Asphalt 6 HD free for SII in Samsung Apps

Just wanted to let you know. If you want to download Asphalt 6 HD game, it's available for free in Samsung Apps only for SII owners. Didn't notice any other post about this, hopefully i'm not duplicating another thread. Happy downloading

Apparently they don't like canuks, so far everyone complained of that problem is in Canada.

Where do I download it? It's not free in the market for me. Is it country-related?

I don't have samsung apps Can I get the .apk?

It heavily drains the battery, so I've already uninstalled it...

This game makes my display very very HOT :|

Are you guys referring to the specific "version" of the game that is distributed via the Samsung Apps or generally about Asphalt 6 HD?
Isn't battery drainage (whilst playing) and overheating "issues" to be expected from a very demanding game like this?

Sure, this game heavily drains battery, but its sooo friggin awesome that you expect it too.

I can get my battery from 100 % to 0% in 1.5 hours of continuously playing this game.
But it's so worth it ... This game is CRAAAAAAZyyyy!

You guys are lucky, I can't even get the data download to complete:
"A problem occurred and the download could not be completed successfully. Do you want to restart the download?"

Game is awesome, probably the only car game that i ever liked, not a racing fan, but driving cars in this game is piece of cake, nice controls.

No...NoteII is not officially released it but I have read here that it is available for pre-order online....

Is the 64 GB version going to be a release model, or will it release way later like it did with the S3?
Is there an SD card port?
How much is the SPen?
How mod friendly is the Note? By this I mean I suspect it's basically the same as the S3 but do the mods do a good job of incorporating the pen?
What are some good apps that are optimized for something like the Note as opposed to other android phones?

I think 64gb version will be released late as Sammy has been doing for ages...
Yeah....it has a external microsd cars slot.
Spen for note was around $100 here in India 3months back.But since note2 has a different spen,I suppose it can only be said when Sammy puts it on sale...
By mod,do you mean custom roms???if so,if the rom is based on stock rom,it will be fully compatible.But if the rom is AOSP,you will miss all features of spen but still you can use it as a normal stylus.
You can find all spen optimized apps in samsung's s-choice app.

Google now can be downloaded as a standalone app from the market separately. It can be used alongside s voice.

[REQUEST] Note II's Multi Window feature

Hey guys,
just saw today a short clip with the note 2 in action. And the phablet got rocked the **** out of it
The guy using it just made a swype and a bar on the left side appeared, that contained a lot of shortcuts for some apps like video player etc.
So, there were two apps running at the same time. Just looked awesome, really awesome.
It would be great if some of our devs would be able to port this killer feature to our beloved phone. I think there is almost no limitation expect the 1gb ram -.-, but nevermind it will be okay.

I think we can make our CPU to work at 1.6Ghz and not 1.4 without heating as Note II.
I believe the processors are same.

Topic changed to your title I just couldnt point it out as good as you But actually only 2 devices in the world can do the multi window feature Note 2 and Note 10.1 But this is imo a step further to real multitasking. Cause the "multitasking" we have on our phones at the moment isnt even comparable to the one of windows... If I hear MT, then I think that a lot of apps run at the same time, but when I just got out of the FB app with Home-button and then go in again, the **** reloads -.-' thas not really what I imagined...

[Q] Help me on choosing....

Hey friends... Been a android user for a long time... Planning on upgrading my mobile... (currently i own galaxy y.)
I have shortlisted xperia z, galaxy note 2,nexus 4,HTC butterfly.
Seems xperia z will be very costly... 599 gbp (almost 820$)
So I'm thinking of leaving that one... I need help on note 2.is the exynos processor good enough and future proof? Coz I will having the phone for at least 2 years before I change again... This may have been asked many times in this forum but this one is vast... (Not like my galaxy y forum...) Been a while since the device was released.... So...,
How is the support guys?
Battery life? (pathetic in nexus 4)
Do you really use s pen?
I'm kinda mid sized person, how do you people manage to keep the device in your pocket?
Sound effect? (in headphones)
How good is the premium suit?
Any info on next update of touchwiz? (everybody hate it yet, I believe next one will be good)

Since Samsung is not a developer friendly company, you won't get enough support from AOSP or AOKP. Exynos is a Pandora Box, Samsung not willing to share any part of it or sharing very outdated versions.

