Sometimes people need very urgent issues to be resolved and I wonder if it is possible to put a chat here (or open irc channel and post its link here)? It will be really cool place, cause lots of people can share their experience in a real time mode

note: I am not looking at it most of the time.
There's an IM client which can be added to phpBB called Prillian...
Works well. Maybe this could be useful, I dunno.

I am mystified as to why you resurrected an 8 year old thread for something completely unrelated, but please post questions about your device in the devices Q&A forum. Thank you.
A live chat would never work for a forum of this size (~4.5 million users). Too many people will be talking at once. Maybe for each device? But not for the forum globally.
Just noticed that the OP's username is the name of my first app....
Btw, live chat is not really necessary....this is a forum, threads are made for discussions and other things related to development.....this isn't a social network....

Oh wow 8 years and from the grave it returns. Well let me kill it for good this ttime.
Alot of people already have channels set up for this sort of this. XDA will never set up an official channel as we are not a support forum.

Regardless of who's wrong or right, the channel #samsung-epic-touch is an unhelpful and hateful waste of time right now.
I have been in PM convos with several other people and it was clear that an alternative was necessary.

For future reference, smaller IRC networks like FOSSnet (irc.fossnet.info - webchat.fossnet.info) tend to be more responsive. I can vouch for network staff there - if things get out of hand, they will assist. Good people.

Remember, its ALLWAYS quality over quantity fellas..
i'd rather have a channel of 25-35+ AWESOME nice devs then a channel of 50 people who are obviously just penis riding a certain someone, which will obviously just be a channel of 50 people who say offensive stuff.

yea i could, but he gives us a bad rep.
especially if new epic touch owners hop on for help and gets insulted instead.
the channel should be opened back up for people who'd like to help others without insults or racist remarks which i've seen PLENTY of by the same person.
