Anyone notice this issue after .283 or .42 update?
I tried downgrading and I get the numbers back, but when I upgrade it, it turns out to be like this.
Wow! 100+ views and no one noticed this?
What one person considers an issue doesn't mean everyone else will.

I'm asking whether it's common for everyone! Do you mind?
I don't have that bug

Is it make your arc strange or something? If no, then it means okay
No such issues on my .42 SG firmware.
Thanks for the replies and guess I'm the only one here with this issue and not sure it has anything to do with the recent reception issue I'm experiencing after the upgrade!

Try reading the threads on the subject, as that's all it will take to fix it.

Don't create another thread for an existing issue . This is get you nowhere. Wait for the developers to comeback.
I guess for now its the only thing that could be done out of simplicity,
when I sent my phone in I flashed back to the Rogers 2.3.3 / .145 firmware. I get my phone back on OCT 17th, so I'll let you guys know what's up by then

Not even needed, and again, have a read of the numerous threads on the issue and you'll find methods to resolve it.

Hi.
I thought there is no solvation of the problem until now. Only thing is to use an old firmware with a patch, which makes the battery show only 1 percent all the time and the phone stays on without charging.
Or is there something i am missing?
Thanks,
Marco
According to all the threads I've read sending the phone to SE for repairs is the only viable solution, at least if you're still on warranty. That includes the thread linked to in this thread.

I've read the threads both here and in the Neo forum, and have found no good solution. What search parameters should I use to find this secret thread with all the answers?
I put my Arc to SE as this happened to me and i am getting a straight replacement as my handset is less than 28 days old, though when speaking to SE on the phone they said they are aware of the problem and working towards a solution aswell, and i told him of all the users on xda with same problem and they know about it and acknowledged the work of the developers on here trying to solve it also
Seems like SE is watching the forum to some degree, nice to know that they not only support devs but watch what were all upto

No need to get aggresive, but yes, if that thread was a rattlesnake, it would have bitten him like a dozen times, and yet he wouldn't have noticed.
...which leads to the thread I've already commented...
In case I really am a dumbass and you're NOT talking about the thread pecholino linked to further upthread, could you please link to it? I'm not trying to be difficult, but the temporary fix is not better than having the phone repaired if you're on warranty. If there is another fix I seriously can't find it, and may die of rattlesnake poisoning.
WHAT TEH HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?! Two firmware's have been released 4.0.2.A.0.62 & 4.0.2.A.0.69, WHY THE HELL HAS NO ONE GOT OFF THEIR LAZY A***'S AND TRIED TO FIND A METHOD?
I hope the Dev's read this & try to do something ^_^
I found this, could someone do this for the play's?????

Sounding like that, you may be hard-pressed to find anyone who will.
Posted from something awesome
That's a very rude way to ask for something.. good luck finding someone to help you!

Um...... 2 things.
1. you could ask nicely "if" work is being done to gain root to these two firmwares
2. its quite possible that devs are working on it but have yet to find a way to gain root access........
And the moral of this write up.......... politeness goes a long way..... asking like an a$$hole gets the opportunity doors slammed in your face.... seriously if you are not happy about "WHY THE HELL HAS NO ONE GOT OFF THEIR LAZY A***'S AND TRIED TO FIND A METHOD, then how about YOU find out how to do these things so YOU can do it your self.
There is a method that's the funny thing, I'm not saying anymore.

The real answhere is: NO ONE CARES A FU*K ABOUT LOCKED BOOTLOADER. Just unlock. Than you flash Doomkernel and you have root. Always on newest Firmware.
Locked Bootloader sucks in many ways.

Your age is not an excuse. Stop hiding from your dumbass mistakes. I had more sense and was more polite than you when I was 12. You used a similar defence when accusing me of copying your status bar. Stupidity is not limited to age and ill mannered logic definitely is NOT. There's also a roundabout method of rooting the .62 firmware(.69 is german only according to xperia blog) which if you cared to research would've found.

Xperia S is their flagship after all. Just chill. ICS will reach other devices eventually.

Xperia T is the their flagship and annoyingly it is cheaper in the UK than what the S was.
No .50 for Generic UK
Stock UK here and 6.1.A.2.50 just showed up. I had previously put the latest Italian ICS rom on though - later than the 453 one so that might have been why.
Still no UK Generic
Is there anyone who can upgrade via PC Companion and post the fw? Or just the files PC Companion downloads? Then I can decrypt them myself

Hi All
As i didn't found any other threat about this in this forum i wonder if there is a solution to strengthen the wifi signal on the xperia arc s? Now i'm using the 4.0.3 latest official update from SE but my wifi signal is so weak i can't go further than 10 meter without loosing connection. This while my laptop is still with an excellent connection.
Would any custom rom solve this problem? Or an application or anything?
Any help would be very appreciated :good:

I have a question for Sprint LG G2 owners, are you experiencing a sudden restart of your device when using the Youtube app?, because I am, and it's irritating, this is the third time my phone restarted on its own, and it does this everytime I use the Youtube App, mind you I didn't have this issue before the ZVD update, I want to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue? or am I crazy and there's something wrong with the phone I have? Many thanks for any help I get.[emoji4]
