data.
x-ray vision for cellphones
Vista Verda Optics Inc. proudly presents next generation of x-ray spex lenses.
With Vista Verda, it is simple to achieve superior visual outcomes with brilliant images. Our amazing Photo-Reactive Technology product shows whatever you want to see that you are
looking for. You can use Vista Verda easily with all kind of smart phones. You won’t believe what
you will be able to see through VISTA VERDA.
Enjoy and have fun.
How echnology works:
To capture a Fluoresced See-Through image, the object is placed over the light source to limit the incident light and prevent any infrared rays emitted by the source from reaching the subject.
Some of the visible rays, which remain striking the subject are changed to longer, all reflected light that we can see with the naked eye represents a fractional portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is infinite. We refer to this section as "visible light". All around us, there are light rays that cannot be detected by the human retina, such as ultraviolet and infrared radiation.
Vista Verda filter allows such rays to be passed into the camera of the mobile device and human eye via infrared rays diffraction.
You can also see the main structure of objects with the infrared filter at the
bottom of the lens with your naked eye.

Not exactly sure because I don't have the Nexus 4 yet (plan to get one very soon though) BUT I found a website which reviewed Microbes live wallpaper on Nexus 4 at: http://www.android.gs/google-nexus-4-live-wallpapers/ and you can download the APK directly from the link.
Cmon guys! So many views and no feedback on the website?
I like the idea. I normally stick with a static wallpaper but I might try the dandelion now.
