[Q] unroot? stock recovery? factory state? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Anyway we get back to unroot, stock recovery, basically back to factory state so we can exchange with another unit?

Here you go.

I tried that, and superuser and cwm are still there.

I am also looking for a way to get the stock recovery back.. So far I think there is no method to get the phone back to factory state...

The best way to go back to stock without a nandroid back-up??

No matter what I do, I am stuck with the 'Nuthin but honey theme" because I did not make a nandroid backup.
All of the instructions going back to stock aren't really going back to stock.
So am I stuck with this theme until an update comes out, or is there no way to unflash or get rid of the theme. I flashed back to stock using Odin but without a real wipe of data, I keep getting this damn theme. It's annoying now.
So any help is appreciated.
What are you flashing in ODIN??
Is it just a kernal or are you flashing full STOCK System restore.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1282420 Use this to go back to stock make sure you factory reset

I have two questions...

I remember flashing back to stock (unmodified) on the Vibrant through Odin, so is it that easy on the sprint S3? If so where? Could someone link me up? I'd appreciate it. Does it also take my radio back to stock?
Also How do you reset the flash counter in the process?
Thanks in advance.

Also I made a nandroid back up before I started this flashing stuff... Would I just factory/wipe, delete dalvik and wipe cache. nandroid back and its all the same thing as stock, but im rooted and have cwm? if so that seems easier and just as effective plus I wont have to get root or cwm back correct?

Yes if you made a backup, you can restore that backup and you'd be on stock and rooted. I don't think you have to wipe anything to restore a backup though

Back to stock

Which is the correct way to go stock with One V? When i unlocked my bootloader, flashed an recovery, i took an backup of stock ROM with TWRP. Can i just use "Restore" function from TWRP when i have wiped the whole phone, or what?
Yes just restore it.But,of you want to go completely stock as if the phone came out the box,use an RUU.
Thanks for the answer. No, I am not staying at stock, I had just thing which i needed to do with stock. =)
Also, flash the kernel from the backup,or your restore will not work.

[Q] going back to a stock rom

Hello everybody,
I got a new s4 mini from Poland, and I live in ISRAEL, some guy here opened the region locked problem somehow, when rooted the phone he triggered the knox 0X1.
today I installed CM10.2 on my phone (not with ClockworkMod but with Team Win Recovery Project), and I would like to go back to the original stock rom.
I think I've used backup, but after it I pressed on factory reset, and I can't find a way to restore it, does anyone know how? and if not, how can I install the stock rom again without triggering the region locking thing?
thank you for you help.

At TWRP there's menu for restore, if you see nothing under restore, that means no backups were made. Factory reset has nothing to do with restore a nandroid backup. It simply restore to the 'original state' of the current installed ROM.
If you already triggered KNOX, there's no going back. I have no idea what the 'guy' did, but rooting has nothing to do with region lock.
If you want stock ROM, you need to download the ROM file for you phone and use ODIN to flash it back.

So no backup. I mentioned the Knox because I'm afraid to downgrade back to jelly bean4.2.2. Anyway, I can't find ROM stock file for Israel for i9195. Can I use something else? Thank you for you help.

[Q] Go back to stock

Dear guys!
I'd like to back to the stock recovery, and unroot my phone, without reinstall the entrie ROM.
I previously unlocked with FreeGee, but after that I wiped everything, (so the FreeGee backup too), and now I can't get back my stock system.
Could anyone please provide me a proper method of unrooting, and putting back a stock recovery?
Maybe an ADB sideload might help me, this way I don't have to use CWM (which I want to change to stock).
Thanks
