here is ur arabic rom buddy.....
to instal a rom u have to download rom manager in ur dhd
then go in the rom manager and check if the FLASH CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY IS 5.0.2.0
if not then just click on the first option in rom manager and u will see a pop up select desire hd and wait till another pop up says FLASH CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY IS UP TO DATE OR 5.0.2.0( make sure u have internet connection on ur dhd)
then go to option INSTAL ROM FROM SD CARD( make sure the rom u want to instal is in ur sd card an u know where u have place it)
then select ur rom and a pop up window will ask some options select all of
them and click ok
there u go it will reboot into recovery and start instaling ur rom
MAKE SURE U BACK UP UR ALL DATA , WHICH IS ON PHONE MEMORY. DONT WORRY ABOUT SDCARD DATA ITS SAFE UNLESS U FORMAT IT.
thank you very much for your fast answer. i will try that but before i will do it i want to ask an other questionto make sure...
what if i do it and something goes wrong do i will damage the phone??or nothing will happenen
Since somebody already installed another ROM for you, ClockworkMod or 4EXT recovery will be there already.
First turn off the phone, remove the battery and then reinsert. That way you know the phone is completely off.
Hold down the volume DOWN button, and then hold down the power button. You will get to a white screen with some options. It takes a while to load so be patient.
When it loads, use the volume keys to select Recovery and then press the Power button to select Recovery.
When that loads, please tell us if it is ClockworkMod or 4EXT Recovery that is installed. It will say at the top.
After you tell us this we will be able to help you further
If you follow our instructions nothing will go wrong. And if for some reason it does, it will definitely be recoverable.

Ah ok, I'm not so sure what that person actually did to change the ROM in the first place then.
Anyway, to root first we will need your software number (a number that is in the format x.xx.xxx, such as 2.50.405)
Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information.
There are currently 2 ways to root it, one is quick and easy but (personally) I think it is more unreliable. The other way takes longer and is a bit more work but is guaranteed to work (depending on the software version). I will explain more about this when you can show me your software number

This is complete guide for all HTC Desire HD owners who want's to root their devices and install custom recovery image.
FLASH THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG
I have collected and summarize few guides on this forum in order to collect all informations on one place. Check following threads for additional informations. Please post all bug's and issues related to DHD scripts to sfjuocekr thread below. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835746
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=9183483
Summary: 1) Download Paul's Visionary+ tool (I have used version r12) (google removed this app from market) so You will have to download it from Paul's website. This tools enables root and removes new HTC protection. 2) Install engineering version of HBOOT to get S-Off (HTC bootloader, something like BIOS for Your PC) This step is optional and it's not required in order to flash custom ROM's on Your DHD but gives You more freedom with Your device. 3) Install custom recovery image (recovery is special program which is invoked from HBOOT in order to flash ROM onto Your device.
Detailed description: 1) Download Paul's Visionary+ tool 1.1) Click here to download http://android.modaco.com/content/ht...ne-click-root/ or download it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1290501865 1.2) Install Visionary+ on Your DHD 1.3) Run it, enable "Set system r/w after root 1.4) Click "Temproot Now!" - Wait until it's finished 1.5) Click Attempt Permroot Now! 1.6) DHD automatically reboot's To test that everything went fine download from market application "terminal emulator" run it, type su If You get after that sign # it mean's that everything went fine.
Time for next step!
2) Install engineering version of HBOOT to get S-Off 2.1) Download sfjuocekr DHD script for flashing HBOOT from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835746 2.2) Unzip it and copy it to Your SDCard (It's important that You have on Your SDCard root directory with name DHD and all files inside this directory. Rename DHD-smart folder on Your SDCARD to DHD. 2.3) Run Terminal Emulator 2.4) Type su 2.5) Type "sh /sdcard/DHD/check (Please be aware that You have to type "sh" in front of command) 2.6) If everything went OK type sh /sdcard/DHD/backup 2.7) If this also went OK proceed with sh /sdcard/DHD/hboot This command will install engineering hboot which have S-Off turned off.
3) Install custom recovery image 3.1) Since ROM manager now officially support's Desire HD, we will use it to download and install custom clockwork image. 3.2) Run android market app on Your DHD and download and install ROM Manager app from market. 3.3) Download and install ROM manager. 3.4) Run ROM manager and select first option (Flash ClockWorkMod Recovery). 3.5) Wait until ROM Manager say's that installation went successfully (Current version of ClockWorkMod is 2.5.1.3) 3.6) After installation tap in Rom manager option Reboot into Recovery to test that everything went well. 3.7) DHD should reboot in clockwork recovery manager.
Enjoy.

