Is it safe to flash Runnymede All in one v1.0 CM7r2 Rom if I am s-off with stock hboot? I was thinking of flashing stock boot file over rom.

I think you would be better off downloading the stock hboot version 5.3.
I am not sure if the rom convertor works with the all in one version.
Change the thread name - it is a question, not a ROM, and don't be lazy and type your own words.
I found it very laggy,fc'ing all the time, asking for more memory space when there is plenty remaining.

Not really sure how to change hboot mate. Just wanted to see what All in one Rom is like
Just noticed sebastiaan15 has updated Runnymede AllinOne Rom for Shboot users. Will give it a try.
Thanks for all your help/comments chaps.

hi, Can I use xd2sdx on Stock Hboot?
I thought I cant but when I installed the rom I had a choice between A2SD+ to XD2SDX, is it possible?
If it is, Does it Better?

Why didn't you ask this question in the Runnymede thread? Or searched for an answer in that thread? You can try to use it, but it is designed for use if you have a CM7R2 HBOOT. For a stock HBOOT then you should select A2SD+

So what exactly is your question? If you want to flash this particular ROM, you have to have stock or cm7 Hboot. No question about that.

So I am running some old Rom on Bravo CM7 ...got it to work ages ago. now i'm back and I keep seeing CM7 r2?
can i use a rom made for this? do i need to "upgrade" to r2? if so, can someone point me in the right direction? sory for beign so noob...i've completely lost the touch to this awesome place!
thanks
oh one more question...how do i know what I have: A2SD/A2SD+, D2W, D2EXT -PART ? where can I check this?
Cm7r2 is a hboot which alters the size of the partitions. Not sure if you know that or not?
If you don't know what you have to move x to sd-ext, you can find out.
in settings, how big is "internal storage"? If 147MB, a2sd. If much more, data2sd

Thanks for the quick answer. Yeah I know what it is, just not whether mine (CM7) is any different to CM7 r2 (which is what i'm seeing all new Roms support). Do i HAVE to get CM7r2? how would I change my hboot is the question I suppose...I've forgotten how i did it once upon a time
and thanks for the checking internal storage trick (it's way more than 147...so must be data2sd)

easiest way I have found to flash a HBOOT (as described on alpharev.nl) is to download the PB99IMG, rename it to PB99IMG, stick it on the SD card and boot into HBOOT mode.
The fastboot-method is also very easy.
Sent from dGB using Transparent XDA App
"Android Flasher" is also very easy.

Drag-On,
This thread seems to have developed into a discussion about how to flash a new hboot, without answering the original question.
When you say that you are running 'on Bravo CM7', are you referring to the CM7 ROM or the CM7 hboot?
If you are referring to hboot, the main difference is that the original CM7 hboot has a /system/ partition of 130MB. The r2 version has a slightly larger 145MB size.
You don't have to 'upgrade' to cm7r2 unless the ROM you want to flash has a system size greater than 130MB.
ascot17, you nailed it on the head! however, most of the other guys...no, ALL the other answers were useful in their own way...

The best way to open a new thread about it. I'll beat them to it by recommending either Runnymede or ICS - not sure if it would fit in cm7r2 tho.

It just makes you capable of installing and using JB Sense roms and leaves CM10, AOKP and others crippled.
This, however, is just my personal opinion.
ok

Hi to all!
I have been searching for stock rooted 2.3.3 rom for htc desire for some time now. A rom without any add-ons, plain stock, just rooted. I have also checked all threads and haven't found anything like that. Maybe I have missed something? Can someone please help me out?
Thanks in andvance!
Here's one:

The link is broken but there's a mirror on the last page of the thread.
It comes with an a2sd script as well, but it won't do anything if you don't make an ext partition.

Thank you very much! I need something ultra stable but rooted. Thank you also for clarifying about a2sd. I'll delete ext partition so it won't use it.

Of you could follow the guide in my sig to make a partition, and use it to expand your phone data.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm very satisfied with this ROM. Used 5.17.05.08 radio, works perfectly. Decided to use a2sd anyways, so thank you both!
