I've been trying to use touch talk in the car with my dock but the phone is to sensitive. It just activates itself over and over again. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, is there a easy to fix it?

Touch Talk
I am not sure about touch talk but when I put the epic 4 touch into the car dock for the first time it kept going to the "what would you like to do" voice talk screen. I learned that I had to turn off double tap under motion settings. I guess the car dock was activating the this motion wake up command.

I have always wondered one thing about the in call screen that always pissed me off, the proximity sensor doesn't always work. My question is that why is it that when you receive a phone call you have to swipe to answer or ignore but all it takes to hang up during a call is one simple end call button? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I have accidentally hung up on sooo many people because of this.

Does anyone know of a solution to this?

Not google voice the actual voice commands like answering or rejecting a phonecall. It was in language and input on ics but I dont see it on Jellybean

Double tap the home button to open s-voice, then go to settings of s-voice. Then go to control apps. I believe that is what your looking for.

Edit: control apps, not voice controls in s-voice settings...
You have to have vibrate turned off too, which makes it a no go for me.

Thanks I found it.
Very annoying that text pops up telling you that you can use voice commands within camera, alarm, when a call comes through etc.

I brought this up a while back when the s3 came out.. There has to be a way to modify it to work also when on vibrate.
I keep my phone on vibrate around 80% of the time so I can never use them either.
But I have found out that the voice commands still work on camera even with vibrate on, which leads me to believe it can be enabled on the other commands some how ... I don't know how to program and all that but I would be willing to help in anyway to get it working on vibrate mode

Anyone else notice that the new S voice app won't respond to voice commands when the screen lock is on?
This wasn't the case on the Note 1.
With this new behavior, I can't initiate calls using earphones hands free.

Slight clarification: it's actually not the screen lock that prevents the S voice app from activating, rather it's the display shutting off. If I press the power key while the screen is locked to turn on the display, the S voice app works fine.

I noticed that on my lock screen, when I have pushed the home or power button to light it up, I get the "Voice Not Recognized" message, even though I tell it to wake up ("unlock phone") or even launch the camera ("open camera") If I have it set to respond accordingly to those voice commands, why doesn't it? At the moment I have battery indicator pro app which just disables the lockscreen altogether so it is a non-issue at the moment, but I really would like to get the voice unlock thingie to work as it should.
Ever since I went to MC2 (rooted stock) from LP7, this has been an extremely irritating problem. Every time I make a call, either through the dialer, or through Skype, once the screen times out, it can never be woken up. That means I cannot hang up the call or use the keypad, etc.
This is outrageously annoying. I have tried changing the inactivity timeout as well as smart-stay-awake but no matter what I am stuck with this stupid problem. Has anyone else seen this and know how to fix it?
Most likely a faulty proximity sensor.

Open your phone and blow air near the proximity sensor

Or just fix the motion settings.
I had the same issue. I had to unroot and take it to sprint 2 days ago and they replaced the screen and is good now

It is in your owners manual. Just saying.

Hit menu button. Go into settings and turn on voice wake. Will not work with lock screen engaged

And how does the always on part work? I can get s-voice to work when the phone is off. I can get it to respond when I'm in the app. But it doesn't work when I'm doing anything else. Someone help me get my always on working like yours.

It only always works when screen is off. If screen is on you must double tap home button.

I found this feature out by accident and Ya it's a cool feature but just wished s voice was more accurate. A few times I had to repeat myself and sometimes it won't get what I'm saying at all. So sometimes I'll just tell it to launch voice search since that can pick up what I'm saying much better.
