hi people. i have developed a SUPER AWESOME bundle of a few theme things, including smoothsense and translucent notification tray as well as a notification pulldown mod. the problem is, i cant test it. i need somebody to flash onto a deodexed rom (preferrably unthemed to start) and give me results (maybe some screenshots too). relply and i will pm you the link. thanks a bunch.

come on ANYBODY?? just make a nand backup and u r in the clear. plz i need help on this one.
i would
i would but i am using cm 6.1 not a sense rom
well, thanks for replying at least.
I would too, but i have my own little projects too, sorry
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I'll do it for you tomorrow. PM me the link and I'll flash it as soon as my lazy ass gets out of bed.
thanks for offering to help me (again) metal. here is a link. MAKE A NAND! http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10025668/untested-signed.zip
I could switch back to a rom that would work and try it out if you still need the help
Want more help, go to themes after you get someone to test it and get them to screenshot. Then just post a WIP with the screenshot and ask for beta testers. You'll probably get more than you can handle.
hey thanks for all the speedy help offers. link in post 7 this should work in theory. it's just the last time i made a zip, it failed. this is only my third zip. my first went off without a hitch, but i couldnt get my second to flash. you can find screenshots without smoothsense in my original flashable. this one takes more than 1 flash though and has no smoothsense. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819634
Im willing to try it out...
just wanna know if it'll work for CM6.1 rc
once agin, totally untested bcuz my evo is down at the moment. infinite reboot problem. unrooted now bcuz i dont think i can keep it on long enough later to flash the misc. i dont know if it will work for cm6.1. probably not because it uses different framework and services.jar. worth a nand and a flash though.

No prob I'm about to go see a movie with a lady friend, when I get back I have a bunch of stuff I want to do with my EVO, starting with testing your theme. Give me till like 4pm (central) and I'll have some screenies for you.
sounds good metal. thnx again
K man, just got home... doing my nandroid as I type. I'm gonna flash it over a stock deodexed 3.29.651.5 ROM. Give me just a few and I'll be back with your screenshots. Do you want me to post them in the thread or PM them to you?
whatever's easier. probably a pm so i can start a thread in themes instead of ppl just downloadin it from here.
Check your PMs
Well I was going to create a ROM for the Nitro HD but my phone decided it wanted to hardware brick when I battery pulled, so that plans out the window for a while. While my ROM did work for half of the beta testers without issue, I can't say its safe enough for everyone to flash.
Anyways, this is NOT for flashing. This is for devs to create ROMs from. Its the /system of the Nitro HD on AT&T fully de-odexed. All I ask for anyone using this to please credit me.
This includes all stock applications and bloat, except Google Maps, and Polaris Office. You can pull Maps from Market or another ROM, its universal. I didn't try too hard to de-odex Polaris, theres better office apps anyways.

AGAIN, DO NOT FLASH ON YOUR PHONE. ITS ONLY FOR DEVS TO CREATE ROMS
Wonderful. Now devs and themers can do their thing. Nice job.

Also want to thank you for the effort... You should see about getting one of those donate buttons put up - I am sure there are some of us who would be happy to help defray any repair costs that you may incur as you forge ahead.
Thank you for this i'll be working with this base.

I don't have have a straightforward (simple) answer to that. Some of the frameworks have dependencies, you just need to make sure they are included. I spent time figuring out what dependencies were needed.
If your building a ROM for the LG Nitro HD on AT&T, your welcome to use the files from the first post. All I ask for is a one line credit.
How one deoxed a rom?
I've tried xUltimate, but it chokes on qcnvitems.jar and qcrilhook.jar

I have posted a request for a zip file containing an AOSP Lockscreen to run on touchwiz base GS3 T999. I have not been helped and feel really left out. I really like XDA and have read and learned some new things regarding my G3S T Mobile. Came across some forums about the modded AOSP screen zip file but not for my phone. Could someone, PLEASE, PLEASE help me to find one or even make one if that's not to much to ask?
Thank you in advance,

