Need to Unroot!

Well my Evo's charging port broke a couple of days ago and I took it in to Sprint to see what they could do. Well they told me I have to Unroot if I want the insurance to cover it. The charging port is broken so how do I unroot it and everything from my phone. Also my contract ends in november so is there a chance I can get a Evo 3D instead of my OG evo without renewing my contract?

I think I used unrevoked
radio: 2.15.00.0808
S-Off
H-Boot:0.97.0000
Do you think they check to see if my phone has S-On at sprint?
I already have stock ROM on it, so they cant figure out if my phone is rooted unless they go into recovery. So what do you think I should do?
Anyone???

I can always download the files directly from the phone but I dont know what files to put on the SD card that will give me s-on. I already flashed stock rom and now all I need is S-On.
just follow the instuctions on the threads. if all elese fails then tell them it was stolen and get a new phone that way. works for me lol
If you unrevoked then you need to flash the 2.15.00.11.19 radio and then the s-on zip from unrevoked site. That will get you s-on.

^This.
See the first "My Links" link in my sig for everything you need to fully unroot. The 2.15.00.11.19 radio is linked, and well as the S-ON zip. Then I have some stock ROMs you can flash in HBOOT to finish the job .

you might have to buy a "Factory cable" but there should be a program that lets you send fastboot to a dead device...

I just edited the tar that contained it and removed the radio-cdma.
flashed it with odin then was able to use android and re-unlocked the bootloader with the toolkit, then flashed the tar with the radio-cdma just in case, and then relocked the bootloader.
Now i can send it in for warranty lol

Open the RUU
Press WindowsKey + R
Type in "%TEMP%", then enter
Sort the file by date modified and find the folder with a zip that says "rom.zip"
Copy that to your desktop
Close the RUU
Rename the "rom.zip" to "PC36IMG.zip" and place it on the root of your sdcard (not inside ANY folder)
Boot your phone into bootloader (power it off, then hold the power key + VolDown)
The bootloader should find the PC36IMG.zip and commence the update process back to 100% stock
Note: Your sdcard must be formatted to FAT32 for this to work

[Q] Searching for 3.14.161.27 RUU

Today I've tried rooting my phone, it all went horribly wrong, I've literally tried everything on the XDA forums and have checked out the disaster recovery tutorial. Nothing however seems to help, only thing I haven't been able to try is to flash a RUU, because I haven't been able to find mine, it's 3.14.161.27 , if anyone is in possesion of it or knows how to come by it, I'd really need your help!
Thanks in advance!

It stays stuck on the boot screen of cyanogenmod, i've tried reflashing the kernel, fastboot erase cache, reflashing the rom, restoring to my old rom, which only changed the screen it stayed stuck to (HTC screen). And now somehow my Nandroid backup isn't on my phone anymore, neither is the cyanogenmod ROM, so i've got a Phone i've flashed the latest cyanogenmod onto, that's stuck in bootloop, with nothing else on it. I think that pretty much sums it up. My last resort is drowning or destroying it so my insurance wil get me a new one, however it will cost me, and I'd rather not destroy such a awesome device
This is a higher version but I think it should work fine -

1. Check for an RUU
2. Make a backup

Sounds like you need to flash the boot.img that supports hboot 1.36. Check the first post of your CM10 ROM. GPS won't work.
If you have clockworkmod 5.8.4.0, you can mount sd card and copy a different ROM on if you want.
If you have an older version, drop to fastboot and flash the new one (I say new, it's been out like 6 months).
i've tried flashing CWM, but in the cmd window, it says "FAILED <command write failed <unknown error>>
and then that it's finished
I would be grateful I'd anyone has this RUU as well. Restore is corrupted .

What you need is Vodafone JB nandroid. Download it from HERE, and flash from your recovery.
You can also find it HERE
Flash boot.img contained in this nandroid, and you should be fine.

Do i need to delete my old recovery ( clockwork mod) or do anything to that recovery before flashing this one?
Your best bet is to flash that mod twrp. If it fails,I suggest u flash that ruu

What I mean is...flash that recovery then reflash your ROM. If u still get reboots, just flash that ruu...I don't think a certain recovery will interfere with flashing an ruu

can someone help me i cant boot into recovery, and apps are still FCing.
Symptoms:
-Unable to boot into recovery/bootloader
-Force closes system app or installed apps
-Stored settings changes on reboots
-Random reboots while phone is idle
-Constant reboots while restarting it and doesn't know when it will boot normally.
All above mention symptoms are related to HARDWARE FAILURE! Bare in mind that not all of them you'll see it on your device. But any of one you face, will might probably having chance of hardware failure.
You or here on xda users can't resolve your issue. So don't try anything from now on wards. Use it as is. Or sell it and move to another device.
Unless you have some local cheap repair shops where they might evaluate the issue then fix it that way, rather than calling into HTC service center.
And i forgot to mention, you probably have question in mind, How i know? My device is dying too. It reboots constantly before it boots normally, though it works fine. So symptom may vary device to device but cause is the same.
