[Q] How to flash Clockworkmod into my ET4G - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Hi guys i joined the forum today and i wanted to know how can i flash clockwork mod into my ET4G. I just rooted the phone 2 days ago and when i try going into my recovery it says "failed to verify whole-file signature" and "signature verification failed", "installation aborted". Can some one help me out with this ive been trying to flash a rom and i cant. Thank in Advance.

Try flashing a different rooted kernel through odin. Most of the rooted kernels have cwm built in.

[Q] Signature Verification Failed to root my HTC desire

Hi guys,
I recently got myself a HTC Desire a8181.
Im trying to flash a custom rom. 4.2.2
But whenever i flash, or a superwipe or any other rom which i try to flash,

Any help please? :crying:
Turn off signature verification, or install a different recovery. Use either 4ext or twrp.

[Q] Cant install rom after installing Probam N7105

I installed probam(4.4.2) rom on my phone about a week ago, was having trouble with it so i tryed to wipe everything and install Skynote Air Rom (4.3). but everytime i go to install i get
"installing update..."
"format() expects 5 args got 3"
"E: error in /storage/sdcard1/Roms/Sky_Note_Air.zip"
"(status 7)"
"installation Aborted"
so after that failed i tried odin to go to complete stock firmware and re-root and get CWM recovery and now its just running stock
Now i have done a little Research but im getting mixed answers, some say its the recovery, but others say its because i need to re-partion my phone.
tried philz recovery, and TWRP but both with same error
If it needs re-partioning how would i go about doing it without bricking my phone
any help would be very appreciated
Thanks
...hello there...I suggest this steps...
1) check if your phone is rooted correctly (use GalaxyNote2Root)
2) flash Philz recovery over Odin (use philz_touch_6.02.1-n7100)
3) Try with some custom ROM that have Aroma instalation like (use Sotmax_Ultimate_Stock_V14_XXUEMK4_HD_AR)
Regards...

[Q] Can't Flash - Teamwin error flashing zip

Trying to flash several ROMs on the latest version of Teamwin, and even a lower version after reading that it helped someone. Had to use ODIN recently and went back to a bone stock ROM, and now I rooted it and am trying to flash a custom ROM. Trying the latest SlimROM, Liquid, CM11, no luck.
Teamwin is saying "E: Error in /external_sdcard/ROM NAME
(Status 7)
Error flashing zip ' /external_sdcard/ROM NAME
Updating partition details. . ."
Any ideas before I re-ODIN my phone and go back to using a stock ROM?
Alright, I installed a JB stock ROM with bootloader via ODIN and I'll use this until tomorrow when I have more time. I'll re-root it, get a proper 4.3 ROM and give it a shot.
Did you give CWM a try?
Is there a reason your trying to use twr specifically?

HTC One X

Hi guys
I'm having some trouble with my HOX. I`m currently running a rooted droid running android revolution 33.1. I have CWM 6.0.3.2 as my current recovery and am trying to update to 6.0.4.8 so I can put slimkat 9.0 on my HOX. As I understand it the slimkat rom requires SELinux support for the rom to run and the latest version of CWM has this.
I have tried flashing the update using flashify and rom manager. Both say they have flashed correctly, however when i boot into recovery my version is still the current one im running. I have also tried using fastboot to flash the new recovery and it keeps coming up with "unknown error" in windows CMD. I have also tried apply update.zip from the recovery and i keep getting the error message "E: Can't open /sdcard/update.zip no such file or directory". And the zip file i made is just called "recovery" and NOT "recovery.zip". I know this has caused trouble for other people, so this was the first thing I checked.
So I have a few questions. These are: Why fastboot won't flash the new recovery/why I get the error message "E: Can't open /sdcard/update.zip no such file or directory"/ would i have to revert to stock rom and recovery and relock so I could re root the HOX and install the latest recovery.
Any and all help is welcome and greatly appreciated.