Can you link me to the request thread in question ? I will take a look. Also please link to the Zip file that's not for your phone.
As far as Lock Screens go, AOSP and Touchwiz are not compatible. Having said that, Most of AOSP roms prefer Dash Clock or other such Lock Screen Widgets. If you really are looking for AOSP experience on Touchwiz, you can try Magic Locker app in play store.
He might want to look into Xposed modules too. I know they have a mod for it, but he has to learn how to use Xposed first.
Also, I really want to say that I remembered seeing an AOSP lockscreen zip in Themes and Apps, but it might have been in another forum section since I bounce around so much. I'll look for it in the next few days or so.
If all else fails, flash an AOSP ROM and theme it TWiz style. That's a sure fire way to get best of both worlds *cough* unless you still want wifi calling and other TWiz features will be lost *cough*.

I don't think he wants to leave Touchwiz. If he is wiling to then there's a lot of choices out there. Me, I'd use this app if I am on Touchwiz.

Thanks guys for the response! I am using Dandroid and love it but eventually I want to go back to using stock rom. This Dandroid is running AOSP Screen with Touchwiz and there are some forums showing AOSP screen zips for some Galaxies on T mobile but not for the GS3. I did try some of the zips but it didn't do anything, and I was trying to reply to a person who adjusted one to work for a Galaxy but he didn't respond back and that is why I was trying to post some new ones to get some help.
Thanks,

But there are some that are made for the Note I thought.I am also using Xposed App but didn't find a module for a AOSP Screen, per the prior post from

What about this one?
[MOD][Xposed] AOSP Lockscreen even though it's from the Note II section, someone got it to work on their SGS3 (Int'l variant though). Seems to work on multiple devices and multiple OEMs too.

The AOSP lockscreen in Dandroid came from S3Rx. If you want the stock look, use S3Rx, not Dandroid.
This is a job for a custom ROM. I feel like you're trying to reinvent the wheel.

You need to install the apk from
http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk
After done, run that app. That's actually an installer which will do its own process. Follow through and then finish it. Once that's finished, try th AOSP apk you just now installed.

Yea MAN! It works on my stock 4.1.2. Although I have a few more questions if you don't mind? 1st the one AOSP I was using on the DANDROID had a way to access on the screen options to add more apps in the lock screen. I wonder if this can be done? And 2nd do you know if this will work when I update to 4.3 stock when it comes out? Just some thoughts but again thanks a million!!!

The On screen options to add more is called Lock Screen Widgets. That's pure AOSP feature. Yes go right ahead. It will work just fine. If you come across other modules that use Xposed apps then they too will work for you.
I do believe for 4.3, the Xposed Apps APK you just got will be updated. You will then have to get the latest apk. Or perhaps you could be lucky and it is already updated.

Cool thanks. Still a little confused though. The module is active and working AOSP Lockscreen 1.1 but there is no options listed to change apps on the screen. I checked in the settings, lock screen, lock screen options and screen lock but there is nothing. No widget either to allow for customizing apps. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
I know there's a lot of guide out their but it seems that they have different ways on doing it. What exactly I want to ask is the process of how to decompile and recompile cm11 settings.apk. Been doing it for awhile but i'm having error recompiling, i'm not good at it Thank you in advance :good:
Thanks people for reading Anyway, i was able to make it :highfive: Thanks @iamareebjamal

I have the necessary APKs and other files to make a flashable zip, however whenever I try to flash it it succeeds but when I click on quickremote, the app force closes on me and will not load. How can we successfully get this to work on lollipop? I have posted several times in the forums but nobody seems to care about helping get this done.

2nd: Those are the patha I'd go diggin. Maybe gonna explain a bit closer/have a closer look tomorrow. Got to sleep now.^^
Amything new here? Have you already searched in the fokders I "mentioned"?
I'm back and trying to get this working once more. It is so odd that the way they got this working on the G2 and G3 does not work on ours. It makes me think that the stock LG ROM with lollipop for the G Pro is just a bunch of hacks LG threw into a zip file which just makes this even more difficult. I'm not going to give up yet though. If anyone else has any suggestions please PM me. I would gladly appreciate more ideas.

I am pretty sure the odex files are generated when the ROM is installed. This means I need to have someone who has the ROM working to get them to me.. The zip only has the files from the system partition.
