CM7 GPS + Keyboard - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I am wondering if there is a possible bug with the GPS in CM7 7.1.0.1 (Latest Stable).
I am having a weird issue in which the GPS disable itself around 5/10mins after enabling it.
This is causing issues for some of the apps I use where periodic GPS fixes assist with the content displayed.
I did think about using Tasker to keep the GPS enabled.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I have tried complete wipes and reflashes etc all with the same results.
Another little bug that has become apparent is a Force Closing of the Android Keyboard. This can sometimes not happen for a few days or sometimes not long after boot.
The quick fix is to reboot the phone.
Once it starts popping up on Keyboard Activation it continues until reboot.
Anyone else experienced this?
I'm using the standard Android Keyboard, Default Theme and UK Keyboard Settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was also having same problem bt when i reflashed i got resolved....

Keyboard issue was resolved by removing the 'Microphone' Icon from the Android Keyboard - Seems the Google Voice Microphone Shortcut causes an issue with the Keyboard.

Trouble with the new ROM (Sense 2.5)

Hello,
I started using the new ROM 2 days ago and I'm experiencing an anoying bug.
I already tried a hard reset to verify if the bug persist and it does.
When I'm in a building and I can't get a decent GPS signal, the location seems to default to Bengalore(bengaluru).
Any of you experiencing this bug or know a solution to this?

Keyboard stops working (rooted ICS, after Darkside Cache wipe)

Title states it, rooted SGS II updated to ICS, was freezing on Goodbye screen. Used Darkside Cache Wipe, now the keypad will stop working after a time until I reboot the phone and it'll work again. haven't found if it's totally random or if there is an app causing it. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Info (Will update as i find out more):
ICS 4.0.3
Swype Keypad
Can interact with areas of screen without keypad up, but actual "keys" on keypad do nothing
Will find out on next occurance if it effects the dialpad as well.

[Q] Camera and maps screen issues

I'm currently running Paranoid Android 2.18 and am experiencing an issue with the screen jumping in camera mode. I am also having an issue with the screen picture in maps. I've attached a picture of the maps issue but was unable to get a screenshot of the camera issue. Can anyone maybe figure out what is causing this?
I have wiped the cache and dalvik to no avail.
Thanks in advance.

[HELP!] "Unfortunately Bluetooth share has stopped"

Somebody HELP!!!!!!!!
I'm running Resurrection Remix LP v5.5.8 on my T-Mobile Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919). I love this ROM, but I'm having a persistent problem with Bluetooth crashing, within minutes of starting up. This a consistent problem, not even remotely intermittent - happens every single time I try to turn on Bluetooth - it shuts itself off, refuses to turn back on again, and on occasion, gives me the error message "Unfortunately Bluetooth share has stopped."
I have tried clearing the Bluetooth share app cache and data to restart - it will then turn back on, but soon turns back off.
The problem was bad enough that I took RR off my phone and tried some other ROMs, including basic CM12.1. I came back to RR because the other ROMs had more critical issues, but they did help me eliminate causes of my problem, in that I didn't have Bluetooth issues with them like I do with RR, and I was still running all the same apps, same devices I was trying to attach, etc.
I've also played with several of the settings in the Kernel Aduitor, including completely shutting off the task killer. No difference - problem persists.
I also tried some of the apps on Google Play that say they're supposed to cure problems like this. Fixed nothing.
Please help. Is there an alternative something that I can flash - Bluetooth driver, different kernel, something, that can fix this issue once and for all?
Got the same problem. Android V6 RR Remix. Any suggestions?
Seems to be a consistent MM ROM issue, currently. Some seem to work better than others on some phones.
Keeping bluetooth working on the S4 seems to be "dark arts". Cyanogenmod has historically had much problems with this too. Some nightlies are okay, then others cause BT to crash. Some don't work at all.
Anyone have any resolution to this issue? I'm having the exact same symptom, but I'm on a different phone.
Note II / T-889, Conch Republic. Might've been from a radio update I did a while back, trying different ones now.

You might give this AOKP 6 MM ROM a try:

Users are reporting that after a week of testing the Bluetooth seems to be working rather well.

Waze no gps

Google maps Works perfectly
And GPS Tool shows 6 meter precision.
did you try toggling the gps on and off from quick settings? i occasionally have this issue, turning the gps off then back on typically fixes it.
Stock rom?
I have the same problem!
GPS toggle on/off does not work.
I have the Stock Rom and Factory Reset did not solve.
Any ideas what happening?
I've had the issue before. Reinstall the app/ Clear cache. Toggling the location service on and off works as well.
I sent a email to waze development team and they said they are looking if there are some problem. Also, I hope maybe the update (android 7.1.1) that is near the corner may resolve the problem. Also this problem is not everytime, since yesterday reboot it is working normally. Very strange.
