[Q]Corrupt Backup?

Hello everyone,
I recently flashed my GN to stock 4.0.2 and then went to restore a previous backup of 4.0.1 to my phone. The restore process went fine except for my pictures and videos. I backed up my phone from the Galaxy Nexus toolkit V5.3. I know that I should have known better as it does warn you but I was in a rush when I backed up my phone
I attached a picture below of what appears in the gallery. Only thumbnails appear but when you tap the pictures, it just loads forever.
So does know how I can extract open the .bak or somehow restore the pictures and videos to my phone?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Did u delete the thumbnails?

Where dos stock Android store the homescreen backup files?

I know this seems like a really silly question, but I can't figure it out. I have tried Google but all I get (with any query i try) is old threads and utilities for backing up, not where the stock "backup/restore homescren" files are for our phones. help! I backed up my homescreen before a restore and the stock backup app homescreen restore didn't work, and I would just like to know where the OS keeps it. thanks!

Photo and video recovery help

Hey everyone! Today I was clearing up some memory on my phone and deleted a folder that had all of my photos and videos in. I am in desperate need to get these photos and videos back! I have looked on here and found some programs but either they did not work or I had to pay to recover the files. Can anyone please help me out? By the way, I am on android 4.3 if that helps at all.
Can anyone please help?

Is it OK to remove the stock calendar?

I have the Korean 6gb Tab S4 and the stock calendar is a little weird. It has some Korean stuff that won't translate (holidays, alternative holidays and government mandatory observances) plus the date is a little weird.
I tried a manually updating it and it wouldn't let me, it said it was already up to date. The app numbers are also different.
Anyway I was thinking of replacing it with the latest stock Samsung calendar from apk mirror. Do you think it is safe to Uninstall it? It won't let me from the stock app manager, but I could from titanium backup. My concern with that is that calendar storage (app/apk) would likely be effected as well. I'm just not sure what deleting and installing the apk mirror version of the calendar app will do to system stability.
Can anyone please advise me?
If there is a better forum for this question please let me know and I will post this question in the other forum.
Thank you for your consideration.

Simply,before uninstalling take a backup
Also, you can backup any application very easily without root using an application from playstore - "share apps"
you can reset the application whenever you like

Thank you!
I'll do it. I need to wait until I'm around a trustworthy computer and I'll try deleting it.

How to recover deleted memo?

Hi! First time posting and I really hope anyone can help me.
So, stupid me had a problem with memo app on my xiaomi (I couldnt place memo notes on my homepage anymore) so I thought maybe if I delete all the app updates from settings it would restore the problem back and I could place those memo again on my home page... Well it didnt solve my problem, plus now all of my memo are gone
I am trying to recover them, unfortunately I have no backup and they're not on any bin or anything... Is there some way to recover them with an app / pc?
I really need to have the content of those memo back

i'm not fumiliar with miui memo, but most memo apps store the notes on internal storage
check the internal storage folders and see if you find something
