AAA, ok, I had not seen. This is damage to more talk.

Pretty much.

You didn't even need to search, that thread is on the first page.

For RickyJune

I think this is what you were after. If you unzip it and put the folders in your main memory (windows, programs or somewhere similar) you can use them as tray apps.
If its not what you wanted the answer is i don't know
Noticed you've had ringtone troubles. try the cab
And why couldn't this be done in a PM? was it really needed to start a new thread?
For Austinsync
Bless you really are quite bored aren't you. Thought they might be helpful to more than one person to answer your question.

He may be trying to increase his post count, but he had a valid point.
Johnston411 answered a question previously asked by Rickyjune. This was presumably asked in a thread or post in this forum so why wasn't the answer posted there to share with anyone reading that post?

Ah ok - have done the same myself, so appologies.
As for PM's - I don't have a problem with answering them but I normally check out who they are from - but I DO have a problem with PM's from people who ask questions they are too lazy to research awnswer to. I'll also try to find a relevant post to attach the answer to if not PM'd back.

Fair comment. Didn't think to check for a relevant post to stick it in. Will bear it in mind in the future.

Text sound

I recently upgraded to WM6.1 and I can't seem to add the sounds I want for Text Messages.
Either they changed something, or I forgot a step.
Help please

If he did a search he wouldn't needed to make a pointless thread , I wouldn't made a post without an answer, and you wouldn't have made a smartass comment like you know it all. How long did it take you to search for that thread link you posted? I'm sure it would've taken krucifix the same amount of time it took you.

I didn't make a smartass comment until you told me that if I was posting that I should give an answer. The difference between you and I is that I contribute to the forum and I don't make comments about people posting without giving the answers and even after all my time here I still search for answers rather that making threads. The point I'm trying to say is we need people to do some research on the forum for their problems and try to solve them themselves instead of expecting to be given the answers to everything. There is a high percentage that an issue has been covered and resolved on the past and if people would search they could get an answer without the need of a new thread of a topic that is on another thread. Peace..

Spoon-feeding people does nothing to help. If there too lazy to search first before asking, what good do they add to the community? And if he upgraded to 6.1, shouldn't that question have been addressed in the rom thread he's using? Why does it deserve its on special thread when it related to a rom he's using that has its own thread? It was stupid to start a new thread, regardless of whether or not someone gave him the answer. BTW, did you just pull that link out of your head, or did you have to search for it/him?
Imagine yourself lost and ask someone for help but only to get a reply like: "Why don't you learn to read a map dumbass." Tell them what they need and then teach them how to find things themselves.

No No No, people need to use the search then ask for help if the knowledge they are looking for is not available to which considering how much info is on XDA then the answer is generally there..... If not then make a post in the correct thread!!!
We are here to help not spoon-feed.......
show:
He had to search as we know a better answer

That's what I was trying to do, show him the way to answering it himself, but somehow I came out like an ahole

Thats what it is like, its not that he doesn't have a map, he just isn't using it.

[Q] Substitute APNews on Bada 2.0

Hi guys!
Just one question. Have you ever tried changing APNews widget rss for any other one?
I've have tried modifying an .ini file with Trix, changing the apnews rss for another one, but reboot bucle happens when trying to connect from the the widget.
Has anyone succeed in this or has the key to do it correctly.
Thanks in advance. Happy new year, by the way!
No one?
I'm sorry but you are not in the right section to post here that type of question.
Here it is discussions about the android project on wave I and II.
This thread have to be moved to Bada software discussions.

I didn't know that link. Thanx so much.
However, it was just a deal of improving my knowledge at the time of modifying firmwares. Just to know if I could change that fixed widget as almost no one in Spain is aware of that AP News Rss.
If you somehow know what to modify, please, let me know.
Thanks again

Nope, that's for new forum requests. OP is asking for something different.
This would be a @bitpushr (possibly @MikeChannon) thing.

Oh okay, I thought that it needs a forum, if it should be added there.

Possibly both correct.
You can't select a device in profiles if the device does not have a dedicated set of forums.
So to be able to get a set of forums it would need a request in the forum request thread. For that to stand a chance of being added though (it not being a new device), there would need to be quite a few threads already created (I do see a few but.....)
If there are some threads, (let's say between 20 and 60) then we might not add a forum but we might add a special tag so users can find them together via device search.

Sorry, my mistake. I had assumed that if you read the earlier post, you would have realized that this issue has already been talked about and therefore it would be pointless to make a new topic asking for the same thing. Especially since not doing so is in accordance with XDA rules:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting or creating a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's very likely that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.