Although I don't like Samsung much in some points, I always ended up with Samsung :S

I love my Note II in every single aspect.. But if you like AOSP or stock android, I dont think think will be the best choice for you unless you will not be using the S-pen. If the premium suit means the build quality , TBH its not as bad as people say , sure its made of plastic but once you get a nice case on it..it will feel very premium overall, I think you should get the Note II. The Xperia Z as you said is expensive and i personally dont like Sony's skin they keep on the phone (just my opinion). The butterfly,I dont know it maybe a good choice but i had an HTC before i get the note II and i can honestly say i will never get an HTC again no customer support..lack of updates,etc. But on paper the Butterfly seems good with Specs but daily life performance..HTC is Na-Na-Na-Na Bye bye for me

I have to say that I love my Note 2 also. I've only seen the demo (non-working) HTC Butterfly in the stores here in Japan, and it doesn't look as nice to me. I loved my HTC Desire HD, but after seeing the build quality of this Note 2, I think Samsung could have me as a customer for a long time. As for development, you can check out the rom list via my sig.

Sorry by 'premium suite' I meant those apps which were specifically given to n2 and s3 by Samsung.
Not that I like pure vannila... But an active cyanogen mod 10.1 thread will be more than enough for me.
I was reading thru the battery life thread... It was very impressive... (seriously, what is the use of great features without a good juice support to use them)
Will Samloed be good to see?
(coz my favourite time pass is to count the number of pixels in my galaxy y)
Will be getting my new mobile by 10 days or so... (got exams now) will definitely update.

This will never end
once there is S4 available, rumor get starts popping up for Note3
as well S4 won't have s-pen feature and may be screen size should have lesser than Note2.
So i think if you have short listed go with one of it.
samsung have disappoint us with note1/2 for brick bug and SDS but as above sinancetinkaya said, same here

[Q] ....Black Screen while booting Plz HelP....

Hi Guys i have a little problem I Have a galaxy note 2 n7102 (Clone).I have rooted it 2 days ago.i have the android stock boot animation
but when i added a custom boot animation,when i rebooted the screen goes black and then the phone starts up
I tried to put it in system/media and data/local and change bootanimation and samsungani in system/bin and reboot but nothing happens
Plz anyone tell me And i will thank him

So, when you say "Clone" it begs the question, is it a genuine Galaxy Note 2 N7102, or a cheap knockoff?
If it is the latter, the advice you may get here almost certainly won't apply!

I Know that i am in the Wrong section but the reason that let me post here:
1-That you solve some problems and i know that
2-That my clone is not almaal74 said its tipically like original note 2:1.6 ghz,2 gb ram and 4.1 android phone
So i know you can slove it because its like note 2 in android so the same problem is here that when i changed a boot animation and deleted the stock it goes black screen and then starts up

If it is using a Samsung ROM, simply flash a stock ROM over the top using Odin.

When I had this problem it was due to the kernel not being custom boot animation compatible. The N7100 logo would show then flicker and stay blank until it was finished loading. Have you tried a different kernel to see if this is the problem?

I specifically picked this video because you can clearly see that the "S-Pen" is not an S-Pen at all, but a regular capacitive stylus.
OP - assuming this is the case, if you want help with a generic device like this, your best bet would be to search out thread relating to MT6589 based devices, as you're far more likely to find someone with knowledge of this device because it quite simply isn't a Galaxy Note 2.

No it doesn't have the same processor!
It will almost certainly have a Mediatek MT6589, which isn't a bad processor by all accounts, but it is *not* an Exynos and therefore flashing a ROM from a real Note 2 may end up bricking your device - especially if it also flashes the modem or bootloader.
My previous advice stands - seek out a forum for MT6589 based devices, because flashing anything from a genuine Note 2 will likely cause you far more problems than it solves.

I don't have a link!
Search XDA for MT6589 and see what turns up. Failing that, post in the general Android forum because you stand far more of a chance finding someone who knows something about your device.
