I really wanna buy the chinese package, but the chinese package is not sold in china(weird,ha?), anything can replace that with more or less the same quality or there is another way to buy it?

Have you tried purchasing from Google's web page?

I tried that, and it didn't work. I cannot buy it in China...

Then all I can suggest is Market Enabler from the market.
But you do need root access.

Maket Enabler can make me see the buy option, but I still cannot buy it...

Is it possible if you use a proxy? If so, try Tor (either on your pc or use the official Tof app called Orbot on your phone)

Edit documents on Desire?

Howzit guys,
I would like to know if it is possible to create and edit documents on this phone? I have quick office which allows me to open documents, but not edit them? Or am I missing something here?
Is there a free app in the market place for this?
Many thanks!

Documents to go costs 15$ but its decent, haven't tried any of the free apps.

Problem I have with paid apps is I am in South Africa and it doesn't seem to be supported here. Is there anyway around it?
You can either use a Market Enabler (for rooted phones) to enable the Market in your area, or you can buy direct from Dataviz.
It's a great application and well worth the money.
Regards,
Dave
I will have a look for Market enabler.
Many thanks!
Cannot find Market Enabler. Where would I be able to get the .apk for it?
I am also from a country where you cannot buy from the Market so I bought directly from the developers' site. Very easy to do.

[Q] Noob - HELP Android Market you did not paid for it error

A co worker copied a root explorer apk to my phone, I installed it but my conscious got the best of me as I do not believe in stealing so I decided to buy it but I can't buy it because it says already purchased. Any way to correct this?
Did you try deleting the original apk and then try purchasing? Not sure if it will work or not.

I did and it didn't work. Last time I listen to that co worker.....
Well, you could contact the maker of the app and explain the situation. Maybe pay for it through PayPal or something.

Yeah I would contact the maker of the app and explain what happened.
Honestly ... I didn't pay for root explorer at first either... I got it from someone else as well..BUT I loved it so much I deleted it and paid for the real one... ( I like to do it this way if the creator of the app doesn't offer a trial version)
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
U just need to uninstall it. If its installed to your system then you need to use root explorer to delete data and cache of the apk then delete the apk in system and reboot

nope it's locked in
it's a known issue with Google Tech support for Android Market
it's permanently burned into your account
they have no way to fix it yet
it also happens with other LEGIT Apps from Amazon and Getjar
i opened a complain ticket several days ago
I had the same with an app I had gotten from the Amazon market, but it hasn't been getting updates there, but has on the Android market. Well the Android market had it on sale for ten cents, so I tried to buy it there and have not been successful. I haven't really tried hard to get it though.

Please let me know when and if you get a response AllGamer. Thanks for everyone's input.
Uninstall it, clear all your caches, and go to your application settings & wipe data for the market. That usually works for me.

Restore market link

Hello guys,
My problem is simple. I have tried some apps and games taken "from internet" and now market when try to update it gives me an error. This behaviour is OK but.... If i want to really buy this app to make the update I can't!!
I have tried unistalling it but market always says ne only "download" and i can't make the checkout!
So how can buy and app previously not bought??
Thanks

Have you tried to use Titanium Backup, I have not had this issue, however this app got a few options that could help you. Look into 'Market Tools' you should be able to unlink an app with the market.
I am not 100% it would solve your issues but it might help.

Thanks but this solution not fix the problem.
I have searched here and here I have found that the only solution is to downgrade the market to version before 3.x!! I think is not a good idea but If i want buy an app i can't...

This is interesting, but I guess there must be a different solution. Have you tried to buy anything with the old market then ? If it works maybe with some reverse engineering it would be possible to know what has changed. Maybe it depends of the protection used to protect the app and what was doing the crack. What about buying the apps using a browser on a computer ? It is not so bad for the users considering they can still use the applications/games however it is not good for the developers (They are losing some potential customers).

