Agrabren is one of the members of TeamWin, he's very good with dealing with hardware level drivers. He is one of the devs of the HDMI mirroring project that the EVO 4g has. He is also one of the devs that worked on the TWRP and TWRP 2.0.
He's very welcome to bring his dev skills to the E4GT, we'll see how much time he has to dedicate to the E4GT vs. the E3D that he's been working with lately.

not taking away from his awesomeness but we should be clear with the facts.
Still, the evo3d was HTC's best effort to keep the devs out. Anyone who cracked that phone has my respect.

For those of you who don't know, RootzWiki sends developers/themers phones.
All i know is when the evo3d came out he was doing great things with teamwin then another group after awhile got root.
I used his root for my evo 3d and just had him on follow on twitter from back in those days so this is why i posted this because i follow his twitter.
But this will be good for us and i am not trying to put anyone down who is working on it now.Just when you get people who have been doing this for awhile come help it makes you feel good.
The more the better in my book and thanks also to the ones doing it now.

Very, obviously he is not cyanogen he is agrabren lol. It is nice to see him get one even though I would rather see toast get it as he is actually a Rom/kernel dev.

That gets us one step closer to CM though...and I kinda hate CWM. Bad memories from the Evo4G. I've heard that it's all been taken care of, but, I'll taken Amon Ra and TWRP over it any day. Call me superstitious.

Even for experienced developers it's a pretty serious undertaking, you would have to write the drivers for the entire Rom.
It sounds like @ahmgsk_mod is gonna work on it after MIUI, but it's not even alpha yet. It says on his twitter

Hmm, yeah see... about that whole writing drivers thing... lol that would take a lot of time to learn. I mean midNight rom amazes me and I actually am starting to try other roms out to see what i like best. midNight is still my fave! And I definately support his cause. Next on my list is a custom splash that I would like to make myself.
EDIT: By the way, not saying i wouldnt want to learn how to write drivers, but I am FAR from being ready to dev.

No mention of 4G but him and his team (TeamWIN) were the ones to bring Wimax to CM7 for the Evo so we can only hope for the best... he DID mention on this twitter that he will be moving off on his own for the project.
Personally, I'll be more than happy with a working CM9 for our device - it's just going to scream with our specs. Besides, I'm almost never on 4G anyway.

Update: We’ve heard back from Samsung and it looks like the rollout will start later this week: “The ICS update will be available this week and will continue rolling out to devices and carriers throughout the quarter.”
I guess you have to wait, or you might be in luck and get it.

That thread was created for all ICS talk and speculation. And the rogers official isn't even out yet.
Telus is the only Canadian carrier to carry the S2 X.

I've done it for a few years (23 on & off fwiw). It's not a fun task balancing what the users want vs what's actually good for the community vs what generates revenue.
Honestly though, it's mostly busywork taking care of reported threads. j/k

I left sprint and went to a rezound then RAZR maxx. So glad i did. My wife won't leave sprint because she loves her gs2 so much...sprint isn't super great in my area. Verizon dominates. I can't wait for the gs3 to hit so i can get her on my plan. The et4g is very nice. If it would have been on Verizon I could already have switched her but hey, gs3! I take one.

In all seriousness, and taking no jabs at OP, I could understand posts like this for high profile people (Devs, Mods, Themers, etc) who were leaving but only because their departure would have a direct impact on the community. For example, I wish I had known SteadyHawkin was leaving us for the GNex because he did a lot for us and deserved a big send off.
Other than that I can't imagine why people feel the need to post they're leaving unless they just really need some sort of recognition that they were here to begin with. For whatever reason, I hope everyone is happy with their choices regardless if they stay or go.

First off I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section.... what I am looking for is a rom that will make my connection speed faster my download speed sucks I am also looking for a rom that will boat my signal when using my hotspot. I believe you're posting this in the wrong section. As I understand it, this section is for releases and discussing ROM and application development related to the Evo 4G. More generally, this section is for developers and for developers to offer support for their developments, i.e., if you're not a developer, then you're probably in the wrong section if you're starting a thread here.

To answer your question, I would recommend my ROM because I believe it is the greatest ROM to have ever been released in the history of all ROM releases.
First, this should be in Q&A, second, click the link in my signature for my guide, look for v6 supercharger, follow the link (It might be at the bottom of the OP), just run 3G supercharger.

If I was looking for a ROM to flash, I would first list what you want in a ROM...go through all the ROMs in the first 3-4 pages of the development section (that should cut the list down to a few) then try a few and make up your own mind! Don't listen to anyone on here because to be honest, all the devs are going to say that their ROM is the fastest and that is so FAST that it does this and that......and the fanboys (follower of ROMs) will tell you the same thing! You can't believe anything that is said because everything is in that person's opinion! Quad scores don't mean **** either so don't go off that.....hahahahaha

I heard that. Presonally I think all of the roms in the 4g forum are the best, even the ones that suck are the best. But out of all of the best ones even the ones that suck I like JellyBean the best.
