Since there's no micro-sd slot I would wait for the 32 gb version. But then I use my phone as my primary music player, fstore video and also use it as my primary camera. It depends on what you plan on using it for. If you store a lot of files on then wait.
I wouldn't wait for anything indefinitely when a version is already released. I've never come close to using 16GB on my phone since I keep my music on the cloud.

No sd. Yeah it sucks! I would prob wait for 32 if it wasnt to long. On the other hand, my 8gb sd has been fine. I think im getting the vigor though because the samsung seems a little big for me.

Another thing to consider is the phony preorder prices. Once we know the actual pricing on the Nexus we can make a better choice. If the 32 isn't ridiculously expensive over the 16, that's the route I'll be going. But if they make it $200 more over the 16, screw that, I'll cloud.

i'll definitely suggest the 32 GB verison, the 16 GB will fill up in a blink of an eye

Depends solely on your needs - or what your data plan looks like. I've had the same 8gb card with me since my G1 and have never come close to filling it. All I store locally are pictures. For me music = cloud. The extent of my video watching on the phone is internet/youtube...so for me, the 16gb is a no brainer. If you need lots of local storage, go 32gb.

Seems to be conflicting information out there, some reports state that the UK 16GB version will have an SD card slot but it will be missing from the US version.
Who knows whether these these reports are accurate. Would make more sense if the LTE version didn't have the slot as it needs extra space but the HSPA+ version does.

i doubt it. but ill see. cuz im taking the UK 16GB version. 500 vs560 euros.
the 560 is just a bit to much. plus the 500 euro vor 16GB also includes shipping.

There are several threads on here for Micro SDHC cards. There is a 32GB Micro SDHC Class 10 card by Lexar. It's $108 on Amazon, but someone found a link to a different store out there for $88. Check this thread.

ummmmmm 109 vs 60, that's almost double, now im not poor, i own gucci t shirts and dolce and gabbana t shirts, a bunch actually, money has nothing to do with it, its the value you receive, 109 dollars is not worth 32 gigs of memory when 16 is plenty and if you need that extra little boost, either free some of the junk you shouldnt have on there, or buy one more, you shouldnt need to change a 16 gig 5 times a day...if you need it its there but there should be no reason why...nothing can justify 109 dollars for a memory card, im sorry if you feel otherwise

Why would you not get the 32GB if you can afford it. Not having to worry about running out of space is more realistic that having to worry about what files I have to delete.
So... you know how much storage I need and how I use it? To clear things up, I have been waiting on the 32gb card to come out because I wanted to replace my iPod. I didn't want to purchase a 16gb card because that wouldn't have been enough storage for my music collection and the occasional TV episode or movie. Two or three 16gb cards would mean I would have to put my music and videos on multiple cards and swap them depending on what I wanted to listen to or watch at the moment.
And it has nothing to do with the speed. I'm not doing apps2sd. I simply need more storage on one card. I'm surprised it's that hard to understand. Talk about fail...
Are these cards junk or worth buying? Never heard of the brand, assume its a Chinese manufacturer.
Anyone have one of these, try them, good/bad experience with them?

Memorette has been around for a while. They made blank cassette and video tapes, and now also make blank dvds and cds.
I have Clear & Present Danger and The Rock recorded on a Memorette video tape. I don't have a VCR though..
Anyone else have any experience with the company and/or specifically their micro sd cards?

Do you still have it by chance? Did you try reformatting it other than FAT32? Did it read the total capacity correctly?
Thx yes i do NOT mean memorex, they are relatively speaking a name brand. The brand is Memorette, which im sure is some chinese stuff...considering buying them but want to make sure they are worth buying.

Yes, it's a well-known Korean manufacturer. The only question is: will you get original product of fake. I don't know how to see the difference when buying online.
Original Memorette cards should give you 11Mb/s write speed. Friend of mine bought this for $99 a time ago. You can find such cards for $45 on eBay but are they original...

Yeah at that price, what you are getting is most likely a 2 gb card that has been hacked to read 32gb. When you go to add your media or whatever, everything after 2gb is currupt and not really there since you ran out of space after the actual card size.

