Look for "Shooter" roms. That's HTCs name for the Evo 3D and that's what the devs call roms based on it.
I know Joel made one that received high praise.

I just want a smaller phone the thunderbolt is a great phone with great development but I just need something smaller. I had one for a week but returned it and got the charge then traded it for the tb and now I know what I want.

To tell u the truth there is no best rom kernel set up every phone reacts different there r no 2 evos alike. The only thing i can say depending on what your looking for in a rom ics sense or whatever try them out and see what fits u better. U can try tommytomatoes classic,digitalkarmas 7.77, jamieg71 reloaded .44. Those r my top 3.