Hi guys.
I have done some searching but cant quite find out a full answer or a link to the rom download. I want to update my Desire to Froyo now and am not bothered about the branding of Virgin Mobile etc. Can someone point me in the direction of a guide of how to do this or explain it for me. At this point my desire is rooted and I have a gold card but I cant find the right rom and dont know if I need a new radio for it to work.
Any help much appreciated.
James
Can't you just debrand and install the update? The update will update your radio (I think).
Hi again. Thanks for the reply mate and yes you are correct I can. Problem was I didn't know how to do it as I couldn't find info on a rooted and branded phone.
Anyway just for anyone else that needs to know I did mine by creating a gold card. I dont know if this was an important part to do but you may as well as its very easy but will wipe you SD Card so backup anything you need.
I then debranded to this ROM
RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed
this one would not upgrade and came back with an error when trying to install the Froyo update.
RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.3_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_121865
The process of debranding is easy and done by just running the file you download with the phone connected. Some things to check though are that you have HTC Sync and the ADK installed so you get all the drivers and reboot your PC. The ROM File you run when downloaded will guide you through the steps but mine would not detect the phone after it rebooted the phone to bootloader mode. To get round this I left the phone connected and restarted the ROM Install program and all went well.
This gives you a Debranded phone and all that remains is to upgrade to Froyo via the SD Card.
|Here are the instructions I followed:
Steps to install Froyo on HTC Desire
Step 1: Download the Android 2.2 firmware for the Desire (I got mine here http://hotfile.com/dl/58947725/9565...8-1.21.405.2_release4dua3bcrut4wrv30.zip.html)
Step 2: Rename the file update.zip and copy it to your microSD card via USB. [Note: make sure the file is named update.zip and not update.zip.zip.]
Step 3: Power down your Desire.
Step 4: Hold down the “Volume Down” button as you power the phone back on.
Step 5: A screen should appear showing your phone’s system searching for various files. Scroll down to “recovery” and press the “Power” button.
Step 6: When you see the triangle with an exclamation point symbol, press the “Power” and “Volume Up” buttons at the same time.
Step 7: From the menu that appears, select “Apply sdcard:update.zip.”
Step 8: When the screen displays “Install from sdcard complete” select “reboot system now” and wait for the phone to power back up.

Hi james, i too have a VM desire and want to install froyo. which of the above roms work for doing the froyo update as your post is unclear which allows you to upgrade???
also when you did the unbrand and update did you lose all your apps and settings(data and text etc) and how are you finding froyo, is it improved on the VM branded software??
thanks in advance....
hi mate you are right it is unclear! The top ROM RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4. 06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed is the one that worked. The other i tried first and gave me an error.
If you do as I did you will lose all apps, data and settings.
Froyo is defo worth the upgrade just for the 720 recording. it is also quicker but this is not as noticiable on a phone like the desire.
If you fancy going for it just make sure you have an apk file for all your apps and my advice is to make google you contact manager as i wiped my phone and it came back with all my contact and contact photos just by entering my google account. if you have any probs just pm me and if i can help i will.
good luck
james
Thanks for the fast reply James, already got that ROM and goldcard ready to go , going to try update tomorrow, used mybackup pro to backup my apps and settings, i want froyo for installing apps on sd card but have been reading mixed reviews over signal and wifi dropping out, going to give it a go anyhow, will let you know how i get on , thanks again for the info....
i have no wifi or network issues YET lol
btw the phone sorts out all the apn's and messaging numbers automatically so you dont need to worry. well i didn't on my phone. i havent entered any setting manually it did it all auto
Hi again james, none of those roms you posted would work for me , keep getting errors when trying to debrand.
i have now rooted my phone using unrevoked3 and i am looking for the best way to get froyo, either rooted rom or getting the stock rom....
still reading forums and getting sore eyes...
any help appreciated...
thanks again..
i have evo 4g it work as well

