[Q] HM1100 Bluetooth Headset Issue - Galaxy S II Accessories

I just got this nice headset for my phone, but I can't make it work, after pairing all I can hear when trying to make a call is just my own voice, I can't hear the other side
Now I'm on stock 2.3.4 KI4 rooted, any suggestions guys?

just...
You have to disable the call recording man. Or change the rom of your phone.
You rom support it or you have a call recording software running at the background.
When you disable this it works perfect. I have 2 of them and the battery life is aweasome.
I have criskelo v29.1 and allcallrecorder. If i want to use the bt recording i hear my voice together with the other side. Its not big deal if you used to it. It works.

thanks for the tip man, nice one the call recording was on, but it was disabled for bluetooth, so i didn't bothered to fully disable it
it works great, the sound in the ear piece is amazing
is there any way to listen to music via the ear piece?

THANKS !!!!!!
Thanks to nectons2000 for such a wonderful tip.

Recording calls

With reference to this topic of applications:

can anyone tell me if their Dash/S620 records calls without speaker phone activated (with any of the programs and versions)?
thanx.
I just tested. It records phone calls fine (ie. also non-speakerphone ones).
The only thing is, when you PLAY BACK the file it will only play through speaker.
do you have WM6 or WM5?

Can you also check it with a BT headset - that is, is the other party recorded then too?
OK guys I did all the tests.
I spoke a little too soon....
The problem is, only MY VOICE is recorded. The other party is not. (A little bit can be heard sometimes ; whatever gets from the earpiece to the microphone.)
Tried with BT headset. Same thing. My voice is recorded loud and clear (from the headset's mic) but nothing from the other end!
Playback is ALWAYS through the speakerphone , also with BT HS connected.
I'm disappointed because I was so happy earlier on, automatic call recording was one of my dream features but this solution is not there yet

That's bad news - thanks for testing.
It seems you must stick to, say, the Oxygen if you need flawless call recording but still want to have a WM5 Smartphone in your pocket.
I Think Tornado gives the same opportunity, perhaps it's the WM6 thing..anyway, it seems VITO guys are working on it..nice feature it would be though..

How can I force speakerphone for every call?

Good morning,
Unfortunately my HTC TouchPro 2 is still on the fritz... the microphone seems to be completely fried.
To listen to anyone; I have to put it on speakerphone. (they can hear me fine via regular mic)
So my question to you is, until I can get myself a new phone, is there a way to force speakerphone for all incoming and outgoing calls?
Thanks for all suggestions,
Alec Taylor
PS: Also extremely interested in suggestions for fixing my phones' regular speaker, so I can listen without speakerphone :]

Look up the application auto loudspeaker for WM. It automatically switches to loudspeaker when you pull the phone away from your ear.

[Q] No one can hear me in call

No one can hear me talking on my phone.
It does not matter if I call someone or they call me.
I know my microphone works because it works in sound recorder.
Noise cancellation is turned off.
I have searched the forum and found a few threads but most are about noise cancellation and just a registry edit or cab to disable it.
I used energy rom and then switched back to the default rom and it still has the problem.
I do not know if it is a problem with the dialer or what but it has been about 2 months and I can not for the life of me figure out what is wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.
when you use the recorder it sometimes block the mic. , if you uninstall the recorder you will be fine i guess.
Thank you for the response but I do not thing the recorder is the issue. I feel like it is a problem with the dailer or the network since the mic is working in other programs.

Toggle Sound from Speaker to the Phone Speaker

I got Call Recording working on my m919 TMO 4.4.2 with Fenny's Stock Rom v1.3 using Xposed and then the xposed module and then the S4/S5 app.
But it plays the recording through the speakerphone (so everyone can hear it, no privacy)
.
Is there any way to toggle all sound/music from the speakerphone speaker to the normal phone speaker (the one you use when you put your ear to the phone).
That would be cool, like add it the the toggle menu where wifi, gps, and everything else is...?
Or anything else that can do it?
It should be the normal speaker, how are you playing the recording?

ohhh, call record button wont work with wifi calls. is that a bug in my phone or are we never allowed to record wifi calls?
I don't use call recording so I can't say, however I have recorded one call before and it was fine, but can't remember if it was over WiFi

I meant I want to switch all sound from the speakerphone speaker, to the phone speaker (the one you use when you put your ear to the phone).
Any way to do that?
Is the issue with the recording playback or all audio is playing through the speakerphone?

There is no issue. The phone works exactly like it is supposed to.
I'm just asking, if there was any way to get all sound/audio/music to go to the phone speaker (the one on top/front of the phone), instead of the speakerphone on the back/bottom?
Oh ok, yeah I'm sure there is a way but I haven't seen anything regarding this.. Hopefully someone else can help

Microphone problem when I use speaker phone - S9

Hello,
The microphone doens't work on my S9 when I use the speaker phone. The people do not hear me. I have no problem in normal call mode.
I tested to call in "safe mode" but the problem always appears.
Thank you for your help!
No idea?
Same problem here (replace xx by tt) : hxxps://us.community.samsung.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/GalaxyS/thread-id/51619/page/12
Thank you!

m also having the same problem, but also While video recording
Same problem here. Only when HD calling is enabled. If you disable HD calling, the problem should go away. I'm hoping the first software update fixes it. Just to be clear the problem is that the other person cannot hear you when on speakerphone. You should be able to hear them clearly and have no idea there is a problem unless they tell you that you sound muffled or like you are underwater. Turn off HD calling on Verizon and it goes away.
Thank you for your solution. I disabled the HD calling ("4G calling" in French) and the voice can be heard now. But the quality is very very bad! It is scandalous for a phone of this price!
Is there an other solution to improve the microphone quality during a call with speakerphone?
Thank you!
HD Calling?
I have the same issue, but have no idea how to disable HD Calling ( I'm on Sprint BTW). These minor issues are ticking me off; I've already had for factory reset once due to Camera settings crashing the app.. . now this nonsense. Phone isn't even 14 days out of the box, and its DEFINITELY not an "third party-app" issue. Bad time to switch from iPhone, huh? This is unacceptable for a $300 phone, nonetheless a $1K phone.
Hello, I have the same issue, on VoIP apps like WhatsApp as well. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...rphone-loudness-clarity-t3746298#post78757253
Does anyone experience the same problem on custom ROM?

Same problem here, first on Note7, now on Note9. Disabling HD calling did not fix it for me.
any solution for it ? please post solution
I've discovered the issue is that the phone attempts to mute your microphone while the speaker is playing sounds. (If you're on the phone with someone they have background noise or are talking) and your phone's microphone attempts to lower the sensitivity so that the person whom you are speaking with doesn't hear an echo of themselves on their end. If they aren't making a sound then you can be heard normally. This is the downfall of my S9+ because the speaker and microphone are right beside each other.
