Since the recent time change...my factory clock changed over and when I set my alarm to the time I need to get up it states the proper amount of hours before the alarm should go off but the hours on the main screen are plus an hour. Its already caused me to be late to work once and didnt know if anyone had any ideas. I am not rooted and on the latest firmware. Thanks in advance

Did you check your date and time settings to make sure you are using network time? I don't know, maybe turning on and off will help? Can't hurt to try.

I appreciate it apparently it took twenty four hrs for the phone to recognize the time change. Thanks again and mod feel free to close this thread

Theres an app in the googleplay marketplace called "wakey" it runs in the background and your phone will never sleep. Until you turn wakey off.

Is your question, can you leave this off? Or on?
You're taking about the setting in the Hidden Menu?
Someone else posted something about this, their name started with a"C" I believe.
Anyway, mine is turned off and has been since that other post. I don't really think it did much for my battery life.

So here's the thread it was originally brought up on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328478
I remember my issues with it. I'm outside a lot and the phone will autodim down to 67% making it unreadable in sunlight. When I used this setting, I worked great outside but the screen would do some weird things when I left it on all the time. But I think it was conflicting with the autobrightness. It probably does make your phone run hotter as the cpu and the display won't be using any temperature regulation. And the Display has always been an issue on stock.
Yea i readthat one allready i just need some to giv reassurance that its beeb thoroughly tested

What do you mean by thoroughly tested? I've had it disabled for months without any issues.

It drains because of Sony bloatware and not a very fresh battery..there is many reasons but the main is bloat and battery that is old/not calibrated properly...get the battery out wait 5 min and press power button and hold for couple of seconds WITHOUT BATTERY put it back use the phone until it shutdown itself, connect charger turn it ON and then charge for 7-8 hours.and get rid of widgets.that is all you can do without root and stock.make sure GPS and Bluetooth is turned off when not needed and 3g/WiFi.if all this don't help after couple of days of use try juicedefender maybe but its heavy app that runs all the time it will slow the phone.

Battery Drain
Try the above suggestion.
Also I suggest that you root your phone for optimize usage.
In that way you will be able to remove the bloatware correctly.
I use Setcpu profile activation. When my lockscreen is off it lowers the cpu settings.
Hi again,
Just been reminded that when I power up my phone I get an email saying that the SIM has been changed to 353375055129661 this appears to be Ireland
Can anybody explain this behaviour?
Cheers for now,
John

Dude,
Macaffee has an option to advise if the sim has been swapped or not, you should be able to turn it off, so long as you know the security pass code.
But I would uninstall it and get Dr web, much better in my opinion.

Cheers for that.
Phone now rooted thanks to vroot, and Mcaffee uninstalled