I don't know the exact link but search the dev section for the usb/sdcard issue. I know there used to be a thread about how to fix that. I will try to find it but try a search too.
Here is the link, the thread is pretty old so I don't know if it's still relevant:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695243
EDIT: I no longer support this guide, as I've not owned a nitro for at least 2 years now. It is all still accurate however, just make sure to follow the steps.
The package is hosted on my google drive, and I have no plans to remove it, so if this thread is still up, so are the files.
Good luck!

This guide will work for P930, P935, and P936 users.
I have merely put all the pieces together to have a concise all-in-one solution for rooting/unbricking the LGE-IPROJ. Credit is given to original contributors at the bottom of the guide.
As always, I am not responsible for any damage done to your phone by following this guide. Follow at your own risk.
I strongly suggest removing your SDCARD from the phone until step 18 since it causes the phone to boot slower and makes this process take longer.
Ensure that you have the LG USB drivers installed on your computer. If you don't they can be downloaded Here.
Foreword - This guide allows the phone to keep its correct build ID, so it hasn't got leftover data from the SU640 kdz which is flashed using the other method. We flash the experimental ICS build, root it, run keeproot, flash the p936 kdz, then run keeproot to restore root access. We then install CWM, and then we can flash ROMs to our heart's desire.
The reason we have to flash the p936 KDZ is that it overwrites the v18f secure bootloader, allowing us to flash CWM and not brick the phone.
1 - Download this package
2 - Backup your phone if you want.
3 - Extract the Unbrick Package
4 - Place phone in Download Mode (Turn off phone, then hold volume up while plugging in USB cable)
5 - Run the file - P930_UDT_v18f_04112012
6 - Set your phone to allow installation from unknown sources, and enable USB debugging.
7 - Run TPSparkyRoot.bat, following the instructions in the window.
8 - Perform a factory reset of the phone. This is done by shutting off the phone, then holding VOL DOWN + Power until the phone says FACTORY HARD RESET, then following the prompt (pressing power twice)
9 - Allow USB Debugging on the phone.
10 - Run Before.bat contained in the KeepRoot folder.
11 - In the KDZ tools folder, install msxml and run B2CAppSetup (Close the application after it has installed)
12 - Run Windows Enabler as Administrator, and press the icon in the system tray to activate it. (Windows enabler allows you to click on grayed out options to unlock them in programs. You can then set the option as you normally would.)

13 - Place the phone in Download Mode (Turn off phone, then hold volume up while plugging in USB cable)
14 - Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe. You need to set Type to 3GQCT, PhoneMode to CS_EMERGENCY, and point the KDZ file field to V10F_00.kdz
(SOME PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED HAVING TO PRESS "Read Phone Info" FOR THIS STEP TO WORK!)
Once these settings are enabled, hit the "Launch Software Update" button.
15 - After the update has run, the phone should bootloop on the second logo screen. While it does this, run AfterROOT.bat from the KeepRoot folder.
16 - Perform factory reset. This is done by pulling the battery, then holding VOL DOWN + Power until the phone says FACTORY HARD RESET, then following the prompt (pressing power twice)
17 - Set phone's language to english, then enable usb debugging.
NOTE: The following steps are optional. Downloading Rom Manager from the Play Store and installing CWM from there will do the same thing.
18 - Place the recovery.img file in the root directory of your phone's SD card
19 - Open cmd in KeepRoot\adb
20 - Run the following commands, while the phone is plugged in and has USB Debugging enabled
adb shell
su
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13

21 - Accessing CWM - This is done by shutting off the phone, then holding VOL DOWN + Power until the phone says FACTORY HARD RESET, then following the prompt (pressing power twice)
Congratulations. Your phone now has CWM 6.0.1.5 installed, and you can flash any of the CWM flashable zips available for the P930 on XDA.