I have a 32 GB Sandisk class 10 in my EVO and it works badass.
Just FYI I bought this card off ebay and I have to say DO NOT BUY!! As it was mentioned some where else. it will write like 2 or so GB then all the rest of the data becomes corrupt. I am now currently in a depute about this card and all in order to get my Evo to be my end all MP3 player (which it already kinda was) with Google Music.

Hey, I bought this one as well, fake as it can be. I have also ongoing claim with Paypal regarding this. Looking at it afterwards it was too good to be true anyway.
I also had a bad experience with this product. I could put 32 gb worth of info on it but it would never read all of the info. I mostly used it for movies and I would put about 10-15 movies on it ( each movie about 1gb) but I would only be able to watch the first couple of movies once I put the card in my tablet. My computer and tablet would show that it had 32gb on it so I just though it was my device and not the card. I think I am screwed because I bought it 3 months ago. What Ebay seller did you Buy it from. Maybe if we all bought it from the same person then Paypal will allow me to open a case.

I just thought that My G-Tablet wasn't reading the card correctl or the format of the movies wasn't working so I kind of gave up. I should have done a search to see if others were having problems.
I have one of these - 32gb memorette sdhc. Does not work well in my HTC Sensation. pictures start disappearing, video doesn't play back, carded apps begin to fail.
Now here's the odd bit - seems to work fine in Lumix G2 camera. Pics, video all stay just fine. Even when i put this in my phone after - the lumix G2 pics stayed on the chip and could be viewed on the phone fine but anything taken on the andriod phone started to become corrupt after a hour or so.
Can anyone else do this test??

I just bought this from B&H and paid more. Going to partition now and set an ext.3 for a2sd.
I suspect that it will be fine since these companies buy from the same source and brand it for themselves. My thought was that Samsung probably one of the main sources and I trust their QC since they make some of the best phones on the market.
but will see...I'll report back if something remarkable happens.
I change out cards every 12 months anyway because I had one fail on me (not Samsung) and it was not pleasant.

Yah I think that's wrong. Looks like the adapter is rated for 95MB/s.
Even though it says "microSDXC" that's a regular sized SD card in the photo, it looks shopped.
The correct card/option should be SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC Card Class 10 UHS-1 Plus Adapter $59.95
It's a 64GB Class 10. I may just walk over to the store and get it. $99 seems reasonable for it right? I don't think I can wait 2-5 weeks for the Amazon deal.

They charged me wayyy too much for shipping last time I bought from them. It was something like $10 and the envelope with my sd card in it (from USPS) said in the corner the cost was less than $2.
On the plus side, though, the shipped me a class 4 card when the description said class 2.

I bought that exact card from Amazon for my SGS3, the phone can handle it just fine. Just make sure you reformat it as FAT32 or it will be useless in recovery if you're using CWM. Once reformatted CWM recovery can see it just fine.

This exact MicroSD card is going for $99 on Newegg so there's little doubt it's counterfeit. For another $10 I'd rather spring for a 32GB card that comes with a warranty and hassle free return. Also I heard with the 64GB card the media scanner takes forever to process it.

My last one cost about 65-70$ from Amazon (so you can definitely get them cheaper than Newegg,) but I do agree that these are likely counterfeit (or stolen... muhahahaha)
Media scanner: yea, but marking the media scanner to not scan it (.nomedia) is my normal fix for that issue.

I have one already, not the one from eBay but the official one, in my S2 and the media scanner doesn't take any longer than the 32 I had. But I haven't packed it full of media either.
For the price ill bite, if something goes wrong then at least I'm paying with paypal

Here is an interesting article with some very interesting insight into the world of "fake" microSD card manufacturing in China... written by an American(?) who works at a factory in China. Apparently some "fake" cards are just substandard cards that flash memory makers dump on thesecondary markets...

I didnt understand it completely, but I think he was trying to say that he will refund fully if I will not satisfy with the card, and I dont need to return it back.
Still finger crossed.. Dont know whether the card will arrive or not
Mine emailed late last night that it was marked shipped so patiently waiting. If this is a real one then I will sad I didn't order 3 instead of one...
How do i order it? It just says sold and doesnt offer me an option to purchase it.

That means that sale is over. You can click on the seller and see if he has any more open. If not you are out of luck, or in luck depending on how this turns out

They are, supposedly, shipping from China. Won't get them for another week or two probably. Mine, again supposedly, shipped out on the 28th.
