Hi I have always been a android owner and up until there was no major cause of concern.
I recently migrated from Galaxy s2 to Nexus and found the way ICS browser show this web site is very disappointing any though on this please

Because the Website is fail.
They have it mobile enabled but never built the mobile version, and/or never checked to make sure it worked.
Works fine as full desktop site.

Your judging a phone on the basis of one pointless poorly designed, created and maintained website? I'm curious as to how you made it this far onto the internet.
Just so you know as well you can fine tune the way the web browser loads websites in the settings menu, but that may be too difficult for you to possibly comprehend.

Whats funny is he probably tripped over news for ANOTHER Samsung device.
There never was an FC09 build for the E4GT that was tested by Sprint. But seeing as how there are plenty of other Samsung devices using the same naming scheme for builds.....

Doubt it. Thats probably the release number for a gingerbread OTA update with a few bug fixes for the original epic.

Thanks for the clarification. I gave my OG Epic to my brother-in-law to play around with. It's no longer activated so he's just been messing around with WiFi and can use it to make calls with Google Voice via WiFi.
If it was about to get an ICS official update I was going to temporarily reclaim it. lol

Sprint: switching phones?

Say if I buy a new phone, how would I transfer my old number that's on my epic4gt onto my new phone? And in the future can I switch it back to my epic 4g touch?

Your phone number will transfer. As it attached to your account and not your phone. And if you bought your new phone and still have your E4GT you can always re activate your E4GT.

Yes you can. My wife and I have three phone for two people. (Don't ask) she wanted the Icrap 4s and we kept her evo shift. So if we wanted we could play musical phones. Lol.

Not sure thru my sprint. I never used it. I just either call sprint or go to the store. That's what they get paid to do.

You can do the esn swap on the sprint.com website. Simple and saves a trip to the store or waiting on the phone

FYI, if you're on SERO you have to call and speak to an agent. If you try it online it will tell you that you have to change your account type.

How to activate 4g on a flashed epic 4g touch

My epic 4g touch is flashed to boost mobile and I want to use 4g since they offer 4g now does anyone know how to do that

It's my understanding that boost has to actually add 4g to your account, although cost doesn't change. try giving customer service a call and asking them to enable it on the account. that is my estimation of the problem, but i certainly am no professional.

What's the most data you've used in a month, and did Verizon do anything about it?
I'm wondering because recently my Verizon Unlimited Data plan has become my only means of internet access and, well:

Yea i wouldn't . ive been using this much data because i build kernels and every git clone is like 2gig . so it adds up quick . i got unlimited data so i use it . if vzn wanted to terminate my contract cuz of that . I'd be more than OK with going elsewhere

I'm also on unlimited with my daughter, she tethers sometimes and I told her to try to keep it short but now I think I'll just tell her to use as much as she want. The most she has used is like 2 or 3gb.

Since I'm on Sprint with 3G, it would take me a full month of downloading to even reach a GB. I think the most I've even reached was 250 MB. Sprint 3G usually gets me around 0.05 Mbps. I can't wait until LTE arrives in my area!
