Hi,
I have one HTC Desire from French Orange. I tried to use MoreLocale to add the Portuguese language to the phone but Morelocale doesn't work 100%. The menus and 95% of the phone still in English. It's the first time this happens. So, the question is, how do i add more languagues on my device??
Tanks.
This shouldn't be in this forum so reported to get it moved to Q&A
Sorry.
Anyone kmow how do i solve this problem?
An easy solution might be flashing an other Rom...

Hi guys. Lately I seem to be going paranoid, so here is a question for you all. How safe are my personal files, pictures, keepass databases etc if they are located on the sd card of my desire which is always connected to the internet? Could someone hack into my phone and download them?
Thanks for your time.
Aalex

The answer is no. To get hacked you have to be stupid and purposefully do it or get a virus on your phone.

They should not be able to do that unless u somehow got a virus onto your phone.

Thanks for the responses guys! The question that begs to be asked now, is what anti-virus / anti-trojan you would recommend?
Is it avgfree or lookout? Or is there some other choice?
Thanks once again!
Best AntiVirus is common sense.

Fizzerr is in fact correct. As long as you don't install any suspicious applications, that specifically have the permissions to access your SDcard and are specifically programmed to act as a virus and upload your data to the application author, then nothing could go wrong.

I'm sorry, I can't really help you any further. My Machine doesn't have space to use Virtual Box, I was just trying to point you in the direction of what looked like the most useful website.
Anyone else getting error messages when trying to open the HTC hub?
Tried a factory reset, but to no avail.
Cheers!

Just wondering as I'd like to see what themes there are other than the defaults!
Not a pressing issue really
I would just install a different rom, but I'm a noob and messed it up before - it's not as easy as it was on my old HD2 haha

Yep i can confirm this. Even i changed rom from ordroid to stock to see if it was rom problem but to no avail. Maybe they're preparing it for jelly bean?

Haha, maybe! I'd put my money on it being closer to Christmas though, especially since some carriers haven't even rolled out the latest ICS and sense updates

Hi! I had the same problem and I managed to solve this by accesing the 'Configure' app from stock rom..At some point, you need to enter your Htc account..I believe that this is somehow related to your Htc account... I didn't remembered my account, so I created another one.. Hope this helps!

Configure app?
I tried creating a new account, same error though!

Same error on stock . But I am rooted and unlocked .

I had the same problem, and I fixed it by going in setting->sync and then dissable and enable sync for htc hub.
Good luck and btw don't expect much from htc hub as it's poor with content and I can't seem to remember when they have update it last.

Thanks for the replies guys! None work, HTC account shows in sync but not hub, messing with this does nothing.
I know from previous usage that its not much kop, just an annoying little niggle that it won't work!

I don't know how 'Configure' app is called... I have a romanian One X and the app was there from the beginning. Maybe I am wrong, but I guess it's the first setup of the phone when you start it for the first time..so I went to the setup process again..and the HTC hub works now for me, after I've changed my HTC account...

Hi everybody.... It's my first post here....
My cousin owns HTC wildfire buzz... There are some hurdles that I cannot happen to cross for him..
His device is untouched.. Means No rooting, no modding., no custom ROM....
1. Arabic language is partially supported... it displays the characters of Arabic but letters are disconnected...
2. Battery life is very weak. It can not last even for a day...
3. Battery icon with/in percentage.
4. Torch widget stops working every often.
5. Cannot sync contacts from Facebook....
Anyone here can help me to help to help him...
Thanks in advance

1) no idea
2) for better battery, rooting is the best option and installing a custom rom. It would increase speed too.
3) i think it can oot be changed
With a custom rom, u can have a different battery icon.
4) interesting, try any app like flashlight from play store.
5) there are few specific apps for that. U can get via play store

Actually I dont want to play around with his device... because MOdding and installing custom roms caused my SAMSUNG Galaxy Ace to lose BOOTLOADER.
Aren't there any user-friendly methods that can be applied to obtained the stated!
Honestly i dont remember much coz i just spent 5 days with stock rom. After 5 days, i rooted my phone
