I've been having problems with PhotoID, when it comes to assigning photos to people, stability of the system in general, and when re-syncing.
Here are my issues with it:
1. I assign a photo for contacts #1 through #20 (example number), then I go to contact #21 and he/she already has a photo! The same photo as contact #2 (just for example purposes, number might not correspond to reality). - odd- I change the image in #21 and the image in #2 is changed too! argh - anyway
2. When I sync (on a mac) my photos dont come with the contacts so I need to re-assign contact photos in PhotoID.
3. I've head that it destabilizes the system.
Now, I've heard about Photo Contacts and visited the website. I am thinking of removing PhotoID and installing Photo Contacts. Do users have any positive/negative experiences they want to share? Should I stick with PhotoID or is Photo Contacts really worth it's money?
Does photo contacts also do ringtones ?
in my honest opinion: IA Caller ID/ Photo Contacts is a load of crap
but thats just me, I guess

I got Photo contacts pro and it is quite stable. Also has nice feature where if you name your contact photo to same name as contact and then collect in one folder, you can auto attach all contact photos to those contacts. Also does diff ringtones for dif contacts. Only thing missing is Animated gif file support.
I'm currently using Photo Contacts Pro and a cooked ROM of course on a Tilt 2 with "Energy Titanium" rom. Is there any way to use my third-party caller ID and ringtone program (PocketX Photo Contacts Pro 5.11) as the default ringtone and caller ID management program? I dont know how to override the default ringers and Caller ID pictures...
I'm a little new at this so take it easy on me...
Referring to contacts in the call log that do not have a picture assigned to them.
Is there meaning behind the background color of the default contact picture?

Would it be possible to alter the way the dialler displays a contact's picture when a call is being made/received?
At the moment, it takes up the full screen and looks horrible if you use the google contact picture.

I still don't get why Android doesnt have this built-into the gmail app, but whenever you send a picture from the camera/gallery to gmail, it sends the whole picture without asking for resize.
I use Image shrink lite right now to do the job, but am wondering what everyone is using?
Key features are respecting Aspect Ratio and not using a worthless resize algo.