It work for SU640? I want to downgrade ICS to GB.
I would use mazchalets or drumists, stickied guide for su640. If you replace the KDZ file in this method with a SU640 kdz, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Even with the files included it will work, but you will have a P930 build ID.

Work for anyone yet.....? and whats wrong with the one that exists that covers it all cuz all this does is diminish other guides that others have used, just trying to understand WHY sooooo many guides and no wonder many are confused??
I'm missing something. What benefit is there to keeping the build id?

Unsure. However, that is not the only difference. Another one I have noticed is that when turning on your phone, it will vibrate to indicate you've held the button long enough. This is something that never works after using the standard unbricking method. A Korean KDZ also means you will have a Korean baseband installed which doesn't work on the P93x devices, and you'll have to flash a new baseband at some point.
All in all, these are minor things though. I don't know if there is any major difference. This method does not require modifying your hosts file OR configuring the https.exe program, which makes it a little bit easier in my opinion.

Thanks. Clears up things a bit for people that haven't used a guide yet.
Thank you for this! Can any of the people who used this confirm whether or not this has an impact on the camera reboot bug in CM10?
Also wondering if it would be OK to follow this and then restore a full nandroid backup.

Yes, that's safe to do.
Not sure if it's due to aokp or having used this guide, but I haven't had a random reboot or bsod since. I also don't have the camera reboot issue.
EDIT: Screen not waking from sleep has happened once now, and I have started getting random reboots again. The camera reboot issue is still eliminated though. Probably going to switch to HO!NO!'s Full Throttle 9 and see if that improves my reboot situation.

I will probably give this a try later on today. Thanks for making this write-up!
Was on Liquid Nitro, made a CWM full backup and did the new unbrick process this afternoon.
its easier than the su640 one.
Two little problems:
1. on step 12, after running windows enabler, have to left-click the icon on system tray to active it.
2. all prompts in bat files are in Chinese...need to change to English.
After that, I restored my backup over the GB ROM and it seemed to work fine. But I later learned that CWM didn't backup baseband, so I reflashed Liquid Nitro again then did another restore over the Liquid Nitro just to be safe.
If I have the P930, and I've successfully flashed and rooted the ICS build, is there really any need for me to continue further with the guide? What's preventing me from just flashing recovery right now and being on my way?

ICS bootloader doesn't work with CWM so we need to do the unbrick to back to GB bootloader.
Every time I open the KDZ fw update, all the options are greyed out. I'm stuck there. Ideas?

Thanks. Indeed, I was dumb and flashed recovery and got the secure boot issue. Now that I have that, should I redo the whole process?
I've done the whole thing over twice now, I simply cannot get the KDZ firmware updater to do anything. If I try "Read Device Information" it always freezes and exits.
EDIT: No matter what I do, even going so far as to try this on a computer with freshly installed Windows 7 on it (and of course, installing the provided LG driver), I keep getting stuck at this infernal screen:
http://db.tt/Ro57bvLc
MSXML is installed, the Window Enabler is started as Admin, but the damn thing just won't let me use any of its options .

For Gizmoe first time post, thanks for your info I found it with a google search, I was trying to follow your suggestion to FiFa_JockeR, but HTC does not have my phone on their web site. Can you please try to help me reset my phone somehow?
I have a HTC Incredible (ADR6300) and I just want to start over with this phone. Verizon stores no help, HTC customer service no help. They try to do what I’ve done already, “a factory reset”. But it just does not reset! with or without the SD card. This all started with the force closes on a few apps. Then I thought I would delete allot of apps just for the heck of it, then I ran into another problem. I can delete an app(s) while the phone is on but when the phone is rebooted or turned off then on again the deleted app(s) reappears. So I can’t delete apps and I can’t reset my phone. It’s exactly the same as FiFa_JockeR (just like the pictures) only we have different phones from HTC. PS phone has never been rooted.

For screen shots(the pictures) see first part of this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458066
Then I tried this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2215233
I downloaded and flashed? I put it on my formatted SD card and it loaded
I was excited because things were loading in hboot the file PB31IMG.zip
“Flash latest ruu thru hboot: http://dinc.does-it.net/Stock_Images...15/PB31IMG.zip”
anyway
now it takes about 4 minutes to get past the eye portion of the bootup, then I get “sorry the application bla bla bla has stopped unexpectedly.
please try again. this happens to what must be every app on my phone.
even if I go to settings I get the same thing “sorry the application.........

