Androidmaster1 knows his stuff but there is a sticky in the devolpement section with links to videos... either route is cool I guess... next time please search because there are like 4 of these threads already... and trust me I hate to be the guy to say it but with all the recent big changes around here the epic forum has become very cluttered! Thanks.

when you root your phone, you get full administrative access to your phone. so you can change"ANYTHING" on your phone. you just have to be very cautions when doing so, and read read read read read, and ask QUESTIONS.

You should do some of the newer ones. I've flashed the aosp themed one and the venom and they are quick and data seems to not lag as much when using 4g.

If you have the rotation issue, use a t989 kernel instead of a skyrocket kernel.
FYI
If you don't know what section this goes in I believe it has been mentioned somewhere, "Read Me 1st" to put them in the General Section and the Mod will move it. Read before posting.

Im guessing you have the newest version on it, which has patches in it that no one has been able to root yet.
So for now... you cant.
I bought mine a few weeks ago and it had the older version firmware then I got an update and now its not rootable.
Just gotta wait and hope someone gets bored and figures it out.

this seems like alot to ask but im not very confident with the entire S-off and tacoroot processes required for rooting the newest version of the stock software of the HTC Droid Incredible 2. Im more of a Motorola type person and have never had a HTC phone and Im asking if someone could possibly make a tacoroot and s-off walkthrough video for 6.01.605.05 710RD software version of the Dinc2. I have not found one on the internet any reply, video, video link, would be very helpful. I have looked through numerous forums and am not confident undertaking the process on my own. Again thank you for even reading this, anything would be helpful
