Why does cm7 call the Dinc2 the vivow?
Sent from my Incredible 2 using XDA Premium App
Because thats its "code name" lol. The Incredible S is the Vivo, and the Incredible 2 is the Vivo W.
much like how the HTC Droid Eris is code named "desirec"
And HTC Hero is heroc. HD2 is Leo. And HD7 is Trophy.

Since the dinc2 is global capable does that mean I can put a boost mobile sim in it and it will have service?

No.

While the Dinc2 will not work, the Inc S may. You will have to check if the radio frequencies match up though!
Can I try to unlock the dinc 2
Sent from my ADR6350 using XDA App
You can call Verizon and they will give you the sim unlock code.

I just want a smaller phone the thunderbolt is a great phone with great development but I just need something smaller. I had one for a week but returned it and got the charge then traded it for the tb and now I know what I want.

Bolt sucks the battery too and the dinc2 Roms are more stable imo

Look for "Shooter" roms. That's HTCs name for the Evo 3D and that's what the devs call roms based on it.
I know Joel made one that received high praise.

O I didn't no that was a EVO 3D port ha I had that ROM tho

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a kernel that I can use with the viperINC Rom that will help overclock to at least 1.5GHz?

Click to collapse
No. The source for the kernel has not been released. If you are having lag issues look into the v6 script.