PS phone has never been rooted.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458066&page=2
Then I tried this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2215233
I downloaded and flashed? I put it on my formatted SD card and it loaded
I was excited because things were loading in hboot the file PB31IMG.zip
“Flash latest ruu thru hboot: http://dinc.does-it.net/Stock_Images...15/PB31IMG.zip”
anyway
now it takes about 4 minutes to get past the eye portion of the bootup, then I get “sorry the application bla bla bla has stopped unexpectedly.
please try again. this happens to what must be every app on my phone.
even if I go to settings I get the same thing “sorry the application.........
I just don’t know what to do.

The incredible (ADR6300) is on the www.htcdev.com/bootloader unlocker site, under HTC Droid Incredible *. Best bet is to unlock and flash a recovery, then from recovery do a full wipe. That is if it lets you, i have a feeling you will get errors formating both /data and /cache. If so its pretty much unfixable. There is a mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175346, that will mount /data and /cache to seperate partitions on your sdcard. This makes the phone a little slower, especially booting. But a slow phone is better than no phone, if you cant get a new one. If you need any help just post back.
Does this mean I'm rooting my phone?

Will I be putting myself at higher risk of Radio Frequency?
I appreciate the time you’ve put aside to respond to me. Thank you
I will try to follow your directions and will let you know what happens.
I’m at the HTCdev site and reading up on how to do the unlocking.
Thanks

Yes you are rooting your phone. Im not sure what you mean by higher risk of radio frequency? If your on hboot 1.02 or 1.07, you can skip the ruu bootloader update part of the htcdev site and proceed to the next step.
yes I have 1.07 so I can skip the ruu bootloader update

oops radio frequency I meant SAR values, and I don’t expect an answer for that. I read the attached paragraph on the HTC site and got concerned.
PS this phone is used for Wi-Fi only, no data plan.
Anyway back to the good stuff.
I’m attaching a picture of my hboot screen, so yes I have 1.07 so I can skip the ruu bootloader update part but I’m unsure how to proceed from here. Am I still rooting my phone? what’s next? I’m really nube at all of this. Will I be returning to the HTC site or somewhere else?
Thanks again for your time.

At the bottom of the ruu update page there should be a proceed / continue button. Click on that and it should move on to having you get an identifier code from your phone, to send to htc.

The ruu update page can you attach a link? I’m not sure where that is or what I am doing, What am I doing now flashing rom?
I don't even know what that means. If I’m doing it from the computer or from my SD card. Can you please clarify?
I read your post about using, “There is a mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2175346”, on the SD card”. Simply Amazing

It seems that htc has removed the ruu bootloader update part of the unlock process. Probably because the latest ota should make everyone have an unlockable hboot already. So just do all the steps 1 - 10.
You are not flashing a rom, at least not yet. A rom is basicly an opperating system like windows.
Right now you are getting an identifier token from your phone which you submit to htc in step 10. They will email you back another code with instructions, which you will enter into the phone using hboot and a cmd prompt on your pc.
Just follow all those steps on htcdev and then we will go from there. In your spare time you should read up on rooting and roms and custom recoveries, so that you have some clue of how your phones going to work once were done.
Here I am at HTCdev

Well here I am at HTCdev trying to do step 1, I Select my Device and click Begin Unlock Bootloader. Then I get this dialog box, “Do you wish to continue?” I click yes and nothing happens, I wait, and wait, then click no and it responds by going back to the prior page where you select your device. So I tried selecting other devices and none of them work, sounds like a problem on their site. So I’m at a stand still maybe you can try it and see if step 1 will work for you? by the way I only see 5 steps, like the Attached Thumbnail I uploaded in post #3. also must be a common problem for htcdev just google htcdev and see the results of autocomplete (Thumbnail).
Update 4/29/13: I think I found the 10 steps, checkout this video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyRxI15CUnA
This is what i'm trying to do right?,he recommends getting SDK tools too, is this what I should do? In taking your advice to read up on... I googled "rooting and roms and custom recoveries" that's how I found the video.
Unfortunately I still get the same result at the HTCdev site, can you please see if you have the same issue I do at the HTCdev site?
Thanks

