We will check if S8530 will follow... soon... its also easier for me.
As my Test S8500 is damaged... and soldered with wires to JTAG...
Remember latest Beta KJ1 is for both same time available...
S8500 is the first bada handset.

Maybe my fault...
This is "Release Candidate" because not official downloadable over Kies.
But on Samsung Kies Server.
Because available in Test Mode...
This means. Samsung internal Beta tests are finished.
See Release of S8600 Firmware too...
"We", especially I not know, if exact this Version will be the Final Release over Kies.
But there is 1 month between KJ1 and KK5, so I think there shoud be some Bugs fixed... maybe.

I've tried, but for me no update... only tried via WLAN. No active SIM...

just checked for OTA update but no luck. it says no updates available. May br because i am in Asia and the firmware is Europian. Some one from Europian rsgion please check it.
Anyway downloading the file from samfirmware. Thanx to him for bringing this RC.

Noticed some changes in GTalk. Previously we are not able to click on links in gtalk but now we can which open web browser a very desired feature for me. also notification tone changed.

I have tried to add polaris office but phone gets in reboot cycle. May be my fault or some new kind of protection?? can someone check this??

3.Turn of and on your phone,make sure u are on wi-fi and let it for 1 min

Just Upgraded my Samsung Wave 1 (S8500) with Bada 1.0 to Bada 2.01.
This upgrade was a two step process :
1. Upgrade to Bada 1.2
2. Upgrade from 1.2 to 2.0
If you have any doubts regarding the upgrade steps, errors during upgrade, or post upgrade features, I can probably help you guys.

This is the message I go to update my phone. The thing is once all the files are finished downloading, Kies gives me an error saying the phone was not recognized. (This happens when the installation part comes)
I tried it for several times, but it keeps on giving me the same error.
What should be the matter?
Is there any ways of upgrading it manually (without kies)?

SW ver: S8500XIKA1
CSC ver: S8500ITVKA1
* I bought it from Italy and using it in Sri Lanka... (I don't know whether it is useful or not)

My brother gave me his phone. S8500
he bought it in Saudi Arabia but now m in Latvia. I tried to upload the firmware to 2.0 but there is no availaible when i try it says that the current version is JPKG1/JPKE2(KSA)
please tell me how to uppdate it via Kies.

Is possible to come back to bada 1.2? Bada 2 is good, but it needs too much ram and my phone keeps crash when u use more than an app :s so I want to downgrade

There is no such update on the Nokia firmware server... yet. Just checked with NaviFirm+ and DPM. The latest reported version for all product codes is 11.1.1.

Probably because the OTA and DPM servers contain different images. DPM servers contain full images and the OTA servers contain only updates (which obviously are not full images). It may take some time for the full images to be prepared.

That shouldn't be a problem, mine got rooted on 11.1.1 then received OTA update 1.1.2.2 after installing this I'm losing superuser access.
i notice significant improvement on performance while using dialer, and typing on keyboard :thumbup:

Hey everyone! A new Update has been released for the Galaxy S3 Neo (07.07.2015). It's not available in all countrys right now but it doesn't matter because it's all the same.
I'm downloading it right now so i can't tell what's new in this update.

Samsung won't release a new version update for the S3 Neo. It always gets updates for 4.4.2. So it's basically not the same.

Yeah Samsung UK already said that the S3 Neo will not get a official lollipop update, i really hope it isn't true, but after 2. 4.4.2 based updates, i think that we stuck with it.

In my opinion stock 4.4.4 is a crap. So please don't expect samsung to give you that crap. If i am wrong tell me how much time it took google to move it to 5.0??? I want an update but not 4.4.4. I am happy with 4.4.2.

No franchise or regional head office has the full authorisation to announced final answer to our questions. When galaxy tab 4 7.0 is going to get that lollipop update then why our device wouldn't? Come on
Change the way of your thinkings. Every thing is possible. We are customers not the CEOs or MDs or MGs, don't put false results according to one email or fast chat answers made with samsung.

Yes, i already tried it. It's nothing special though. The Setup screen background has changed a bit and there are some minor changes to the keyboard (for specific languages).
But it still has the same design and same apps.

When will the s3 neo receive lollopop?
They haven't forgotten about us and how come they keep updating our devices they may give lollipop update soon?

I think - there will be no update to lillipop for S3 Neo+ (I9301I).

the only solution we have is to port lollipop from S5mini.

Problem is all firmwares are sadly multi CSC on Frija,
i was downloading BTU and get again DBT sadly.
If someone got an advice to me how to get a real UK firmware flashed i do it instandly an get the files for everybody.

I was on BTU TJ4 with of course, an UK SIM card (Vodafone PAYG)
There were like 5 notifications on Samsung Members about the new beta and it was very easy to sign up (as usual for any Samsung beta)

HTTP Canary gives me the full link while it is still downloading, but either should work fine, you will see it generate the URL in the small window lower right once you start the download and http canary is running in the background (Small PIP window appears)
