GPS is totally off, is there a fix? Seems ASOP roms are always off on GPS compared to sense which are perfectly accurate. Also the flashlight constantly goes off on its own, really annoying. This a glitch or is there a setting for it to go off on its own?
sorry bud, but this is the development section. you can post this question in the Q&A section.

Hi,
Since I update my phone from GB to ICS (stock), I notice that im having some problem when i'm playing games with the on screen controller. sometimes it does not respond with what I touch but it works fine when i'm not playing games. Is there any zip or modification that i can do to fix this? I know there are some people that also experiencing this(saw it also on other forum but no answers or solution yet). I post it here because i know we have the best dev here..
First.. This is the developer section.. Questions go in the Q&A forum..
Second.. The problem you are experiencing is mainly because the game developers have not optimized their codes for ICS as there is not much userbase using ICS..
Third.. There is no patch to make touchscreen better..
Got it! Sorry about posting it here because I really can't find someone to answer it WHY it is like this to behave.
Questions go in the Q&A section
Posting here as a new member because I'm not permitted to post in the development thread with less than 10 posts. I just joined to ask this question after lurking for a month.
I have this rom installed on my GNex, had Beta 1 also. Both have been excellent roms. I have followed the development thread since it started, and just reread the whole thing to make sure my question wasn't addressed there already.
I love the ROM, much thanks to the devs, it works great. Have only noticed today that when switching between profiles, features (GPS, Wifi, Data) are disabled properly according to each profile's config, but when switching profiles no features are enabled as they should. Once they are turned off by a profile switch they stay off until I manually reenable them via the Settings or Power Toggles. Again, I'm running SlimBean Beta 2 with Leankernel 5.4.
Is this feature just not totally there yet, or am I missing something on my end? Any guidance or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks, and thanks again to the Slim developers--it's a phenomenal ROM.
It is a Beta. I personally don't use the profiles so I can't comment but otherwise everything is working great for me.
Apologies for the noob question. I don't even know if a different kernal would have any effect on bluetooth!
Anyway, I've been running AOKP for the last 6 months or so and I absolutely love everything about it -except the bluetooth instability. When I'm playing some google music it will periodically lock up or drop the connection then reconnect or all of the above.
So, can anyone tell me which rom has the most stable bluetooth support?
I've installed the latest nightly of CM10 and I'll report back if things seem any more stable.
Thanks!

You may want to add model numbers of bluetooth devices or docks you are looking to use.
Thanks, when I did a search on the topic I thought I saw someone move a similar question to the general question section from the QA. Oh well I'll remember that next time.
Back to the topic at hand, I haven't had a chance to thoroughly test bluetooth but so far the latest CM10 nightlies seem very stable compared to my experience with AOKP.
This is about development, but is a question, so I figured I'd put it in questions....
I'm just curious, what happened to the 'old days' when the first post or three in the ROM threads contained the known bugs, issues, what's working, what's not, what's been fixed, etc for the ROM the thread was about, which was then updated as problems were fixed and/or new issues found? I'm not sure if other ROMs had it, but the Cyanogen ROMs used to. It was nice when you could look at the top of the thread and have an idea of what was working and what wasn't. Now, the thread is just started with virtually no info, and to try to wade through hundreds or thousands of posts to try to find out what's working and what's not, what has been fixed, etc is a royal pain.
Any chance of getting that kind of thing back so the information is easy to find? I would have to believe that would reduce the posts asking if this or that was working at least a little.
That's all dependent upon the person who Starts/Runs the thread. Also you have to keep in mind that having a Rom thread is a fairly large undertaking in, and of itself. So it is sometimes difficult to keep everything completely up to date. Especially if you have more than one.
Ok, I am feelng somewhat noobish for asking, but is there a ROM that is already rooted, and actually functions. I pulled down a number of ROMs and either they failed miserably or was lacking. First off, I noticed that a couple of ROMs, although seemingly having SU installed, failed to allow for root actions (For instance, CleanROM, and one of the AOSP ROMs). It is probably that I am getting old and my patience is not what it used to be. I stated off with an Adam, and having been playing with Asus devices, Acer devices, etc. Sometimes I would just like to get a ROM that works out the box and I can go and be productive with it.
I have the TM-320, and don't really care if it is TW or ASOP. Are there any suggestions?
**** Upon further searching, I guess it will give CM11 a shot...
