Why does cm7 call the Dinc2 the vivow?

Because thats its "code name" lol. The Incredible S is the Vivo, and the Incredible 2 is the Vivo W.

much like how the HTC Droid Eris is code named "desirec"

And HTC Hero is heroc. HD2 is Leo. And HD7 is Trophy.

Yeah, there aren't any. Why do you need 2.3.7?