Update to my last post. had to use a different email account in order to receive the unlock bootloader key file.
so now I have it, now and I think I need driver(s) because when the phone is in hboot and I plug it in to the computer via usb cable, the task bar shows Installing device driver software, but a couple of seconds later shows Device driver software was not successfully installed. Tried goggling around and found this http://androidforums.com/incredible-all-things-root/171178-64-bit-android-usb-drivers.html
I also have a Windows 7 64-bit system and not sure how to extract them out of the SDK Manager.

No, I need your help with link(s) to where I need to go to get the right recovery like you did for the driver(s). Bam done.

I don't want to waste time guessing things and messing up stuff with problematic recovery's. I need one that works even for the novice. I want to get my phone up and running. It's amazing I've come this far.
Thanks to you of course.
I could really use your guidance.

Download this http://dinc.does-it.net/Recoveries/TWRP_2.5.0.0/recovery.img to your pc and place it in the same folder as fastboot.exe and the unlock_code.bin. Put the phone in fastboot mode. Open a cmd prompt in your pc and type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You should now have twrp recovery installed. To get to it pull the battery, reinsert, and then hold vol down and power untill hboot comes up. Then navigate to recovery and select it. Once in recovery select wipe and then advanced and select everything except sdcard and emmc, then swipe the bar to start the wipe. We will go from there depending on what happens.
Ready for the next step.

Well it looks like everything wiped ok, your partitions are probably fine. So you can just flash a rom of your choosing. Check out the dev section, there are tons of roms there including stock rooted roms if you want to keep the original feel.
Should I install SuperSU?

1 first screen HTC Incredible
2 teamwin loading screen
3 teamwin main screen, to shut down, I tap reboot
4 at the Reboot Menu I select Power Off then....
5 No OS Installed, “Are you sure you wish to continue” and I Swipe to Power Off.
6 Then I see Install SuperSU, which Roots phone. Should I do this?
Should I install SuperSU?, I tap Do Not Install because I’m not sure what to do.
I want to install the operating system you have or a stock version, Touch Of Blue V3.0
At the dev site I was looking at kernel is that the same as rom?
Can you please guide me with links, let me know which way we are going and how to do it.
Thanks

As the thread title says, I can't access recovery on my ZE551ML...
I recently wiped the custom ROM (SuperZen) and installed LP and then MM...all working good, no problems...then rooted and unlocked the bootloader and attempted to install TWRP and now can't access recovery mode...this means that I am unable to install TWRP....have tried to install using the TWRP app but no go...
Also, another issue I am having is trying to copy files to the SDCard...I get a permission problem that I can't get access when I have installed SUPERSU and have rooted the phone and X-plore has root access and so has ES file explorer...

in the general section above , there is a bl unlock modder tool by giovix specifically works only on M , set it up ..use return to stock option, flash boot.img ,then flash recovery.
Then , re unlock the boot loader option ,just in case
Then flash twrp option
Then root option.
You will be fine

The sd card prob i have too but i know mine is driver conflicts which i have to live with , on my spare un-updated lappy with windows 10 , all is fine. Plus share link app allows to and thro to any sd from pc and vice versa ok.
Maybe ,you flash back stock boot.img - recovery with the modder tool . Return to complete MM stock.
See if anything you did was a little something wrong

Im facing same recovery problem, unable to install it on my ZE550ML (6.0.1), it flashes fine but it wont go to recovery from bootloader, i can only go into recovery from android using adb command but that too takes me to stock recovery, i dont know why stock recovery comes back lol
EDIT: i found out what i was doing wrong, my bootloader got locked during something nd i didnt knew, unlocked it again nd everything works fine now!
I have now gone beyond the meagre problem of not being able to copy to the SD Card...I attempted to root the phone and now have soft bricked it...I am able to get to a recovery menu of sorts but when I try and sideload using ADB I get "device not found"...have been trawling the web for hours looking for a fix