I have made my personal fix but I not think is a very good solution. Now I can buy apps but.... If someone can found better solution will be fantastic.
Simply i have made a new Google account and with tb i have detached the cracked apps from updates so now my market notify updates only for really bought apps and free.
When I want to bought cracked app i use my new and clean account.
It's not really bad solution but I really want use only one account...

As a developer myself, I would say stop using cracked apps! Most apps have their free version equivalent available.
And more importantly, most developpers will refund you if you don't like their app, even after that ridiculous 15 minutes test period!
I can understand Google not caring about users using cracked apps, but nevertheless I agree that Google's attitude is often causing problems to app developers!
Like download issues, payment issues, license issues, to name a few... And those 15 minutes makes user get immediate refund if they have any doubts! Whereas the old one day period can give user a chance to figure out how the apps work.
Needless to say I receive daily feedback about purchase and download issues, which should actually be taken care of by Google. They are the distributor after all!
This issue has been fixed in the Google Play Store 3.5.16 update.

Here's the link to download Play Store if it hasn't updated automatically for you yet.

When you press uninstall on a sideloaded app, Play Store notifies you that you haven't purchased the app. So you can buy it now.

How to buy an app if I used a cracked version before?

I used a cracked version before of some apps. Now I want to buy them, and.. I can't.
I see on the market what I have purchased that app, but I can't download it, because I'm getting an error that I haven't paid for an app. Which is true.
So how then I can buy it? How to make Android market believe, that I don't have that app?

Props on coming clean.
Use TB to backup app data.
Uninstall.
Install through market.
Restore data.
Hi,
Thanks for quick reply.
I did that already. I uninstalled the cracked app, deleted appdata and cache before uninstall. Restarted the phone, but still in the market I see that I "purchased" the app.
App is not on my phone, but Google thinks that I purchased the app.
I tried to uy the app using pc and browser. Still the same.

This seems to be a serious flaw in the newest implementation of Google Play. Every app you install, even if you got it from GetJar or Amazon or XDA, Google saves that info to the cloud. If it's a paid app, the cloud thinks you purchased it - except that when you try to download it, Google won't let you because you didn't purchase it there. The web store, viewed from a desktop, gets confused too. So there's no way to actually buy the damn app.
I'm currently experiencing this with SetCPU (downloaded free from author's thread on XDA but the newest version isn't there) and Smart Office 2 (was free on GetJar but they don't have latest version).
Ironic workaround - you have to hack the HTML to force Google to let you buy the app! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23356474&postcount=18

See only purchased apps?

I have to scroll through the 'All' tab now to find them? I got like 20 lol. I just noticed this because I'm on a new et4g and no longer have backups.
You can visit the Play Store on your PC, and there's a tab for your apps. It'll list all the apps you've purchased (free & paid).

What about on my phone? I don't really feel like going on my PC just to see apps I know I've purchased. It is a hassle to skip throughout free apps I know I've bough.
You can push the apps to your phone from your PC. Make sure your phone shows in menus by visiting your Google Play Store settings
New version of play store has this, just swipe in the my apps screen on your phone and it lists any app you have installed on your account.

Sorry, I had to revive this. OP only wants to see his purchased apps. Not all hundred thousand that he has ever downloaded. Google Market, before Play, only showed purchased apps. And it was perfect. Now, every app I have ever installed is on that damn list. Its stupid. I only want to see the apps I care about: the ones I spent money on.

Yeah but what if your phone died and you had no backups to transfer to another phone? You really want to try to remember all of them? However, filtering options would be nice.

I'll post the answer for anyone that happens to be looking for a solution (as I was). It appears that the consensus is to uninstall market updates (settings > applications > play store) so you have an older version. With an older version, I believe you can see them at the bottom of "my apps." Unfortunately, the market will likely update itself again so it's something you can do anytime you want to see your purchased apps. Some have been successful in preventing auto-update; others, not so much.
The other option is to review your transaction history in Google Wallet.
Do you know which play store version was the last to show bought apps?

Someone modified a play store app to show your paid yet not installed apps. Search xda for play store legacy or something. If not I can post the apk when I get a chance. I found it on xda though so I know it's here somewhere.
